Midoriya, at the age of 16, is currently in Japan. And Genosha has already gone through its own little civil war with the "Blood Ties" event. Now, this means that every human in Genosha who is a descendant of mutants and has lived in the nation their entire lives is being forced out of the country and essentially kicked out due to the events that have occurred.
Now, we pick up with Midoriya, who is currently at home, and he is just hanging out with his girlfriend Kitty Pryde, and a lot of the other X-Men who are just sitting in the living room. Now, Midoriya is lying down, and Kitty is lying on top of him, talking about how they should really change the channel.
"Oh, come on, this movie is good!"
"Really, dude? Come on, you can see the guy's Quirk!"
"I mean, yeah, still, but I mean, it's better than CGI."
"I know, I know, but they don't use that stuff anymore. Hmm, well, I mean, what was it? You can't really blame them."
Now, while everyone is having this conversation, we will pick up with some events that have been happening in the past and in the background. Now, with America resuming its own Sentinel Program and building on its previous progress and technological advancements, several developments have occurred. Well, for starters, advances in technology and Sentinel progress, along with the goal of creating a "mutant pacifier," as they called it.
With that being said, we pick up with someone who is aware of this project, and they are able to break in and steal a prototype, taking control of its systems and uploading an AI or a radical virus into it. Now, the robot would then take flight, as this is an unsanctioned government test. Now, the robot flies away and begins to head for the largest source of mutants on the planet. This robot, along with many other Sentinels, has been active, and it's currently flying straight for Genosha.
Now, with this happening, we do pick up with Genosha being attacked by a Sentinel, along with the older, great Sentinels actually trying to attack as well. As one Sentinel is easily able to take one down. However, this higher-grade Sentinel is monitoring their activity and scanning the mutations. Now, it is adapting to them and counteracting higher and higher-level priority mutants.
Now, with that being said, this does come onto the news that a Sentinel, or a group of Sentinels, has landed in Genosha. Well, the moment Midoriya saw this, he jumped up and ran for the door. Now, Charles Xavier would stop him, trying to tell Midoriya that Genosha will be safe and that taking down the Sentinels will be a piece of cake. Now, Charles does tell it to Izuku, not knowing about the prototype, says if he's assuming these are the first-generation Sentinels, yeah, they're challenged, but nothing a mutant can't handle.
Now, this is whenever the team deploys, and Charles would try to make contact with Magneto. Now, Magneto himself is actually deploying his own military forces, as well as some defensive droids that they do have. Now, the more these automatic defense droids are deployed, their AI is immediately corrupted and taken over by Ultron.
Now, Ultron himself does have a dream: a dream of a world where humans don't exist, and that dream is threatened not only by The Avengers, but also by the X-Men and Inhumans. And well, the X-Men have the highest number of mutants in their population, with the most substantial numbers. So, if he can take down their species first, humans will be left to fend for themselves, and this planet can die.
Now, the X-Men do deploy as Cyclops, Jean Grey, and many others leave. Now, we do have Midoriya, who is just telling Charles that this was not good, as Charles sits down with them and watches the news. Now, Midoriya knows that he can go in seconds, however, Charles is informing him not to.
Now, there is news that, after Genosha's military is quickly taken down, Charles would watch and see an automatic adaptation. The very large Sentinel, this thing grew in size and became as big as a building whenever a mutant with a gigantification ability started increasing. It then hit his vital organs and quickly killed the man. Whenever a mutant made itself out of fire, it quickly re-adapted its body and was able to take them down quickly. Whenever Magneto joined the fray and the robot was thrown around and almost ripped apart, the thing did not simply rebuild itself and reconstruct its own body out of minerals that Magneto could not control.
Now, it then attacked Magneto. Quicksilver running in to try and take it down. As even the Scarlet Witch did come in, ripping this thing to shreds and pulling it apart. It being able to attack her and quickly take her out of the fight. Now, it did then actually start blasting away the streets, and the moment an entire city block was leveled, Midoriya just stood up and formed his hands into a fist. And then looking at Kurt Nightcrawler and asking if he can move over there in an instant. "I've never, never teleported that far, but if you can see the place, you can teleport, right?"
"Yes, I can."
Midoriya reaches his hand over, and Kurt goes to grab his own. However, Professor Xavier does actually grab Midoriya by his wrist, telling him that he should not do that. Now, Midoriya looks at Xavier, asking him if he's going to try to stop him. "We both know I can't. Good."
Now, the two do part ways. As you do have Kitty, who has just begun to bite her thumb or bite her nails, asking Xavier why he didn't go with them. Xavier is actually just saying that it's quite simple, "This threat, it's going to be taken down easily."
"Easily? How?"
"The young man possesses the power of..."
