Chapter 168 - Chapter 168: A Lamb Among Wolves (2)

‎"Should I say yes, will you take me just to watch me break down?" His response was short and curt, his gaze once hesitant now grew more steady as he glanced at Callista. There was no response, only silence that threatened to drown him in his own folly. As if he had said something that wasn't meant to be.

‎Callista tilted her head, her figure making it's way closer to his. "As much as it would be a treat I'll spare you." Wenston's eyes narrowed hearing this. 'Does she know or not?' Was the question that lingered in his mind.

‎"However next time should I ask you a question I expect a response, not some half baked witty comment." Her tone still light however the venom laced in her words was palpable. "Do you understand?" She came to a stop, now towering above his seated frame. His throat felt dry, ant means of calming himself failed to work as if by design.

‎"... Understood." He managed to croak as he realized the little power he held in the conversation. "Since you have devoted your life to this kingdom, I'm sure that you wouldn't mind getting a little... individualistic." Her words ringing through like the devil.

‎Jarren watched from the side, his eyes half open as he seemed busy with other matters. "What do you mean?" He managed to ask, fearful of what was to come. "That family, it would be a shame should something bad happen to them therefore I would like to entrust them to you. I'm sure that you would be a fitting father to Polly."

‎His mind felt something else was on the horizon. 'There has to be more to it than just this. After all she seemed rather hesitant to let them go before.' Her sudden change of heart was unnerving rather than relaxing. He felt her eyes land on his body, he could inwardly feel the games that she was plotting with each being of him playing the mouse while she hunted him.

‎"However you would have to abandon your role right after." Her words felt like a cold shower that made his figure shiver. His lips parted with the hopes of protesting and yet no words followed. 'Damn it!' He cursed in his mind, Callista now started to circle around him with her predatory gleam of a smile.

‎'I have to save those two but abandoning my kingdom would be a guilt I won't be able to bear.' Caught between a rock and a hard place, the only thing that filled the air were the soft steps of Callista making her way back to her seat and his fervent taps on the floor. She crashed back onto her seat, her smile persistent.

‎"Have you made your decision Wenston?" She posed taking a sip of her tea. Wenston could feel knots tighten in his heart, something compelled him to save the pair however his responsibility was something he couldn't give up on a whim. "...Yes." He said as he drew in a short breathe. His fists clenched as his pits and face began to unleash a bucket of sweats.

‎"I choose my kingdom." His words final as if cementing his fate. "Oh?" Her words though playful hinted sarcasm. "Faithful to the very end like an obedient dog on a leash I see." She further added merely to taunt him. 'As much as I would like to save the two, forsaking my kingdom over two strangers would be folly.' He sighed in his heart convincing himself that he had done the right thing.

‎"I thought that you would be far more interesting but it would seem that I hoped for too much." As much as she played her theatrics of disappointment, he could tell that it was nothing more than a game to her. Something that she could dismiss at a whim should she please. His gaze drifted to Jarren who had yet to chip into the conversation.

‎"Very well get ready of your men. We'll be leaving in two days time." She posed breaking his gaze with Jarren. "Of course, it an honor to meet you two." His lips chapped as he rose to his feet. His hands visibly shaking stretching towards Callista who didn't bother shaking back. "Don't overestimate your worth." Her words ice making him retract his hand.

‎"Of course." Taking a bow never needed he left the room.

‎The door closed behind him to which Callista glanced at Jarren. "What do you think? Should we start with the mother or the child?" Her words playful as she took another sip of her tea. "I'm sure that you would love to start with something far more...tender." His words eliciting a smile from Callista who placed down her cup onto the coaster.

‎"My my, what game do you have brewing?" She mused glancing beyond the veil at his game that he staged. "Something to help elevate the two naturally." Her head tilted.in interest. "Two? I don't plan on educating that brute." Jarren chuckled. "Of course not. I was talking about Clomere's pet. Something to help her cull her perculiar taste for hunger."

‎A giggle escaped Callista's lips. "What a shame that I won't be the one to be doing it to the little devil." Her words though expressing dismay held something darker beneath her smile. "We have a lot of toys for you to sink your fangs into while we're here." His words playful as he went on orchestrating the next stage for his toys.

‎...

‎Three days had come to pass and Harriet was on edge. The day she had dreaded of coming was now upon her. The response she got from Wenston was an apology, her teeth grit at the time as she vented her rage that a absolved into self pity. Polly aloof at the time urged her mother to calm down and yet this seemed to further fuel her need to cry.

‎"Come here Polly, I have a gift for you." Her words dry as she heard the stumbling of steps on the floor boards. A bright and chirpy little girl came into her view. Her face radiating a smile unknown of what lay ahead of her. "Yes mommy, what is my gift?" She posed with a smile.

