Chapter 459 - 459:Restoring What Was Lost

In the vast tapestry of time, a Law Master might call back the dead from the river of time itself.

Resurrection, granted by the Will of Creation.

What Malrick was doing now was similar, but far more forceful.

Relying on his control over time and the inexhaustible power of the Infinity Stones, he forced the timeline backward, retrieving lives lost.

He reached into the moment when the Maksimov couple died.

As the explosion consumed them, their existence was erased from that point onward.

"Time-Space Reversal!" he intoned.

In an instant, reality reassembled like a rewound film.

Patterns of destruction vanished, replaced by the familiar serenity of a wooden house.

The detached house in Sokovia reappeared, intact.

This time, along with Malrick and the three others, the Maksimov couple stood there.

Meanwhile, somewhere beyond human sight — in the dark expanse where Death rules — two decayed souls lingered, waiting.

In that void, two points of green flame flickered.

Death opened her eyes, calm and silent.

"Malrick? Bringing souls back from the past without fracturing time or creating alternate branches, you say? An interesting experiment," she murmured.

Back in the small house in Sokovia, the Maksimov couple looked as they had on the day of their death.

Their memories froze at the moment the missile exploded and fire and chaos consumed them.

"Wanda! Pietro, hide under the bed — now!" they cried in panic.

Their children, stunned after more than a decade apart, rushed forward.

Tears streamed down their faces as they embraced their parents.

"Mom! Dad! We're here. It's okay now. We're here!"

The parents froze, bewildered.

"Wanda? Pietro? How… how are you so grown? And wasn't there a missile just now?"

Mom's voice trembled.

"That was ten years ago," Wanda said softly.

"Malrick resurrected you. He… he fixed it."

But when Wanda turned to point at Malrick, he and Tony were gone.

For a moment, only the family remained in the house.

"Malrick is Wanda's boyfriend," Pietro blurted, stepping forward.

"Though… I still think Wanda is more suited for someone like Superman."

Pietro's words triggered a wave of silence.

Wanda glared at him.

"Pietro!"

He flinched as Wanda's red magic flickered.

"Okay! Fine! I'll shut up!" he cried, ducking his head.

Their parents exchanged bewildered looks.

Their world had just turned inside out.

Yet against all logic, they accepted their resurrection.

---

At the same time, Malrick returned to a beachfront mansion in Los Angeles — this time with Tony.

He stood there, watching the green and scarlet energy fade from Malrick's body.

Tony's lips were dry; his heart pounded with a mix of hope and fear.

"This is incredible," he whispered.

"But are you sure it won't come at a terrible price? If you made some deal with a devil or demon — stop it now."

He struggled to steady himself.

"We're doing great," Malrick said gently, letting Tony sink onto the sofa.

"Your parents are at peace. There is no need for foolish deals."

Tony nodded, letting out a shaky breath.

But an even deeper conflict stirred inside him — the kind that only memories of heartbreak and regret can evoke.

He had returned home after many years, after many wrong turns, not knowing if he still belonged.

His throat tightened.

His eyes darted to his father's old study.

His mind raced with guilt and longing.

He cleared his throat.

"We should… go to the cemetery. Use dad's ashes maybe? Help him adapt faster — bring him back properly."

Malrick recognized Tony's turmoil.

This wasn't politeness.

This was a man wishing to right every wrong.

"No need," he said firmly, raising one finger.

Tony froze.

Even though Tony rose to his feet and smoothed his shirt — insisting on standing formally — Malrick ignored him.

Time began to reverse.

Everything around them peeled backward.

Earth spun in dizzying circles.

Days flashed past: Tony and Malrick entering and leaving the mansion, repeated countless times.

As the rewind progressed, Tony himself appeared younger and younger, traces of age fading from his face.

Twenty-one years of his life rewound in seconds.

Then finally, the night came — the night the Winter Soldier assassinated Howard and Maria.

A car exploded.

Fire consumed everything.

Malrick intervened, restoring their existence as he had done with the Maksimov couple.

Time surged forward again.

The mansion reappeared, just as it had been.

The Howard couple stood alive, their confusion plain but their eyes filled with gratitude.

No souls from Death's hand, no missing time.

Everything restored.
