Ally miller sits, in a flowery loose shirt, and a skirt. As she sits bare foot in the meeting room. "So... we are here to discuss... Ally's oddity in the group, and why we find her powers unsettling." Captain states. "Beyond this, the goal is simple. Resolve this now." There is a quite, as Thor shakes his head, not seeing the point in this. "I don't get your midgardian worries. Ally is within her rights, and duties to Mr. Fox, and his realm. Furthermore, his realm is mercyful compared to various realms i have seen." Banner sighs "Well... i personally find it scary because she disapears pepole into another dimention, and forces them to transform into what... is practiclly another species." Thor defends her, frowning "Yes? The result is nearly the same as killing, what of it?" Tony sighs "I get where you are coming from thor, but... i never got fully cleared on what inversion, and being a shadow fox even is. In my conversations with Mr. Fox i focused more on... uh dimensional, and energy parameters of fox matter, and how it thinks, and is controlled. Like... what does becoming a shadow fox do to a person? Nothing good clearly." Ally shakes her head, slightly insulted. "I will explain to you the basics. The realm was formed by Mr. Fox long ago with a set of ideals. These ideals became habit for the realm, and crystalized into its behavyour now. One of these... rules, is quite simply that it tries to invert your soul. This process is not instant, hell... it can take days, weeks, or even never happen depending on your soul, and mind. But how it works is realm energy seaps in. It needs your mental barriers down, and resistances to its influence low to work. But if it builds up enough, it will attempt inversion."
She sighs "Inversion... is harder to define. But basicly it comes from his philosphy. A perfectly transparent actor can't hide good or bad, as there truth will be easy to see to all, including themselves. It relies on the whole idea that all imorality is based on what he calls a blindness. Basicly a disacociation, a lost concept, or a incapacity to think about a idea. But he also clarified once that... well not all blindness causes imorality. Its a edge case. When blindness is placed just right, or forced into place. Blindness can be subconchess, conchess, or even situational. Its information dynamics. But... baicly, inversion is cheating, and forcing a soul, and brain to be this... perfectly transparent actor. To see past all blindness... and... feel everything that results from that. It does not show evil... it exposes truth, and truth... as it seems given all the shadow foxes i talked to personally, alwase makes evil visible with enougth logic." There is a quite. Natasha ask quitely "Who... could survive that?" Thor says grimly "A trial by fire then... thou a very... hard one. I would personally not go thru it... thou compared to death..."
She continues "Its called inversion simply because it makes a person act... kinda inside out. Mr. Fox once said the name was due to the fact it was some... topological transformation of the soul state? I don't know... some of his talks go over my head. But... i know what i see. He has several areas for new shadow foxes. Shadow foxes are not only inversion. There is other laws as well that define them, like the fox form, the fact the more mentally unstable they are, the more animalistic they are, and such. But... inversion is the main thing. I... uh... kinda fluxuate with... inversion. When i... uh... control with raw emotions... i kinda... half invert, so yeah. But Karlen, and all shadow foxes you have seen... are the ones that make it out the other side." Cap asks "What... are they um... like?" She sighs, and smiles "Karlen... at least... is very sweet... honest... he... well he never hides what he feels, or thinks about me. A shadow fox can still lie, but if they do... it means one thing... they decided based only on truth its best. Furthermore, they only know so much, they still have that form of blindness, raw conceptual blindness. But... Karlen... before he is what you see now... was a fucked up chinese mafia boss... Thou... i will be honest, it took him 4 years to be able to speak, and 3 years to lower his anxiety to... more socal levels. He was a shadow fox for 18 years before he forgave Mr. Fox, and saw his side. Becuase... he honestly saw how horrible a person he was... and thought Mr. Fox... well... considered Mr. Fox as his savyor, as he would have kept being..." She shivers visibly "Horrible... i uh... asked him for details once... he described too honestly... its... yeah. You don't want to know. He, and... well even I beleve without Mr. Fox, no honest therapy on earth could have made him good."
She shakes her head deeply. Lays her arms on her legs. "Yet... Karlen i know now. Is nothing like how he describes his past self. He constantly fears... he is not human. He misses a human body. He finds me wonderful... and alwase knows how to chear me up, or just make me laugth. He... constantly is afraid... that he will be linked back to what he past was, and despises his past self." She blushes thinking of him. Then shakes her head "Sorry... but yeah... that... uh... yeah. I should mention... that this system is not... locked-locked. Mr. Fox said it to me himself... the realm is itself in a state of... well inversion. If data is provided... it must be processed without blindness. Mr. Fox himself told me, he wishes he could fully invert sometimes, and does his best to follow his own ideals. But as the tether, the realm can't force inversion, as it does not have full jurisdiction over there soul yet. Beyond that... he said... if a person is perfectly good... and they invert... they will not feel a shred of pain. Mr. Fox alwase feels horrible when inversion fails, and a persons soul tears itself apart, and dies. But... its surprisingly rare. I looked at his logs myself. Its because he has all kinds of facilities, with trained shadow foxes at the ready... there... for when new shadow foxes arrive. I think they rarely die, because quite simply... they are not alone."
