The Realm Eternal – Asgard
The golden spires of Asgard gleamed under the twin suns. Inside the throne room, a trial of arrogance had unfolded.
Thor, son of Odin, stood defiant—his golden hair tousled, red cape sweeping behind him. He had led an unauthorized assault on Jotunheim, the realm of the Frost Giants, violating a fragile truce.
Odin Allfather, king of Asgard and bearer of the Odinforce, stood at the peak of the steps, disappointment heavy in his voice.
"You are unworthy of these realms, unworthy of your title… unworthy of the loved ones you have betrayed."
Thor's face twitched. "Father—"
"I cast you out!"
Odin raised Mjölnir—Thor's enchanted hammer—and whispered an incantation.
"Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor."
With a thunderclap, Thor was consumed by light—and flung from the Bifrost across the stars.
New Mexico – Storm Front
A blinding streak of energy crashed from the sky into the New Mexico desert. A thunderstorm exploded into life.
Jane Foster, astrophysicist, skidded her van to a halt as the impact tore across the horizon.
Darcy shrieked in the passenger seat. "Did we just hit him?!"
Jane squinted through the dust.
There—amid the swirling debris—lay a figure in torn armor. Blonde, broad-shouldered, unconscious.
A man.
Jane hesitated… then ran to him.
– Hospital
Thor woke up restrained to a hospital bed.
He thrashed violently, shouting about Bifrost and warriors and Odin. The nurses panicked.
Darcy filmed him on her phone.
Jane stood off to the side, confused and fascinated. "He's… beautiful," she whispered, despite herself.
Later, Thor escaped—ripping IVs free and knocking over a nurse.
Security tackled him in the parking lot. He was dragged back inside, but not before Jane pulled Darcy aside.
"I think we need to talk to him again."
Not far from the impact site, SHIELD had locked down the crater.
Dozens of agents surrounded the hammer, now embedded in stone, completely immovable. Bulldozers, cranes, even experimental lifting tech—all failed.
Agent Coulson stood nearby, arms crossed, watching civilians and thrill-seekers try their luck.
Each one failed.
One by one.
Until Thor arrived.
Wearing a stolen SHIELD guard's jacket and moving with the determination of a warrior denied his honor, Thor infiltrated the compound.
Kai, meanwhile, was back in Queens—oblivious to the growing storm across the world.
In the dark of night, Thor moved through tents and tech, fighting past guards with practiced precision. His eyes locked on the hammer like it was calling him home.
Finally, under the floodlights, he reached out and grasped Mjölnir.
He pulled.
Thunder cracked overhead.
But the hammer did not move.
Not an inch.
A beat of silence.
And then Thor dropped to his knees in the rain, shoulders sagging, realization dawning.
He was no longer worthy.
Inside SHIELD Custody –
Thor sat silently as Agent Coulson entered the tent.
"We've had our share of strange visitors lately," Coulson began. "But you're definitely one of the more… interesting ones."
Thor looked up, eyes hollow. "I have no quarrel with you."
Coulson nodded. "Good to know. But we need to understand who—or what—you are."
Thor gave no answer.
That night, Jane returned to the site, driven by questions, curiosity… and something else she couldn't explain.
She confronted Coulson, arguing for Thor's release. "He's not dangerous. Not in the way you think."
"You think he fell out of the sky."
"I know he did."
Coulson studied her a moment.
"You've got 15 minutes."
The Rooftop Conversation – Jane and Thor
On the roof of a small SHIELD outpost, Jane and Thor sat beneath the stars.
He stared up at the constellations like they were old friends.
"You said you're not from Earth," Jane said softly.
"I am from Asgard," Thor replied. "A realm beyond your own, connected by the Bifrost."
"Like a wormhole?" she asked.
"Your science and our magic… they are one and the same."
Jane turned to him, eyebrows raised.
"I used to believe the universe was cold and empty," she said. "Just particles and numbers. But when you fell through that storm—like it was meant to happen—it changed something."
Thor looked at her, a rare softness in his eyes.
"You looked after me. Even when I had nothing."
"You still don't have your hammer," she said, teasing gently.
He smiled faintly. "No. But I have your kindness. That's worth more than power."
The silence between them wasn't awkward—it was something forming. Unspoken, fragile, but real.
A beginning.
Meanwhile – SHIELD Briefing Room
As Thor bonded with Jane, Agent Hill and Fury watched satellite footage of the crater, of Thor's failed attempt, of the storm.
Fury frowned.
"Send a full report to Stark. Something tells me this is just the start."
Back in Queens – Kai Sleeps On
While gods walked in the desert and storms raged over the American Southwest, Kai remained unaware.
He lay asleep in his bed, hoodie half-on, Omnitrix dimly pulsing on the nightstand beside him.
He dreamed of blue skies and delivery routes.
Of peace.
He had no idea that a prince of thunder had arrived on Earth.
Or that fate was slowly winding their destinies toward collision.
