'Yang Tie' was a novice in the gambling industry. He read a little about it before coming here but still he knew nothing. So first he decided to watch a little and learn more about it before going to stake money.
He allowed the beautiful receptionist to lead the way, trusting that he might learn something from her. She guided him to a gambling board set near one of the corners. A crowd had gathered there—many seated, deeply engrossed in guessing games and placing their bets.
"Sir, do you like to bet?" beautiful receptionist asked.
"No! I want to watch first. Can I do that?" 'Yang Tie' calmly asked.
"Yes! If you need anything, just call me," the beautiful receptionist replied politely. "Now, if you'll excuse me."
"Wait! Can you explain the rules?" 'Yang Tie' decided to watch and calmly sat down to watch the gambling closely so that he could learn first.
"Yes!"
The rules of the game were simple. There were various types, each differing in difficulty. The harder the game, the higher the risk—and the greater the reward.
Yang Tie was placed in the lowest-risk area, as it was his first time at the Royal Casino. The game in front of him was deceptively simple.
Six dice were rolled inside a sealed box by a mechanical device. Before the box was opened, players had to predict whether the majority of the dice showed small numbers (1 to 3) or big (4 to 6).
If you guessed correctly, your wager would double. If not, you lost everything. Crucially, bets could only be placed before the box was opened—and once placed, they were final.
There was no room for hesitation. Backing out after placing a bet meant paying a fine more than double your stake. The Royal Casino, with its vast influence and power, made sure of that.
A game master was at the opposite end of the gambling board. He controls this given board and the game. He is in charge overall of this gable.
"Welcome, fellow gentlemen!"" Now let's begin the show" the game master politely greeted the betters, as customers are the gods for the Casino.
Game master started the machine.
*drrr* The six dice were rotated on the machine, and after some time it came to a stop.
But dice number's were visible.
"start the bid"
"2000$ chips on small"
"500$ chips on big"
"2000$ chips on small"
…
…
…
People were vigorously betting the chips.
After some time
"ok! it's call time. The betting time was over, and now it was time for results.
'Yang Tie' opened his 'Electric Eyes' to see what was inside.
"Big" 'Yang Tie' got the result of the bet. It was 'big'.
And the box was opened.
"ohhh!!! I lost!"
"Yeah!!! I won!"
Those who bet on big wins and had happiness, and those who had bet on small had lost and had bitterness on their face.
'Yang Tie' waited for a few more turns and decided to bet now.
"Is there any minimum limit?" 'Yang Tie' asked.
"There is no minimum limit," the beautiful receptionist replied.
"ok!" and 'Yang Tie' went to bet, and the beautiful woman left since he now knew the rules.
The game master again started the machine.
"10000$"
"19000$"
….
….
….
People continued to bet.
'Yang Tie' placed his hand front. "I would like to bet 100$ chip on small". He had already seen the result so he decided to bet on that, but he decided to not use all chips for safety.
"ha-ha! Where did this poor kid come from?" everyone was surprised. Such low betting was never seen in history.
Before the results were revealed, a group of wealthy-looking individuals approached the table where Yang Tie was seated.
They were clearly upper-class—dressed in sharp suits, speaking loudly, and carrying themselves with arrogance. One of them sneered and barked,
"Oi! Get these nobodies out of here!"
Without warning, he fired a shot into the air—startling everyone at the table.
Anger rippled through the crowd."Who the hell do you think you are? Can't you see we're in the middle of a game?" someone snapped back.
Some of the lower-class players, intimidated, quietly slipped away. But not everyone backed down. A few of the upper-class spectators who had been playing peacefully grew visibly irritated. The tension between the elite factions was rising fast.
"Ning? Is it Ning alliance?" one of the high-class people spoke.
"yes! Who do you think it was?" the rich kid arrogantly spoke.
"Yes, yes!" one of the high-class players said quickly. "We'll leave now. Our respects to you, Lady Ning."
With that, the group quietly exited, not daring to cause further trouble.
The Ning Alliance was no ordinary name—it was one of the most powerful and mysterious forces in the region. Even the most arrogant of elites knew better than to provoke them.
'Yang Tie' who was there sitting silently, watched this curiously. These people came here and made a ruckus, and 'Royal Casino' did nothing?
The game continued calmly, as if nothing had happened. Incidents like this were fairly common here. As long as no one got hurt, the Royal Casino rarely intervened.
Besides, the wealthy people who left had left behind their chips—so, in the casino's eyes, everything was still in order.
"oi why didn't you scram?" the rich kid spoke to 'Yang Tie'.
Due to reciting of 'Mind Clearing Chant' 'Yang Tie' mind has become a little mature and so he did not feel feared in the presence of these high-class people. He has also got little tolerance for fear and has high patience. his confidence also got stronger. and he also decided to change. why should he fear the strong? he even almost died in the hands of a most wanted criminal. so, what's this? just a bunch of arrogant rich kids. that's all
"Can't you see there are plenty of empty seats around?" Yang Tie replied calmly, without even looking up. "Why not sit there?"
The rich young man froze, his face turning red with embarrassment. A murmur ran through his group.
"You... scum!" he snapped, his voice rising with fury.
He had just been humiliated by a nobody—someone clearly from a lower class—and in front of his friends, no less. His pride burned hotter than ever.
*bam*
The rich kid wanted to throw out 'Yang Tie', but 'Yang Tie' skillfully dodged using his 'Electric Eyes', and due to that, the rich kid's palm hit the table.
"Ahh!" the rich kid cried out.
"You!!" The game master watched silently, making no move to intervene.
He knew all too well that these wealthy players had powerful backing. Though the Royal Casino itself boasted immense influence, they were currently operating outside Royal City and needed to exercise some restraint. Without tolerance, their business would suffer.
As for Yang Tie, the game master saw through the surface—he could tell the young man was poor, but possessed sharp discernment and talent. That earned him some leeway.
For now, the game master chose to stay silent. But if things escalated, he could always give the order to—
"Stop!" a crisp and sweet voice resounded in the ear of 'Yang Tie'. Not only to him but to everyone. A gorgeous lady came in front of 'Yang Tie'.
"Hello? Can I sit here?" the lady spoke in a mesmerizing tone with an enchanting smile. The tone nearly plucked the soul of 'Yang Tie' but due to his reciting of 'Mind Clearing Chant', his mind had become strong, and also his heart. Still, he got mesmerized by her sweet tone and gorgeous face.
She was one of the most beautiful lady he has ever seen. Her beauty could is almost or slightly greater than 'Song Ning' and 'Lan'.
"of course" 'Yang Tie' subconsciously replied.
The gorgeous lady took a seat beside Yang Tie. A tantalizing scent drifted into his nose, delicate yet intoxicating, pulling him almost effortlessly into a dreamlike haze.
Despite the spell it cast, he barely managed to keep his composure.
"Hmm?" The gorgeous lady's eyes narrowed slightly, intrigued.
Yang Tie's gaze was crystal clear—completely free of lust or any impure thoughts. Unlike the others, his eyes held only genuine admiration for her beauty, pure and untainted.
His gentle smile carried a warmth that unexpectedly soothed her heart.
This was her first time seeing such a pure man.
Then the game master spoke. "better, 'Yang Tie' has won. Your 100$ chip became 200$. Congrats," game master spoke politely.
"200$?"
The rich kids burst into laughter."Hahaha!""Pfft!"
But this was only the beginning—Yang Tie's first victory in the game.
To be continued...
