Her words landed like heavy stones, every syllable deliberate and sharp, leaving no room for doubt.

And then, without another word, Cecilia released her grip.

But she didn't just let go, she shoved Victoria with force.

Victoria's body hit the ground hard, her back slamming against the concrete with a loud thud that echoed across the empty lot. The impact jolted through her entire body, stealing her breath away.

Immediately her eyes shot wide open, her mouth stretching in silent agony as a sharp, searing pain radiated from her spine. It felt like her bones had cracked, like her lungs refused to pull in air.

Her hands clawed at the ground as she arched in pain, her mind blank from the intensity that exploded through her back.

And she immediately widened her eyes because of the pain that just evolved from her back.