‎"This gift is rather interesting Polly. Just make sure that you wear it and don't complain too much." Polly still trying to figure out what her gift was looked at her mother's hands. A dress came to her view but what set it apart was it's design. Not the usual colorful and vibrant colors that she was used to but rather the lack of it was what caught her off guard.

‎"But mom, I can't wear something like that." She joked with a smile and yet no laugh accompanied hers. "Look, you will have to wear this or I'll force you to wear it. This is the...price that we have to pay for Jarren's kindness." Her words hard to muse akin to swallowing with a sore throat.

‎The dress came into her small dainty fingers. The design was rather questionable raising a lot of brows. It consisted of thin narrow see through strips and that ran all over, her mother taking her by surprise strip herself bare and donned her clothes as well now wearing a see through robe. The scene was still registering in her mind making her wonder as to what was going on.

‎"Well put on your clothes." Harriet urged and yet something in her tone wished otherwise. Polly could feel that something was odd, nothing wrong to scare her but the atmosphere felt different. For the first time uncomfortable to breathe in however obedient to her mother she did as asked.

‎...

‎She glanced at herself in the mirror, her small frame fully exposed be it not for the thin strips across her body that covered her small nipples and her crotch. Glancing at her mother, she was taken aback that they would have to walk like this outside. "Mom! We can't go outside like this. We're naked." Her voice losing her earlier lighthearted edge now replaced with something grimmer.

‎"We won't be going outside sweetie, just down the hall is all." Harriet's voice dry as she twist the knob and the two made their way to the pair's room. Harriet turned to face her daughter still aloof with what was about to take place. Her stare at her was filled with pity and shame. 'What kind of mother am I that I can't defend my own daughter?'

‎She cursed inwardly as she twist the knob declaring their entrance. What greeted the two were Callista and Jarren, their figures barely clothed as she sat on his lap. "Oh my goodness. She looks so cute." Callista managed to squeal which felt like an insult to Harriet. "I'm so glad that the two of you could make it, now Harriet, who do you wish for me to start with?"

‎Jarren's words low and predatory as he glanced from Harriet to Polly with a sardonic smile on his visage. "I don't care, I just want to cuddle the little thing." Callista posed gesturing her hands for Polly to be brought closer to her. Unable to refute the two, Harriet could only submit as she drew Polly closer to Callista.

‎"Hello beautiful lady Callista." Polly managed to muse with her tone now laced with subconscious fear. Something felt wrong with the scene. The calming and easy going edge she would get around the pair was gone and now replaced with something far more insidious. "Hello you beautiful little thing." Callista said placing Polly to the side, her gaze drifting back to Harriet.

‎"Well come on Harriet, don't just stand there, let's show what Polly has to do." Her words playful aimed at Harriet who had her teeth grit. As much as she cursed for the two to drop dead, her prayers went unanswered as she drew nearer to the two. Her mounds though average were now visible and the see through robe exposed her waist.

‎It neared an hour glass physique but her lower body was where the center of attention was. Her rear was tantalizing to look at let alone make one wonder what kind of acts they could indulge in with her body. Callista turned to face Polly and in her hand something black flashed. "Here sweetie, you'll be needing this for what's to come."

‎Polly somewhat hesitate looked at her mother who gave a faint nod which convinced her to take it. A gush of heat rose in her body, her little frame began to twitch and convulse but not to the point of concern before calming down. "Uh, mummy. I feel something wrong with my body." She posed however her words went unanswered.

‎Harriet now towered over the two, her disgust for the two was prevalent in her eyes as she took off her robes exposing her stark figure completely. Polly though baffled with what was about to take place was shocked that her mother would expose her body in front of the two.

‎She fell to her knees, her breathe hitching as she could already picture what was to come. She knew that the time for pleading was over, mercy was something she could only dream off at the moment as she prepared herself for the worst. "We're not monsters Harriet, we're merely trying to have a good time and if you relax a bit I'm sure that you will as well."

‎Callista posed with a hint of mockery as she moved off Jarren's lap revealing his pants and a small tent twitching. She brought herself to lower his pants and what met her was something that took her by surprise. 'Wow!' Her eyes opened with shock for a brief moment before the task flashed in her mind once more.

‎Polly who watched this all happened was shocked with how Harriet began her games. "Mom, what are you doing?" Her tone ignorant of what was to come. Harriet looked at Polly, her mind capturing her smile and happiness, something she knew that would be impossible to cross her face with the events after that day.

‎"I'm repaying our debt." She hissed as she began to wrap her fingers around his shaft, her face somewhat unyielding with what she had to do.
