"I'm taking Sherry to class, so I'm heading out now."
It was morning at Malrick's home.
Today, it was Kara's turn to prepare breakfast. The menu featured her handmade ramen and Heat Vision‑style fried eggs.
Diana and Sherry quickly slurped the chewy noodles and, after a brief pause, opened a portal and were the first to leave.
Before stepping through, Diana paused to hug Malrick and sneak in another slurp, causing Sherry's eyes to widen in surprise.
"Coming back to train tonight?" Diana teased, issuing a playful challenge. "Yesterday you taught Wanda magic; today it's my turn."
"I'll be visiting other universes today, but I'll try my best to return," Malrick replied, still holding his chopsticks.
"You better, my little Superman," Diana murmured, her voice soft but edged with a teasing threat. Her eyes rippled with warmth, yet shone with a predatory glint. Pressing her hand to his chest, she added, "Or you'll owe me two days—with interest."
With that, she squeezed one last time before ushering a dazed Sherry through the portal.
Malrick lowered his head, silently returning to his ramen. Over the years, he had grown accustomed to the lively chaos of their home.
At first, it felt like a warm, personal accomplishment. Gradually, however, he realized his apartment had become a place resembling Tang Bohu's household in Flirting Scholar.
As everyone became more comfortable, the women grew bolder and more uninhibited at home. Even someone as powerful as Malrick sometimes felt powerless amidst their energy.
Each day was busy; everyone had their own tasks. After Diana left, the others quickly finished breakfast and departed, following the same playful routine.
Once only Kara remained, clearing the dishes, Malrick set down his chopsticks. His cotton and linen clothes were rumpled, streaked with handprints from the morning bustle.
He sat quietly, lost in thought—but he was waiting.
Kara finished washing the bowls and chopsticks and returned, moving with the ease of familiarity.
"Hurry up, I need to bask in the sun," she urged, then pushed Malrick to the floor and pounced on him.
It was a tradition in Malrick's home: whoever prepared breakfast had the right to initiate a playful combat or request a magic lesson. Once handled by Natasha, breakfast duties now rotated among everyone except Sherry.
Kara was eager for her morning sun, so their Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu sparring session was swift but energetic.
Once Kara refreshed herself and changed into her battle suit to fly onto the balcony, Malrick rose slowly. His messy home clothes seamlessly transformed into his battle suit.
His lazy morning aura shifted, replaced by focused energy, like an office worker who suddenly hears their spouse is away and races out to meet friends for skewers.
"The sunlight is perfect… every day," he murmured, walking to the balcony. Using the God Realm, he teleported to the God Realm Dimension.
It was spring of 2012. The Chitauri invasion had been expected that year, but with Thanos gone, no crisis had occurred.
Minor events, like Ivan Vanko and Terrigen Crystal incidents, were being handled by Tony and the Avengers.
Other matters, like Loki's fame and the Men in Black's extraterrestrial communications hub, were already in order.
Malrick's focus today was on the Rege Duo Clone, whose gene level had surpassed the previous limit, reaching 60,000 times—a second stage of genetic evolution.
At this stage, Rejedo's height would surge a hundredfold from the first stage.
Through his other three bodies' perspectives, Malrick observed the God Realm continent.
900,000 kilometers…
1,000,000 kilometers…
10,000,000 kilometers…
90,000,000 kilometers.
The Rege Duo Clone's final height was 90 million kilometers. The immensity of its body implied even greater energy storage, defense, and combat power.
For Malrick, the breakthrough provided critical data for his own analysis.
"The Rege Duo Clone is transcending the limits of Ultimate Light, but I can only learn from it," Malrick mused.
He sat on a stone before a mountain of Kryptonite, with two floating clumps of blood samples from Wolf Superman and Superman.
During the aftermath of Infinite Ultron, he had analyzed their genetic fragments.
Most were ordinary Kryptonian genes, but the subtle differences held the key to advancing his own evolution.
Months of effort left his main body at gene level 10081.
"Close to Kryptonite, my body instinctively reacts, yet the next evolutionary path remains elusive," he reflected.
"Perhaps the next step isn't Superman, but the opposite… Doomsday."
Two days prior, he had decided to return to the DC Universe.
He wasn't in a rush to seek Supermen yet; this trip was for Bizarro, Ultraman, and Doomsday.
Since pursuing Superman couldn't break through the perfect gene, he would explore the missing fragments of the Kryptonian genome.
Kryptonite would be insufficient, so he planned a swift journey without Tony, who was busy recruiting Inhumans worldwide.
Activating his traverse ability, Malrick keyed in:
[Keywords: Bizarro Superman, DC]
[Starting search…]
[World selection…]
As several worlds appeared, one caught his eye.
"Huh? A world I've visited before?"
Malrick studied it closely. "The 'Superman & Louis' world… Of course, their Anti-World also has a Bizarro. I'll go there and, while I'm at it, check on Clark's current state."
