Chapter 190 - DXD Begins Part 10

KOKABIEL'S SHOCK Location the Underworld; Undisclosed Secret Spot

In a secret spot, that belongs to the more...volatile members of the Grigori. Lead by the infamous, blood thirsty, warmongering Cadre, Kokabiel. Who has a deep believe, that the Fallen Angels, are the superior and most powerful race of them all. While his peace loving, brother, Azazel. Kokabiel, he adores war and bloodshed, he craves the Great War to restarts. Kokabiel has the appearance of a tall, pale man with long black hair and narrow, blood-red eyes, and elf-like, pointed ears. He wears a black robe with golden accessories accents, a purple pointed collar, and gold studs. A greenish-gray long-sleeved jacket, underneath his robes. He enter a dark room, with many followers. Like minded as him. Kokabiel first tried to trigger a reignition of the Great War, manipulating the fools of Raynare's group. To cause chaos, and mayhem on Kuoh. Maybe, sparking a war. But instead, those damned devils, they'd slaughtered those fallens. Making that attempt of causing anarchy, amongst the races is a failure. Kokabiel, he is a foul mood. As all his subordinates, they were kissing up to him. But this isn't a interest to the warmonger Cadre. As he was growing tired. A female fallen, rushed into the room. With a desperate look on her face. She repeated, that she has very important news to report. This made Kokabiel's brow rise. Curious on what has, caused such a reaction from a mid-rank fallen. After she caught her breathe, she started to tell Kokabiel on what's happening right now. Every word, that she spoke. Changed the expression of Kokabiel's face. As he stood up, from his seat and yelled out, "The Satans demand what!!!?"

NEW SENTENCE FOR THE GRIGORI Location Capital City of Lilith: Central Tower of Lilim, Top Floor

A little flashback, of a couple of hours. On the top floor of Lilim Tower. Serafall, Sirzechs, Falbrim, and Ajuka, have called back Azazel. After they had a small discussion, on the sentence against the Grigori. This will cost Azazel's faction greater than the last offense. With Azazel's carelessness, and un-leader like mentality. He'd pretty much, gave the Satans no choice but punish his people. Even with his strength, he knew he'd screwed-up big time. This has always been his downfall. Sloth...with a side of Lust. He always went with the flow, and hoped for the best outcomes. And these times of peace, might have made him more lustful, and laid-back...no lazy to many responsibilities. Azazel has always told his sisters and brothers, that are Cadres as well. Armaros, Shemhazai, Benemune, Baraqiel, Tamiel, and others, they'll be better leaders than himself. But if not for Baraqiel, Shemhazai, and Benemune claimed that they'll only follow him. Kokabiel, as much as Azazel loves his brother. Kokabiel and his warmongering nature, would cause more mayhem and discord. All the older generation of the Grigori, crave peace. And he was forced to be the leader, which Azazel never wanted the position. Azazel, scramble to his seat. With Sera, looking or better said glaring at him. She remained quiet. While Sirzechs, he'd look at him, with a apologetic expression. Honestly, Sirzechs he never wanted this outcome. But even he has to put old friendships, and possibilities of peace, for the betterment of his race...

