"Sharon? What are you doing here?"

When Steve saw Sharon opening the door, his first reaction was that he had knocked on the wrong apartment. Instinctively, he glanced at the door number, only to realize he hadn't made a mistake.

Faced with Steve's question, Sharon Carter didn't know how to respond for a moment. After all, under Nick Fury's arrangement, she was currently posing as a young nurse working at a hospital—and now Steve Rogers was standing right in front of her.

A nurse appearing in the home of one of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s founders was a problem no matter how you looked at it.

But Sharon was an elite S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. After a brief moment of hesitation, she quickly came up with a solution: tell Steve "the truth."

"I'm visiting my aunt. I have the day off today. By the way, Rogers, what are you doing here?"

"My aunt?" Steve froze when he heard her answer. If the owner of this house was Sharon's aunt, didn't that mean Sharon was Peggy's niece?

After a moment of thought, Steve said, "I'm here to see Peggy—Peggy Carter. Is she at home?"

"She's here, but she hasn't been feeling very well lately, so—"

"May I see her?" Hearing that Peggy Carter wasn't in good health made Steve's heart sink.

"Alright. Come with me."

Seeing the concern on Steve's face, Sharon gestured for him to follow her.

She led Steve to Peggy Carter's room, asked him to wait outside for a moment, and then went in alone.

"Aunt Peggy, someone's here to see you."

"Someone's here to see me?"

Peggy Carter was momentarily stunned. It had been a long time since anyone had come to visit her, and this wasn't a public place—no one could enter without proper authorization.

But soon, Peggy realized who the unexpected visitor must be.

The person who appeared moments later confirmed her guess.

"Long time no see, Peggy."

Sharon waved her hand, and Steve walked into the room.

The moment Peggy Carter saw the young man standing before her, her memories seemed to pull her back to the war-torn years of the past.

"Yes… it has been a long time, Steve."

They smiled at each other, understanding everything without needing to say more.

Sharon glanced at her aunt and Steve, then quietly left the room. She knew they had much to talk about and chose to give them some privacy.

"Clark, Dr. Erik Selvig predicts that the site of this Nine Realms Convergence is the same place where the Dark Elves last appeared—Greenwich, London."

While Steve was visiting Peggy Carter, Clark received a call from Nick Fury. Having learned about the upcoming Convergence in advance, Fury immediately thought of Dr. Selvig after the battle in New York.

In the field of astronomy, Selvig ranked among the world's top experts. Further investigation revealed that he had studied the theory of the Nine Realms overlapping long ago—just as he had once researched the Bifrost—though no one believed him at the time.

Nick Fury quickly had Selvig released from the psychiatric facility. After resuming his research, Selvig concluded that this Convergence would most likely occur in Greenwich, London.

Although Clark had already dealt with the Dark Elves, the Nine Realms Convergence itself was an extremely dangerous phenomenon. According to Selvig, if the Convergence truly occurred, London—at its center—could be completely destroyed.

Based on mythological records, particularly Thor's account, each of the Nine Realms has a different gravitational constant. If they overlapped in London, the fluctuating gravitational forces would devastate not only the city but Greenwich itself as well.

Fortunately, Dr. Selvig had developed a set of devices specifically designed to counteract the effects of the Convergence. Nick Fury's task now was to have these devices installed before the event occurred.

However, intelligence reports indicated that reflections of other realms had already begun appearing above Greenwich. That was why Fury immediately thought of Clark—because only Clark could reach Greenwich, London in time and assemble the equipment before the Convergence.

To be honest, before receiving Fury's call, Clark hadn't realized how catastrophic the Nine Realms Convergence could be. In the movies, aside from teleportation effects, it hadn't seemed particularly dangerous.

But since Fury said so—and his reasoning made sense—Clark and Diana packed their things. Moments later, a portal opened inside a S.H.I.E.L.D. base.

"Where's the Captain?"

When Clark and Diana arrived, nearly all the Avengers were already present—except Steve Rogers. Given the gravity of the situation, Clark felt that the Captain should have been the last person to be absent.

"I think he went to see his first love."

Because Nick Fury had been monitoring Steve's daily activities, he knew exactly where Steve had gone that day.
