My scenery changed back to the lab but this time most of the glass cases were cleared off of magical creatures, and the number of men in black robes seemed to have increased.
"Welcome back your highness prince Arthur" they stood juxtaposed and bowed deeply. "Greetings great lord Asura, king of the underworld"
"Very good" lord Asura praised sounding very pleased. Well as pleased as his hoarse voice could sound.
"I'm glad you feel—" the second prince was cut short. Literally.
He was cut into half, his upper body in the hands of lord Asura being consumed.
"Hah~" lord Asura sighed before licking his lips.
Everyone was perfectly still, no sound was uttered. It was so silent that if a pin was to drop, it's echo would be heard throughout the room.
The evil Lord Asura gazed at the people in black robes who were barely moving with a predatory glint in his eyes.
The shock on their faces suddenly morphed into fear and all hell broke loose.
In the blink of an eye, the king of the underworld appeared in front of the black robed men like the grim reaper after their souls.
What happened after was a massacre.
He moved quickly from one man to another consuming each one more grotesque than the last.
Their screams showed just how terrified they were each trying to run for their lives.
In a matter of minutes the once loud room became quiet again.
I could feel my body shaking in fear and disgust. Thankfully I remained invisible to him.
I took my eyes away from the carnage afraid I would throw up and my gaze fell on the one responsible for it all before it widened into saucers.
His body was covered in blood, his muscles were taut with tension. He stood there seeming as though he was not just on a rampage a second ago.
That was not what made me surprised though, it was his appearance. His once long hair was now shorter;the color of ashes, his eyes were a deep blue and a sharp jaw.
I had to admit, he was very attractive. If one removes the cold face and bloodthirsty eyes, I would be sure he would have no problem getting the women's attention.
He walked to he door that led out of this place and before I knew it he was already gone. From in his eyes he was far drum satiated.

I turned to run after him bent on catching up but by the time I was out of the underground lab, the palace was already in a state of chaos.
There was blood everywhere, pieces of human parts littered the floor, it was practically a blood bath. The metallic smell so strong I could still smell it even when I left it far behind me.
Every once in a while I came across a bloodied body part, the rest of the body no where in sight.
Lord Asura probably killed and consumed anyone he came across, maids, pages, guards. The amount was numerous.
There was a loud 'crash' followed by a 'thud' from somewhere in the palace. I followed the sound and at the throne room.
There in the middle i found the king of Alvira in a battle with the king of the underworld, lord Asura.
There were other knights and guards present but most of which were either severely injured or dead.
Their blood was spilt on the carpet turned it from a light shade to a darker shade which was a sharp contrast to the golden tiles.
My eyes found it's way back to the two who ere fighting to the death. The battle was fierce both of them delivering vicious blows after blow but I noticed the king's movement faltering. He was no match for the king of the underworld, lord Asura's aggression especially when he does not specialize in close combat.
I was surprised he could even hold his own. But that won't last forever.
