'What is it that scares you darling? I can sense it in your sad little soul?' Callista was sharp with her words as if trying to intentionally anger Seryn. She knew that it would be a waste of time should she refute Callista's words. "My own free will. With the recent acquisition of consciousness I am scared of falling into slavery."
Callista let out a chuckle, amused with her words akin to a parent heeding their child. "What makes you think that you'll lose your will when you're his pet?" Of course she knew the answer to the question however she wanted to hear it from her.
"The way you use dehumanizing words so casually is it a shock that I'm so hesitant. Besides so far he's been rather taunting." Her tone somewhat mousey as she kept on with her slaughter.
Her target skill locking onto new targets that met their end in a matter of minutes. However her reign of terror was brought to a halt as she faced a worthy contender. His face grim as the blade in his hand glimmered with bloodlust. His calm eyes signaling something far darker residing within him.
It was Norrick who was ready to bring and end to Seryn. "Gah!" Dargath's roar could be heard in the distance as he made quick work of Norrick's men. "I have only one question to ask." His tone heavy as he aimed the blade of his long-sword at Seryn.
She remained unfazed with the challenge awaiting her. "What is it human?" Her voice cold as ice as she locked onto Norrick's figure. She could feel a surge of aura emanating from his body that yearned to see her end.
"Do you work with Jarren or Callista?" Seryn's pause deliberate as she read his gestures. 'It would seem that these two don't have a great outlook on these elves. I wonder the case is so in the other kingdoms as well.' Flashing her dagger, she gave her response.
"No I have no such affiliations with the individuals mentioned!" Her response eliciting a hiss from Norrick. "I doubt it. Regardless, it would be best that you meet your end here at my blade's edge. Consider it as an honor from your kind."
Without a warning his figure closed the distance between the two however she had anticipated such a move. His arc down sending small pebbles flying as she leapt to the side. 'It would seem that he won't be as pathetic as I thought him to be.'
She sighed in her mind as she made her attack. A quick thrust to his head which he managed to dodge backwards followed with an arc that threatened to cleave her in half.
Her body flew over the blade as she lunged at his exposed figure. 'Damn it!' Cursing, he thrust his body to the side however a small cut grazed his cheek. All that she wanted. From here she was sure that he would meet his end.
Norrick who wiped the blood of his cheek felt something hot seer across his skin before realizing the jade liquid dripping off her dagger. 'Poison? I wonder how such a lowly beast could get her hands on such a weapon.' He thought in his mind thinking nothing much of the threat that would be his unravel.
His movements increased, his style changing to be something far more graceful and elegant not blunt heavy attacks.
*Chik*
A cut kissed her cheek however a playful smile accompanied it. "I wonder for how long you can keep up this act himan before you meet your end." She taunted, wiping the blood off her cheek as she dangled her dagger as if taunting him to make a move.
*Thud*
Norrick fell on one knee, his face haggard dripping with sweat as he watched the goblin tower over him with a smile of disdain. Seeing the shift of the battle, his men chose to enter the fray with the hopes of finishing what Norrick had began.
'Damn it! Can these pesky elves simply leave me alone!' She cursed as she was forced to confront them. With her target still locked onto Norrick, her body wouldn't get to experience the benefits of slaying her targets.
Minutes dragged on, her movements once fluid and precise began to wear and with each passing second, her death began to seem more like a reality rather than wishful thinking. 'I have to kill that bastard or I'm going to die at the hands of these pitiful elves.'
Norrick who watched the fight had a smile cross his lips, elated that Seryn wasn't some unkillable monster but rather a beast they could take down. However this revelation didn't last long as a knight that dared to launch an attack on Seryn was sent flying by another knight thrown at him.
"ROAR!" Dargath seeing the struggle Seryn was facing chose to enter the fight. "We have to kill her before that freak gets here!" A knight shouted as they mindlessly charged at Seryn only to meet their end.
Dargath's frame imposing made Norrick shudder at the power he had. Unlike Seryn's grace and agility, Dargath merely took attacks head on with no form of defence and yet his suicidal tactic seemed to prevail. Any melee attacks barely scratched his skin.
Explosives merely staggered him before he went on with his rampage while basic glyphs were shattered with his bare fists. With each passing second the shadow his presence cast on the battlefield was suffocating for the elven knights.
*Jab*
A sword found it's way into Seryn's stomach making her freeze, the elves around her elated as they cheered before Dargath finally arrived.
*BAM*
The man responsible for her attack was killed in an instant with his punch as he held onto her figure. Before he had the time to probe her for any other injuries, the barrage of arrows jolted him back to the scene.
"I'll make sure to kill each and every one of you!" His promise taking the elves by surprise. "I didn't think that such a brute could talk." One whispered before he had to face the blitz of Dargath.