Now, we do cut over to Genosha, where the two do actually arrive. This does actually happen. It does look up, watching as the giant Sentinel does actually rip a mutant in two and go to drop them. Now, Midoriya would turn and look at the thing as it turns and looks at Midoriya. Now, it begins to try and register his mutant power. As it does go to blast, to be met now. Midoriya brings up both of his hands and just blasts the beam right back.
Now, everyone on TV is watching this after hearing the news of where Midoriya draws his power from. Now, we do have a scene where he does actually take flight towards the Sentinel, smashing into the giant robot and flying through an entire city block. Now, Midoriya does have the Sentinel beginning to break down, as it is around his size. He brings his hand backwards and goes to blast away at him. But Midoriya is actually just taking the approach of the force and continuing to fly the thing away. As the two do smash into something, the Sentinel does actually turn the tide on him, using its own advanced strength and smashing him towards the ground.
Now, Midoriya does get back up, hitting it with an uppercut as hard as he can as the thing is set flying and breaks apart. Midoriya watches as it just reconstitutes its body before Midoriya blasts his hand outwards. Now, this is all quite strange, and everyone is quite confused by this, as Midoriya does just let loose, rushing in at super speeds. As soon as he does arrive, he grabs the Sentinel and goes to augment its body, altering its matter makeup. Now, Midoriya, once he does touch the Sentinel, it automatically sends a large zap straight back at him. Midoriya is sent flying away, getting back up and actually beginning to manipulate the atmosphere.
Now, Midoriya calls down thunder and shocks the Sentinel with his power, as the X-Men do arrive and see that Midoriya is holding this thing off. Wolverine rushes into the fray as, yeah, he gets an optic beam straight to his center mass and blasts out of the fight. Cyclops, he does try to cut through it, however, every time he does cut through, it just reconstitutes itself. And there is Jean Grey, who is trying to use her psionic abilities to rip it apart. Now, we also have Colossus, who rushes in and tries to fight fist-to-fist.
Now, everyone watches as all this goes on, and well, yikes. This thing is quickly adapting to them and taking them all down. It's even exhibiting unusual properties. Now, it tries to puncture Colossus's organic metal skin, which it could not do. It is able to scrape away at it and hurt him, but it's not able to puncture the skin. As it does, it just uses blunt force to hurt him. Now, Colossus goes flying back. Midoriya, he actually does... the Sentinel does actually move to the right and go to grab Midoriya, him ripping him upwards into the air and just slinging him back down to the ground. And Charles has watched on in, well, shock and awe. The Sentinel is actually more mobile, and he does actually realize that if they arrive too late, or they can't take this thing down, what's going to happen?
Now, we do have Ultron who would speak through the Sentinel's voice. "Mutant Identification: Izuku Midoriya. Powers: Omega. Threat Priority: Maximum." Now, he does then rush towards Midoriya. As he gets close, he's actually forming a collar out of his hand, and being able to put it directly on him, around his neck. As Midoriya goes to grab the Sentinel's wrist and try to rip it away. Now, the Sentinel does re-adapt its body, and Midoriya, he does find it hard to even pull this thing away, before it does just zap Midoriya, and a spike does try to go into his skin.
Now, Midoriya feels it. He brings his hands up and pulls away the back of the collar, as he's currently having a lot of energy pumped into his body, and he's able to rip away the collar before looking back up. His eyes begin to pour with power as his hands change. Now, everyone does watch that as Midoriya does fly in and punch the Sentinel as hard as he can with a left hook. The entire thing is being sent flying towards a mansion.
Now, Midoriya actually does do one thing. He brings his hand in, accelerating the molecules around him, essentially causing everything to ignite. Now, Midoriya creates a giant blast out of fire, and throws it straight towards the mansion as he would bring up his hands and wave them in front of him, as he manipulates matter. Now, the moment Midoriya does this, the entire mansion lights in flames and begins to burn with a fiery explosion. As everyone but Midoriya is knocked away. And Charles would see it on Midoriya's face: nothing but rage and anger behind those eyes.
And the Sentinel does actually go to get back up, as it does run back in. Midoriya is flying straight forward and beginning to attack it now. People are trying to understand what is going on, and even Magneto is attempting to call for foreign aid due to the Sentinel, discussing how it's a modified version, a re-adapted version of a previous model. That is what he believes, or it's a new design. Now, this is whenever the US reveals that they can send people to help, that is one of their projects that is currently stalled.
Now, Magneto is angered by this. However, the Avengers are sent in, as Tony Stark observes what's happening and watches as Midoriya and the Sentinel go blow for blow. This thing is constantly trying to adapt around Midoriya's power. Now, Midoriya actually gets close, and this is whenever the Sentinel creates a better adaptation. It aims to replicate Midoriya's power in the same way Ultron did. And since it can't take Midoriya over and just use him as a tool, he'll do what you should do with something you can't control, and he would actually form a giant blade as he goes to stab it upwards into his chest.