Its quite for several minutes. Before Tony sighs deeply. Then asks quitely "What is the sucsess rate? You said he kept logs?" She nods "Only 1 in 120 or so die. But recently due to the mass captures of individuals by me, its incressed to 1 in 80. Normally Mr. Fox only brings in one new person once every 5 to 6 months, and only the worse of the worse. Its why Mr. Fox often lets out, or never targets anyone with out... very... uh... serious immorality." Brunce... speaks "What happens to there identity? Do they... lose themselves?" She shakes her head "Not entirely. Just the bad parts, and those... well... confined to human life, that can't transfer to fox life. They never forget, they alwase mourn... but... there is alwase something new to do. Because i will be honest..." She looks with a inedulous face "They are fucking creative, i once played a experance made by a group of foxes, where there was over-... sorry... uh. But yeah, they create lots of things there, are imortal, only need to sleep 3 hours a day, and can go to earth, and watch stuff in the real world to learn, work for Mr. Fox, or just do there own thing in a infinite lucid dream. So... Yeah. I think thats the best i can do... i... was kinda avoiding the topic i will be honest."
Stark nods, Cap sits staring, thinking deeply. Natasha, seems unsettled, scared. Barton just quite, unsure. Banner, kinda horrified. Thor, slightly concerned, but confident. As Thor says "I see... cancel my request to visit the fox realm. I rather not risk that upon me... i have too long a life, and inversion would hurt alot more for a person as long lived as me. But... still... its better then midgards current systems, as long as Mr. Fox and you leaves it for those that need it." Ally chuckles dryly "Yeah, why do you think he added me as a tether? Also... Mr. Fox dreams of a world where culture alone causes inversion... not invervention." Thor nods with respect. Captain asks quietly "Ally... when you bring someone to the realm... does Mr. Fox give them a fair chance out? Out of being inverted?" She nods "Of course he does. If they don't flash with light, and disapear, it means he looked into there soul, with the capacties of the realm, and decided... they don't need inversion. Reality can do the inverting. Furthermore... Mr. Fox often needs to purposfully deliver a tramatic event in order for inversion to occur, he needs to get them in a too personal song, scare them, make them lower there guard. Then... inversion will occur. Without his invervention... someone like you Cap... could stay in there for weeks, or months without issues." Cap is quite, then sighs deeply. "So... becoming a shadow fox is a choice then." Bruce looks at Cap confused. Cap notices and says "Its simple... they already decided before they enter the realm to do horrible things. Mr. Fox notices those who can't change thru normal means... and makes them improve... i guess they decided long before they entered to follow this path. They can still decide, when in the realm as well. Plus... Fox uses intervention for it... so its not a easy, and fast cocnuqence to occur, but something to be decided on, by Mr. Fox, and by the person... well." Captain shakes his head. "I personally give my approval for its use on battlefields. But in terms of... practicatlies, i still see issues, like them seeing a cartoon realm, and you, and telling others about it. Or... simply its capacity."
Ally looks at Cap, and nods "Yes... there are several practical limits. Like how my mass transports of individuals... well... they gave Mr. Fox a hell of a lot more work then his usual pace, and all his employeed shadow foxes." Stark nods, a conversation he can consider better. "Yes... how much is his capacity." She says "One sec, i can ask Karlen, he was Mr. Fox's second in command for a while." She humms brefifly a short tune. Before she looks at a wall. "Karlen, how many can the fox realm handle? Like... how many new shadow foxes?..." She is quite for a while, lissening to something invisible attentively. Until she says "He says that each shadow fox takes years, to months of work to stablize enougth to live, or work in the fox realm safly. But... generally, they can at most handle 480 or so at once, and... i... am already kinda pushing it." She frowns. "So, even if its a option... i don't think we can afford to use shadow fox transformation, or personal capture as a option for large numbers of oponents. Thou Karlen did say that Mr. Fox has total control of where shadow foxes can go... so he can just lock them up some place. But he refuses to do so. Honestly, fox realm infastructure is designed for 1 new person every 6 or 5 weeks... not 30 in a hour."
Banner asks "Why has he not... scaled it?" Ally says "Simple... Mr. Fox does not like inversion... his kits, the children he saves from abusers in his every 5 too 6 week interventions is what its main goal is. Education. Education of seeds to kick start a new era, make a culture where forced inversion is not required. Where culture alone creates better pepole. I am... well kinda a experimental station of the realm. Something to be there to stop the world from blowing up, not capture bad pepole, and reform them. At least... thats what he wants." Barton says "Thats a issue... so don't use that ability." She nods "I... well i used it last time to impress you i guess." Barton shakes his head "Thats dumb. These are pepoles lives, Mr. Fox's realm, and earth... don't be dumb with this. Cap, i personally recomend we don't allow her to bring anyone into the dimention... unless nessesary. Sure... killing is worse, but killing, or pushing our responsiblities onto another dimention... i don't know." Cap thinks... nods. "Yes... i think your other capacities like matter blocking, shadow manifestation, fox matter manipulation, and fox realm portals are of more use, then shadow fox swarms." She nods, before saying "Thou, shadow fox swarms can intimidate, or be used to simply drag large objects around." Stark nods "Yeah... besides that will be more fun in a fight. That fight was rather boring with Mr. Fox, and you handling a big part of it all."
Thor sighs "Yes, Barton is quite right. I guess your realm is not capable of handling so many. So we must use it with respect." Then Ally turns suddenly at a spot on the wall, and sighs, shaking her head visibly at something Karlen said, that they can't hear. As she stops. Natasha is quite, but says "Yeah, we need to be careful, don't want to strain our new relationship with the overlord of a sovereign realm." Ally comments "Uh... technically i am equal to him in... position." Natasha shakes her head "Not in experience, or capacity, or responsibility. Anyway... Cap. Anything else?" Cap nods "Well... that's enough for now. Meeting over."
