Chapter 18 - Chapter 18 Unknown

"Bang!"

Sophia almost slammed the car door, her Christian Louboutin high heels knocking on the sidewalk. She rushed to Michael and Vivian Song, her chest heaving with anger: "Michael! How could you be with her?!"

Vivian raised her eyebrows, crossed her arms, and looked at Sophia with interest - this was the first time she saw her mortal enemy so out of control. Michael stopped, the ease on his face disappeared, and only alienation remained: "Who I am with, does it matter to you? Sophia, we are divorced."

The three words "divorced" extinguished Sophia's anger like ice water, but made her embarrassed. Yes, they had no relationship for a long time. But watching Michael and Vivian chatting and laughing, she couldn't suppress the nameless anger in her heart.

Michael stopped looking at her and smiled at Vivian, "Vivian, we had a great time today. Let's meet again another day."

"Any time." Vivian raised her eyebrows at him. Michael walked straight past Sofia without even a glance at her.

"Michael!" Sofia chased him and stopped in front of him, trying to make her tone sound sincere, "I just met Sebastian Bo at the dinner party - the chief trader of Tianqiao Fund and a top player in the foreign exchange market!"

Michael stopped and waited for her to continue expressionlessly.

"Sebastian analyzed the situation in Goose Country," Sophia said anxiously, "He judged that Goose Dollar would fall by at least 35%, and Skybridge Fund is ready to short 500 million US dollars! They are professionals! You were just lucky last time, the foreign exchange risk is too high, withdraw your funds quickly!"

After listening, Michael suddenly laughed softly, with a hint of sarcasm: "Sebastian? Who is he? What does it have to do with me?"

After that, he walked around Sophia and continued to move forward. "You!" Sophia was so angry that she trembled, and the words "What does it have to do with me" were like a slap in her face. She looked at Michael's back and finally could only stomp her feet and turn around.

Vivian saw everything and felt that Michael was more interesting than she had imagined. She got in the car and sent a WeChat message to her assistant: "Alex, help me go long 1 million Goose Dollars."

Back in the townhouse on the Upper East Side, Elena and Mark were excitedly discussing something. "Mom, we have to increase the stakes!" Mark rubbed his hands, "Sebastian said that this wave of short-selling profits will at least double!"

"I know!" Elena patted him, "Doesn't your sister's company still have money in the account? Wait until she comes back..."

At this time, Sophia pushed the door open with an ugly look. The excitement of the mother and son froze instantly. "Sophia? Where is Wang Shao?" Elena frowned, "Didn't I ask him to take you there?"

Mark also complained: "Sister! Mom asked you to stay with Alexander for a while, why did you come back by yourself?"

Sophia ignored her and walked straight in. Elena stopped her and put on an excited expression: "Just to tell you, Mark and I are going to follow Sebastian to short the goose coin! Take out the working capital of your company, and we will make a lot of money!"

Short the goose coin? Sophia thought of Michael's determination to go long, and thought of Sebastian's analysis, and was annoyed: "I don't understand, and I won't do it. You play with your own money, don't try to target the company."

After saying that, she ignored the surprised eyes of Elena and Mark behind her and slammed the bedroom door. In the living room, Elena slammed the sofa in anger: "She is rebellious! She doesn't care about Wang Shao, but dares to control us!" Mark took out his mobile phone and began to calculate how much money he could raise to follow the investment - in his opinion, Sebastian's judgment would never be wrong.