Especially since this time. He was completely, out numbered. Even the stoic, and always analytic Ajuka. And the ever slothful Falbrim. Agreed with the sentence that Serafall, push for. These accidents have shown that while Azazel is a powerful, and good person. He is a terrible leader, and a overall risk for the devils as a whole, if he remain in command. But Serafall with Kalawarna and Mittelt's personal statement of the Grigori, structure and core that it functioned. It was too dangerous, and downright reckless to let them, within reach of the devils. So with a grim heart, Sirzechs, had to bite his lips, and let this sentencing to proceed. Ajuka, he stood up. Him being the Satan, that was agreed upon to delivered to verdict to Azazel. Speaking in a calm voice, with deliberate authority. Ajuka, he told Azazel. That the fallen, have proven to be too disrespectful, and untrusting. With the devils, reaching a new age. Expanding to a whole new world, and maybe achieving there soo desired fertile moment. As Ajuka, he has progress in his Aura research. He couldn't risk this danger, even with Laharl promising that no one would be able to dimensional travel, without permission. But his mind, he was always thinking of possible dangers and threats. Azazel, he is one of those threat, if let unchecked. Ajuka, he continued speaking. Stating that the sentence is clear. The Grigori...is here by banished from the Underworld, and blacklisted by the devils. Hearing this Azazel, gasped in shock and fear. He knew that of the three races, Angels, Devils, and Fallen. The fallen are the most distrusted...and quite honestly disdain. Even the devils, are more accepted in some places of the world, and more importantly. The devils they have their own home, when the Great War ended, the ones that lost the most of the three factions. Even when God died, the Angels still have ownership of Heaven. Devil owned the Underworld, since Lucifer's banishment. But the Grigori?

Through Azazel's negotiations and connections. He managed to establish, something akin to a home. All by the literal mercy, and generosity of the devils. Now Azazel, understood why Benemune was soo tough with him. His laid-back attitude, cost them big this time. Azazel, with a crushed expression. He looked back at the Satans. Pleading for mercy, and maybe another chance. Azazel, promised to restructure the Grigori, and make it a better faction. Worthy of trust and respect. But Ajuka, Serafall, and Falbrim shuke their heads. Refusing to compromise, the sentence was final. Azazel, tried one last ditch option. Turning to Sirzechs, and Grayfia who stood coldly, and unmoving beside her husband. He pleaded to Sirzechs to try, and maybe convince the others to change their minds. Without a home. The Grigori, are a walking target for everyone. Human hunters, Yoika, Monsters, Angels, Gods, and even devils that were once restrained, by the meer risk of triggering a war again or angering the Satans. But without the security of a home base, they'll be constantly attacked, and hunted. Azazel he couldn't allow that. This is practically a extinction sentence to fallen angels, only those aligned in other factions, would be safe. But the Grigori, it will be practically destroyed. Sirzechs, he shuke his head sadly, and only saying this reply to his old friend, "I'm sorry, the decision is final. The least I can do, is give you're people some time to leave safely, Azazel. Take this last mercy, and good luck...old friend." with those words, Azazel's last hopes were crushed. He knew that he couldn't convince the Satans, for reconsideration. They'd already showed mercy back then. By not killing Vali, after all the chaos he'd wrought a year ago. With the sentence given, Azazel recomposed himself. Stood from his chair, and thanked the Satan for this last mercy. As he'd left the room, while Serafall huffed in anger. She choose to be "merciful", she still refused to spill blood out of anger. This decision will insure the safety of her people, and her little sister.

CHAOS WITHIN THE GRIGORI Location the Grigori Headquarters

The "trial" has ended hours ago. Right now, in the private former territory of the Grigori, within the Underworld. Inside the base of the Grigori. Everything was in utter chaos. As Azazel called all the top member of the fallen. With Azazel was Armaros. Who is a black-haired and violet eyed fallen, that has a muscular physique like that of Azazel and Baraqiel, only with a wildish beard. Next is Shemhazai, having a "younger" appearance then the rest. With white hair and burgundy colored beret on his head. Benemune, she is a beauty. Big breasted, purple long-haired, glasses wearing fallen woman. Then is Baraqiel, a old friend and comrade of Azazel. Stoic looking man, with short blackish hair, and a thick beard. He is Akeno's father, and always has his eyes closed. Lastly there's Tamiel. He is tall, has blond hair, and wears a robe with many ornaments and a circlet. They were gathered in a meeting room. With mainly white colored walls, and lower half of the walls, have a dark wooden placed. A burgundy rug, adorning all the meeting room. As the Cadres sat around a reddish wooden table, with a royal purple cloth on it. Both the cloth and table has golden accents. Azazel, he looks defeated. As he just told his brothers, and sister what happened. They'd yelled in shock, and surprise. Not only on what the Satans, decided as punishment for their faction. But also the big stupidity of Azazel. They're were in thin ice, with the devils, and Azazel allowed this to happen!! Benemune, she exploded. Slamming her hands onto the fine table. Yelling angrily at Azazel. Blaming him of his careless attitude, and clear mistrust of their own people. Because of his dumb obsession over Sacred Gears, he showed mercy, and welcomed non-fallen into the Grigori. A decision that brought instability in the Grigori. She, Shemhazai, and Baraqiel, allowed this and even calmed down the other fallens. But then he'd did the first Kuoh incident with Vali, then again another incident in Kuoh. Using the most unreliable members of the Grigori.

