Carl had been quietly reading the chat log for a while now.
He hadn't said anything,
not because he wasn't paying attention,
but because something had been occupying his thoughts.
Keisha's background.
Something didn't quite add up.
Based on what Keisha had said in the group chat,
she didn't seem to know much about angels at all.
To her, they were little more than mythical beings,
a legend that only recently had shown signs of being real.
But that conflicted with what Carl knew.
Because in the Super God World,
Keisha herself was the Queen of Angels.
In fact, she wasn't just a ruler.
She was one of the strongest beings in that entire universe,
the absolute ceiling of power.
Of course, that applied to later-stage Keisha.
Carl didn't know much about her earlier years.
Back when he watched the anime,
the focus had been on other characters.
By that point, Keisha was already tens of thousands of years old
and fully established as the Angel Queen.
So…
It actually wasn't surprising
that her current understanding of angels was limited.
Still,
if something really happened to her,
Carl would definitely step in to help.
So, he finally responded in the chat.
[What To Do If My Sister's a Chuunibyou]:
Carl! You're here??
[God Among Men]:
I am.
[What To Do If My Sister's a Chuunibyou]:
See? See? Carl's here and already said he'll help!
[What To Do If My Sister's a Chuunibyou]:
So relax, Keisha.
With Carl on your side, there's absolutely nothing to worry about.
[Heavenly Blade Queen]:
Yes…
Thank you, Carl. And thank you too, Shika-nee.
[God Among Men]:
No need to thank me.
[What To Do If My Sister's a Chuunibyou]:
Exactly! No need for thanks at all!
[Heavenly Blade Queen]:

In the Super God World,
Keisha stared at the chat messages,
a wave of relief washing over her.
To be honest…
At first, she hadn't taken the "angel sightings" all that seriously.
After all, angels were the stuff of legend,
mythical beings spoken of in old stories.
And those claiming to have seen one?
They had no proof whatsoever.
Even if angels really had appeared,
Keisha didn't see them as a threat.
They weren't her enemies.
But what really unsettled her…
…was her parents' behavior.
For one thing,
they had looked shocked when they first heard
someone had seen an angel.
Then,
they actually went out and tried to track down that witness.
Lately, Keisha noticed something even stranger:
Her parents had started packing.
Logically speaking,
there should be no connection between the angel rumors and her parents' decision to leave.
But…
Something felt off.
She couldn't shake the feeling
that the two things were somehow connected.
And the more she thought about it,
the worse her sense of foreboding grew.
It made no sense.
They were just ordinary people.
Well, extremely wealthy ordinary people, sure…
…but still human.
Would angels really be interested in money?
She had no clue what was going on.
But that didn't stop her from worrying.
After all,
Angels were legendary beings.
If her parents had somehow offended one,
it could spell disaster for a normal family like theirs.
Granted,
Keisha herself had already purchased a Two-Tomoe Sharingan
from the group's point system.
But even with that, she didn't feel confident.
Because these were angels.
Now, after seeing the chat messages,
and Carl's promise to help,
She could finally breathe easy.
Even if her parents had somehow offended the angels,
even if they really came looking for revenge…
It wouldn't matter.
Because she knew,
Carl was far more powerful than any angel.
As one of the group's earliest members,
Keisha had seen his strength firsthand,
the tasks he had completed, the enemies he had overcome.
She knew what he was capable of.
Even resurrection wasn't beyond him.
She truly believed:
No angel could stand against Carl.
Now,
After buying her Sharingan,
Keisha still had a few hundred points left.
Originally, she'd planned to save them
to upgrade her eyes to Three-Tomoe.
But now, she figured it might be smarter
to hold on to them for something else,
Just in case she needed to post a task.
After all,
posting a task costs points.
And a few hundred points
wouldn't be enough for a Sharingan upgrade anyway.
High above the sky,
A figure hovered in the clouds.
No,
not a human.
An angel.
A male angel, clad in formal armor,
a heavy helmet covering his face.
His features were impossible to see.
He floated in the air,
gazing down at the earth below.
"Life exists here?"
"And… traces of angelic energy?"
"Should I investigate further…?"
"No."
"If there really are angelic traces,
then it's possible I'm not the only one here."
"It could also mean…
an angel fell in this place."
"Better to report this to the King."
He lingered for a moment,
then turned and vanished into the distance.
Several days later,
That same angel arrived at the gates
of a massive celestial palace.
It was a glorious, imposing structure.
Even from afar, its majesty was undeniable.
The angel landed and quickly made his way inside.
He dared not continue flying so close to the royal grounds.
Inside the palace,
a dozen male angels stood in solemn ranks.
At the heart of the hall sat a grand throne,
and it was no ordinary seat of power.
The throne was massive.
And upon it sat not one figure…
…but five.
At the center was a man lounging lazily,
clearly the one in command.
He looked to be in his late 30s or early 40s,
with long golden hair,
gleaming metal armor,
and a regal cloak draped across his shoulders.
If Carl were here,
he would have recognized the man instantly.
Hua Ye, Lord of the Celestial Palace.
Four scantily clad women surrounded him,
lounging at his side.
One of the male angels stepped forward and bowed.
"My King, I have something to report."
Hua Ye didn't even lift his head.
"What is it? Just say it."
"During my patrol, I stumbled upon a remote area,
a place so far-flung, I didn't even know life existed there."
"But more importantly,
I detected angelic traces in that region."
"Oh, that's all?"
Hua Ye waved his hand lazily.
"Fine, fine. You're dismissed."
"Yes, my King."
The angel bowed again and stepped aside.
Hua Ye popped a piece of fruit into his mouth,
then paused.
As if something had just occurred to him,
a strange smile curled at the corners of his lips.
He turned back to the angel.
"Wait a second…
Did you say angelic traces?"
The angel nodded.
"Yes."
"Hmm… angels, huh…"
Hua Ye's smile deepened.
"Take a few men with you.
Search the area thoroughly."
"If you find male angels, kill them."
"If they're female, bring them back alive."
"Yes, my King."
The angel bowed one last time,
then turned and left the palace.
