Chapter 36 - Plan for the Future

Rank 32 Diana is lifted into the air and thrown hard out of the arena, breaking the wall. Serenya stood in the arena with her nose held high and was applauded by Enrico, Caelan, and Elian.

Serenya looked at her mother sitting high in the stands. There was no smile on her face, but Serenya already expected that—she would only smile if Serenya reached Class S. What really worried her was that her mother was one of the three teachers of Class A.

"I hope she doesn't bother my subordinates... especially my right hand."

Serenya whispered while looking at them, especially at Enrico, and then ran toward where they were.

The next fight was Valença's, who released a large fireball that swallowed the rank 33's fireballa.

And last was rank 34, Jorge, who was a knight and looked at Kai, who had a disappointed look that irritated Jorge, who drew his sword.

"Don't you think you're underestimating me?"

Kai raised his head, still disappointed.

"Sorry, but I wanted to fight rank 32 or 33, but they pointed first, so I had to stick with you."

Kai was really responding innocently, which irritated Jorge even more, who charged as soon as the teacher gave permission to start the fight.

The sword pointed at the throat, but the sword was cut, and a blade was at Jorge's neck.

"The battle is over, Kai is the new rank 34."

Jorge fell to his knees, and Kai sighed and walked over to Enrico with a smile.

"Enrico, when are we going to have our rematch? I want to fight someone strong."

Enrico looked at him with blank eyes and saw Jorge clenching his fist in frustration—maybe he would be useful.

"In the future, you're not on my level yet."

[Liar]

'Oh, system, I didn't hear you say anything, so I thought you were dead'

[Tsk, as if that were possible]

Meanwhile, Kai seemed to believe Enrico's blatant lie and placed a hand on his arm.

"Then I have to train more."

Professor Virelle went over to them while watching Elian fight against rank 77 of Class B.

"You did well, I'll leave them in the hands of Sir Drenholm and Borem and go to Class A."

Everyone asked at the same time.

"And the duel?"

"Cancelled."

Sairus's eyes sparked as he and Serenya asked Virelle.

"And who are you going to challenge?"

To be honest, she wanted Virelle to challenge her mother.

"Professor Park."

"Tsk"

Virelle narrowed her eyes when she saw Serenya go "tsk," and Serenya started to whistle, pretending nothing happened.

After all the fights ended, Serenya, Enrico, Elian, and Caelan went to the warehouse to celebrate and ended up bringing Kai, Valença, Liam, and Sílvia.

"So this is where you hang out? Isn't this forbidden?"

Sílvia was sitting on a chair looking around.

"Hohohoho, of course it is, but they won't find out."

Sílvia's eyes grew wide at Serenya's audacity but quickly returned to normal as she looked to the side.

"Okay, and what was he doing?"

She saw Enrico in front of a cabinet with all the vases behind him like a guardian.

"Don't mind the subordinate; he collects vases."

Elian suddenly jumped on the vase and was grabbed by Enrico, who caught him by the collar with a dark look.

"Want to die?"

"Sorry, I slipped."

Elian smiled and was thrown out of the room. Caelan came from behind but was kicked and thrown against the wall, and Enrico stood around the vases like a furious cat. Serenya looked at him with a sparkle in her eyes.

"How cute."

"What did you say?"

"Nothing."

Enrico calmed down and sat while they talked, and he thought about what to do. First, he had to completely destroy Lan, and second, reveal the weapons.

'Alright, that will be the plan.'

"Guys, I'd like something."

Everyone looked at him as Elian and Caelan returned to the room.

"Lan will surely want revenge, and the other three too, so we need to completely destroy them every day so they won't want to get revenge."

[You sound like a villain. You know they won't agree, right?]

"Alright."

Everyone answered at the same time, and Serenya's eyes turned serious.

"I already didn't like him or that girl I fought."

Valença agreed, and Kai crossed his arms.

"I don't want them interfering with my rematch when I get stronger."

[Even the protagonist? Isn't he supposed to be good? What did you do?]

Enrico didn't hear anything the system said.

"The second thing I'd like to talk about is Ego weapons."

Everyone was surprised, and Serenya asked

"Isn't that how knights become stronger than seventh-circle mages since they can only reach the sixth?"

"Yes, and I'd like you to start now."

"Subordinate, that's only for those who use weapons."

"Besides, it's better to focus on magic for now."

Valença said this while looking confused, and Enrico smiled while creating a fire bow that rippled in the air.

"Are you sure you want to stay behind me? Because I already started creating my Ego weapon."

Everyone looked at the bow, which seemed to have a better shape and wasn't as messy as in Circle Zero. They had already noticed it was better, but they didn't think Enrico was creating an Ego weapon.

They didn't know how they were formed—they only knew most knights used a physical weapon and didn't start creating one out of nowhere.

"Want me to explain?"

Meanwhile, behind the warehouse wall, two people were listening to everything.

"What an interesting boy, really interesting."

"He is, but I want to train him, so don't get involved."

It was Damian and Virelle. The two came separately but ended up meeting, and Virelle especially didn't like that Damian was interested in Enrico.

Damian just smiled and looked inside.
