The lady started saying " Girl,you are awake! This is mung bean porridge my daughter in-law prepared"
"You are weak now,so you should drink more" the lady said
Then seeing I didn't say anything she began again " Girl this porridge is very tasty you shouldn't dislike it " she frowned a little at the end
That's when it dawn on, me so I quickly replied " Thank you madam, I will drink the porridge right now" I said picking it up with both hands bring it to my mouth,tasted it and couldn't help but tell myself this porridge is really....While drinking it, I couldn't let my face show any expression.
" The old lady stood there watching me as I finish drinking it till the bowl was empty and it seems this body i was reborn into was really starving"...I thought
Cough cough... " Madam thank you for the porridge it's very satisfying " I said while smiling with gratitude.
Then kept the bowl on the small old wooden table by the side of the bed.
Then I noticed she took it but continued to look at my face,while I was wondering how to initiate a conversation.
So I began " Well Madam,thank you....." As I was talking the old lady with a bewildered expression said while waving her hands in the air
" Oh no no girl call me old lady Zhou" she said and continued " By yes Educated Youth, you passed out near our farm land, you should take care of your body well" said with a worried expression on her face