As for Seryn at her last breathe, a condescending tone rang in her ear. "I thought that you would fare far better than that. I recalled my first clash and it was far quicker than this excuse of a fight you have to show." The warmthness in Callista's tone now gone replaced with sarcasm.
"We both know as to why you won so don't gloat too much dear." Jarren posed as the two ignored her dying state. 'It would seem that these two are disappointed in my death, figures from such inhumane beings!' She clicked her tongue as she waited for death's cold embrace.
However rather than the cold eternal void she had anticipated, a blue glow filled her vision.
*Ding*

A part of her was wished that she would finally be free of the nightmare of the two and yet she was strangely glad that she didn't have to die.
[{30 Obedience points have been added to your meter}]
Her face went pale as she looked at her total obedience points.
[{You have a total of 40 obedience points. Reach 50 obedience points for a special prize}]
She was wary of what the prize would be and yet she had no choice but to keep on playing the game. Her vision that was turning black was filled with color and with a gasp, she was shocked to find that she was back in her body.
Looking around, a state of absolute chaos and bloodshed awaited her. "How could you kill her!" Dargath's roars instantly drew her attention to a sight that took her by surprise.
Dargath had Norrick held by his head. His hands and legs were already broken with the jutting bones serving as proof. "You're nothing more than monsters!" Norrick spat with a grin on his face.
He had already chosen to embrace death but seeing the distressed state of Dargath brought a smile on his face that refused to leave. "Really! The I'll show you what a monster does." His tone as final as a guillotine as he increased his grip on Norrick's head.
Rather than screams of a dying man, Dargath's ears were filled with the laugh of a mad man who persisted till the sounds of his skull crunching could be heard. "HAHHH!!!!" Dargath let out a cry to the heavens that portrayed his agony. A being with consciousness now forced to endure all alone was scary to him.
His usual calm and confident face now replaced with a mixture of rage and helplessness. 'It would seem that he's not as thick headed as I thought.' She giggled rising to her feet. The sword lay a few feet from her, her stomach injury all healed.

She ignored the notifications as she made her way to Dargath who was now on the ground grovelling. She placed her hand on his shoulder beaming a smile. "I didn't think that you cared so much for me." Her words ending the stream of tears that flowed down his cheeks.
"Seryn?!" He said with disbelief as if he was now talking to a ghost. 'Have I really lost it? Is this what humans have to experience when enduring grief?' He couldn't help but wonder however Seryn aware of his suspicion landed a slap o his face.
"I'm not specter here to haunt you Dargath. I'm back, as it would seem." Beneath her light tone something more melancholic resided however he didn't realize it as he lunged at her figure exchanging a hug.
Though taken aback a first, she embraced the hug that lasted for a good minute before the two parted. "For a minute I thought that I lost you." His sigh aloof as he made light pinches on her face as if gauging that he hadn't lost it.
"Well you don't have to keep on pinching me Dargath!" She pouted trying to escape from his grasp which he eventually yielded. "Of course! I was just wondering as to how it was. Was it dark or a myriad of colors or something else entirely?"
Seryn looked at his face, wondering whether to tell him that there was no escape even in death or not. "It was fairly interesting to say the least. However I can't quite remember the details I'm sure that I got to talk to the two."
Dargath's smile faded hearing this. "It would seem that even in death we can't escape those two." His tone dry as he glanced at the setting sun that coated the sky with orange hues and gold. A remarkable sight that contrasted heavily with the mangled corpses and blood heavy in the scene.
"It would be best to leave, I'm sure that we've done enough damage." Her words eliciting a nod from Dargath to which the two left the town. As for the residences who watched the two departing figures, they let out sighs of relief.
…
"Do you really want to make her a pet? I already have my hands full with you." Jarren posed, his tone flat as he walked down the halls alone. Callista in the veils above. "What? I'll behave and make sure that she stays in line. You won't notice a thing and if she does turn out to be a bother I'm sure that we could "euthanize" her."
Her tone malicous as she echoed a mischevoius giggle in Jarren's ears. "If so then wouldn't that make me a terrible owner? After all who knows what ither pets I might get later down the line." She let out a hum, deep and contemplative.
"You won't have to deal with any more pets after all I wouldn't want to have your attention divided way too much with those I already have to compete with." Her mind drifted to Clomere and Crimson who had their own reasons to affiliate with Jarren.
"Attention? You sound a lot like Clomere at the moment only less crueler." She scoffed it off. "I'm not as psychotic as that mad woman. I'm a cat after all and we tend to be more calm and passive." Her arguments amusing to Jarren.
"Whatever you say dear." His tone playful making her mood turn sour. "I'm not as crazy as her, I'll show you."