With Benemune unloading grievances and frustrations. The others, apart from Shemhazai and Baraqiel, also started to unleash their fury on Azazel. But Azazel, he saw the sad, and disappointed looks on Baraqiel and Shemhazai. Not that he'd blamed any of his brothers, and sister. Azazel basically just told them, that they're homeless and have a limited time to leave the Underworld. Or basically it'll be open season, for the Grigori. And since this extermination, all in name, will happen in the Underworld, no risk of the Great War will spark. Instead this might be a benefit for the devils. If the other factions, learn that the fallen are responsible, for their own downfall, and finished by the race they insulted. The devils actions would be juste, and accepted by others. Azazel, knew this and so did the other Cadre. If they could have kept their home, they could have planned to do something, but this was a juste eviction!! The other Cadres, haven't finished ranting and yelling at Azazel. When the doors to this meeting room, were burst open. Coming into the room is a black robed, and greenish-gray jacket wearing. Black long-haired, elf eared Cadre, Kokabiel. Clearly angry!! Truth he was planing to reignite the Great War, but that plan needed a homebase to make a campaign. No army can function without a base, or home to recuperate. Azazel, while Kokabiel always respected his brother's strength. He was annoying fool, that covenant peace.

But this outcome, losing their territory!! This will put dampers on Kokabiel's plans. His brother, ruined everything. In a way, that Kokabiel never expected to happen. Kokabiel, yelled in rage!! Sprouting all his black angel wings, five pairs in total. He ran across the room, leaping onto the table and tackle a surprised Azazel. Starting to throw punches, at Azazel. After everyone got over their shock, with exception of Armaros, Shemhazai, and Tamiel let this happen. While Benemune and Baraqiel, they got up from their seats, and went over to Kokabiel and Azazel. Trying to separate the two Cadres, from each other. After Baraqiel, used his full-strength. He'd pulled Kokabiel off of Azazel, who has a couple of bruises, and scratches on his face. Azazel, he said he was sorry. Also stated that on this day forth, he'll step down as leader of the Grigori. They'll decide who to take command, as Governor of the Grigori. Right now, they needed to organize all the fallen in the Grigori. They have to leave...and wander around on the Humanworld. For the Underworld, the Grigori weren't welcome. There at risk, not of large scale fight...but persecution and death. Kokabiel, as much as he wanted to rage and keep wailing down at Azazel. Azazel was right. Their people need to be safe, so they have to leave. Retracting his wings, telling the other Cadres, that he'll rise the guards of their Grigori. While the others, organize and make a mass "relocation", for their people. As each Cadre, left the room one by one, leaving Azazel alone. He sighed, never expecting this outcome. He'd originally hoped to form the cornerstones of the Peace Treaty, using the White and Black Dragon Emperors, and then finding out the Red Emperor was also in the picture. It should be a great occasion, especially since they can then focus their combine forces, against the Khaos Brigade... But all of that is mute at this point. Homeless, and in danger. The Grigori was facing their greatest trial, his only hope, was uncovering what technology was used to achieve dimensional travel. Since this world, it seems keen on hating the Grigori. One final sigh, Azazel left the room again. As the Grigori was all but desolated now.