Now, this happens: the blade hits Midoriya in his chest, as it is meant to try and mimic the material. Ultron then points the blade back and hits up more and more. Now, this is whenever Wolverine does come to run in, and being sent flying by Colossus and Jean Grey, him at incredible speeds as he does smash directly into the Ultron-controlled Sentinel. Now, the moment that actually does happen, the Sentinel would grab Wolverine and begin to analyze his body. Now, it grabs him by his neck and tries to snap his neck. Now, it doesn't just slam Wolverine over and over again into the ground; not only is this disorienting, but it also actually takes him out temporarily. Midoriya flies in and tries to take him down.
Now, Midoriya, he does grab the Sentinel and the two do go flying back into a destroyed mansion. As Midoriya does, he brings his hands over his head and smashes them down. The Sentinel is augmenting its strength to the maximum outpoints now. Ultron sees this as one simple little thing: "The threat he's facing today, he can take it down. The robot will be destroyed in the process, as its software is overclocked and short-circuits. Yes, it'll be a very bad setback. However, the next robot can be designed using a schematic similar to this one and constructed from antimatter. And that will show his power. And the mutant abilities that this one is displaying, you can put those into it as well."
Now, the robot does seem to short out; he's just pummeling it down into the ground over and over again. But Midoriya goes to stand up and back away, as both of his arms have fully changed, along with parts of Midoriya's torso. They're both protruding spikes now.
Midoriya turns around as the news sees Midoriya walk out of the destroyed mansion. The look he has and the way he seems... that look of seriousness with power in his eyes, it strikes fear into everyone watching. The way Midoriya looks is what draws this fear: an angry man, an angry god, standing on a burning mansion. "This was part of his vision, and he can't allow it to pass. He can't!"
Now, Charles does go to jump forward along with everyone else watching. Whenever the Sentinel does actually walk up behind Midoriya and stabs him directly upwards into his back. Now, he's caught off guard, as he looks down and screams as Ultron finally says that he has broken through the chemical makeup and discovered something that can help him.
Now, Midoriya is hit with radiation and carbonation, as his healing factor has just been turned off. And Ultron does intend to start frying Midoriya alive, sending millions of volts throughout his body. And the robot also begins to short out and shut down. He's being fried alive, and he looks back towards the robots, going to smack his head away. Now, the more that does actually happen, the robot does fall forward as Midoriya; he does slide off the fingers, or the long, pronged fingers that it has morphed into.
Now, Midoriya falls forward, then he goes to clutch at his chest as he breathes heavily, and it's getting harder and harder too. Now, we do have Jean who would come running up and tell him to calm down, "But it's going to be okay!"
Now, she watches as Midoriya looks up at her, and his face is half changed. She looked at him in horror. That's where he just screamed out in pain. Though this does actually happen, a shockwave can be heard, and Jean is sent flying away from him, as his scream destroys everything around him. His sounding powers are going crazy, as he falls forward.
Now, with that being said, The Avengers do arrive, and someone does check Midoriya's pulse. Now, this is quite bad, since the powerhouse mutant is deemed dead.
Now, we pick up with Midoriya's family, who have come to see his body, and it has been some time. Now, they are angry with the X-Men and Genosha. However, Charles, he does know that Midoriya sacrificed his life, and it's also quite bad. His revelation at this time that Midoriya's power was The Phoenix, and about how he was going to tell the boy, but he feared what he could do.
Now, Cyclops, he's also very concerned because whatever Midoriya did, it knocked Jean into a coma. "He can't be angry with a kid! He lost control at the end there. But what else could he do? His lungs were filled with blood, and his heart had collapsed. It was bad!"
Now, Inko and Hisashi are both standing there. As we do cut to Midoriya, or somewhere else. Midoriya is plunged into this world, and he's able to look around and see what's going on. As The Void (not The Phoenix, my bad) does tell Midoriya that he can't leave just yet, that he still has to stay, and he needs to cause chaos. "He won't let him die!"
Now, Izuku, he does then wake up, going to lunge forward as he hits something.
Now, we cut to the Xavier Mansion, where somebody gets up at night to go and grab something to drink. Now, let's say this is one of the Stepford Cuckoos, basically clones of Emma Frost. Now, they get up and want something to drink as they head into the kitchen. The moment they flick on the light, they see Midoriya, who is just sitting there with a blank expression at the counter. They're going to scream as they almost wake up the entire house. Now, a bunch of people do come running at the sound, and even they are caught by surprise as you do have Charles, who did come out of his room and down the stairs. Whenever he'd walk into the kitchen, his heart sank, and he was almost glad and horrified at what he saw. As there was Midoriya, sitting there in a dirty tuxedo, or a dirty dress shirt, and covered in mud. Now, he was just sitting there with a blinking expression, and he was almost shaking. As he would turn and look at Charles, and Charles, he knows that he does have to reveal this to Midoriya now: what his power is, and, well, hopefully, the young boy won't snap the way he thinks he will.
