*Noah's POV*
Felix stares at Scarlett's phone in my hand like it's a snake about to bite him.
"That's impossible," he whispers.
"The red case should have been your first clue. She always uses red cases for her work phones."
"But you're just a delivery guy!"
"And she's a successful lawyer. Yet here we are."
Felix's breathing becomes shallow. Twenty-six thousand dollars. Gone. Just to prove a point that backfired spectacularly.
"This can't be happening."
"Oh, it's happening."
I unlock Scarlett's phone with my thumb. The fingerprint reader accepts it immediately.
"She programmed my print into her security settings. That's what trust looks like, Felix."
His eyes widen as the phone opens to reveal her home screen. Her wallpaper is a photo of us together from last weekend.
"See that picture? That's us at Central Park. She took it herself."
Felix slumps back in his chair like someone punched him in the stomach.
"I don't understand. How can she be with someone like you?"
