"Oh no! How could this happen!" Spider-Man cried out in shock as he watched the changes spreading through the Wakandan zombies.
Malrick, however, was not surprised. "It seems the virus must be eliminated completely, not just suppressed."
If a single Mind Stone were enough to resolve everything, then the quantum zombie virus would never have become such a catastrophic threat.
Although Malrick had ended the battle the moment he appeared, that overwhelming display did not mean the danger was trivial.
From the very beginning, he had been using light to isolate himself from the outside world.
After all, in the Marvel Universe, even abstract existences were not necessarily immune to infection. A zombie version of Eternity appearing one day would not be strange at all.
Fortunately, Malrick was not overly concerned.
Because he himself was also a virus, one far more terrifying.
Malrick connected to his God Kingdom, using it as a transfer point, and summoned the Blacklight Clone.
Light burst forth once more.
This time, in addition to the Mind Stone's radiation, Blacklight Virus particles spread simultaneously to every corner of the Earth.
When the light faded, all the Blacklight Virus reconverged, reforming into a complete clone resting in Rejedo's palm.
A few seconds later, Malrick reached his conclusion.
"The Blacklight Clone can indeed devour the zombie virus. Good. The problem is solved."
The zombie virus that had once caused Malrick immense trouble, forcing him to disinfect entire worlds, was completely consumed.
The moment the light swept across the planet, the Blacklight Virus invaded every living body, devouring every trace of the zombie virus within.
The Earth was now truly clean.
Only the damage remained.
People whose bodies had been torn apart were still incomplete.
Malrick reopened the teleportation channel and sent the Blacklight Clone away as it continued digesting the virus.
The infectivity of the quantum zombie virus was unimaginably strong. After fully absorbing it, the Blacklight Clone might even undergo a minor evolution.
"Is it… is it really over?" Spider-Man asked softly, watching everything unfold through Rejedo's perspective.
Once again bathed in light, the zombies regained their sanity.
This time, there was no lingering viral residue.
After a brief moment of confusion, free will returned to them completely.
Screams and sobs quickly spread through the crowd.
Most people had been bitten at least once during the outbreak. Zombies attacked to consume flesh, not to restrain.
No one present was unscathed. Every survivor was missing pieces of flesh, and some had lost half their bodies entirely.
For a moment, Wakanda was filled with grief and despair.
Seeing this, Malrick scattered light like a gentle rain.
While eliminating remnants of Thanos's legion hidden among the crowd, he also healed the injured.
Even Ant-Man, Scott, who had been reduced to nothing but a head inside a glass jar, shattered the container and regrew his entire body.
Malrick's main body was a top-tier Skyfather existence, possessing power on the scale of a galaxy cluster. Healing ordinary beings required little effort.
"Spider-Man," Malrick said calmly, "the disaster is over. What comes after will require patience and resolve from people like you. Goodbye."
From the beginning, Malrick had set his own rules.
Just as those who encountered Eternity could make a wish, anyone whose heart embodied justice, kindness, and determination, qualities aligned with light, could call to him.
And when they did, he would answer.
Rejedo's towering form dissolved into radiant light and dispersed across the sky.
Spider-Man reappeared on the ground, still wrapped in a fading glow.
"That feeling of being a giant was incredible," Peter muttered. "Can I… hey, why am I back already?"
He looked around, but Rejedo was gone, as if it had never existed.
"Wait, I don't remember seeing you in any tokusatsu show," he said hurriedly. "I don't even know your name. Are you from M78 or something?"
There was no response.
Suddenly, a metallic rod with a white handle slipped from his grasp.
"This is… a transformation device?"
Peter picked it up, recognizing it as the Courage Stick used to transform into Cosmos.
Images of the Wakandan people crying in pain flashed through his mind.
At that moment, he understood what he needed to do next.
…
Saving worlds, then receiving feedback of power.
The Rejedo Clone continued to grow stronger through this cycle.
The Zombie Universe was only the beginning.
It had not been long since Malrick had cast his main body into the Multiverse.
After the zombie incident ended, one crisis after another followed, allowing him to truly witness the vast diversity of the Multiverse.
In one mutant branch world, Sentinel robots exterminated all mutants, only to turn on humanity afterward.
Malrick intervened and resolved the crisis.
In another universe ruled by a variant of Kang, the tyrant launched war against the entire cosmos.
Malrick did not act, because Doctor Doom arrived from the TVA and claimed victory first.
There were also worlds that were little more than projections of comic crossover events.
Like this one.
Hundreds of years ago, a spatial rift accidentally connected this universe to the Alien homeworld.
A single spacecraft passed through before the rift closed.
At first, it seemed insignificant. Dimensional anomalies were nothing new in the Marvel Universe.
But that ship was not lost to space.
It was recovered by a Kree team.
Inside, they discovered numerous Alien lifeforms and facehuggers.
Their mishandling triggered a localized outbreak.
Instead of destroying the species, the Kree Supreme Intelligence recognized the Aliens' terrifying evolutionary potential.
They began conducting biological research.
At first, they used small organisms such as mice.
Later, their ambitions grew.
They captured Skrulls, Shi'ar citizens, and even Asgardians for experimentation.
As centuries passed, the number and diversity of Alien variants multiplied.
Eventually, this drew the attention of every major power in the universe.
When patience finally ran out, a massive war erupted.
Unable to withstand multiple factions at once, the Kree deployed vast numbers of Aliens onto enemy planets.
Alien reproduction was brutal.
Queens laid eggs, facehuggers attached to hosts, implanted embryos, and absorbed the hosts' genetic strengths.
Over centuries, Skrull Aliens, Asgardian Aliens, and countless other variants emerged.
Super-evolved Aliens spread devastation across the cosmos.
For a time, the Kree Empire still maintained control.
Then they made a fatal mistake.
On that day, their Earth expedition returned with a woman named Carol Danvers.
They subjected her to Alien reproduction.
When Malrick arrived in this universe, he witnessed the aftermath.
An Alien version of Captain Marvel was tearing through the Kree Empire.
After understanding the full chain of events, Malrick could only acknowledge the Kree's reckless boldness.
By then, the Captain Marvel Alien had already invaded Asgard, then Thanos's forces.
Thor Aliens. Thanos Aliens.
Watching a humanoid Alien coated in slime wielding Mjolnir was enough to leave even Malrick feeling faintly disillusioned.
