VIA PURIFICO BOSS Location the Oasis Dungeon Area 6, Boss Area: Deepest Pit of the Submerged Dungeon
Swimming forward into underwater area. Into the rounded chamber, and the great serpent emerged. A levianthan of orange, yellow, red, and a bit of burgundy color theme. Having a semi-western dragon style. Possessing four limbs, with razor sharp claws. Several forward curved horns, trailing down the upper-half the serpent. With two larger horns, on top of the Evrae Altana head. With yellowing fur, also trailing down the spine of the serpent. Evrae Altana, roared and swayed in the water. Immediately Laharl recognized that this is a living version of the Evrae Altana, because of the colors. So this is a living, wingless version of that Boss. Evrae Altana, swam over to the devils. It's claws, and body swaying in the water, with clear aggression. The Boss fight, has officially started. And it began, with the Boss attacking with a claw strike, at Weiss. She dodged with grace, commenting that she'd face Grimm that were more impressive, then this gecko. This comment made Caulifla, and Rumi bust out, laughing. As Weiss swam over, using her demonically empowered Glyphs, to boost herself in the waters. Shooting like missile fired out of a submarine. Slicing the massive serpent, making it roar in stinging pain. Bending her demonic magic, forming another glyph floating in the waters. Allowing her, Weiss to push off from said glyph, and attacking the Boss from another angle. Forming another glyph at her direction, and once again, pushing off a glyph. Hitting the Evrae Altana on the back, once again making the giant serpent, roar in pain. Soaring through the water, slicing the Boss from various angles. Making it impossible for the Boss to track, or attack her. Nero, seeing Weiss attack, she smiled and swam in. The Boss noticed the Red Saber, coming towards it. Roaring in anger, ignoring Weiss assault for a moment, and focused on Nero. Thrusting forward to slash at Nero, with it horns, like a curved blade.
Nero with a smug smile. She twirls to the side, her red dress, quite impactful in the water. Swimming past Evrae Altana. Heading to one of Weiss Glyphs, Weiss shooting forward. Passing Nero, and smiling as she'd immediately understood, Nero's plan to use her glyphs, along with her. Once Nero reach a glyph. Just like Weiss, she pushed her legs off of it. Blasting herself with great force, and speed. Slashing the Boss in the back of the neck, while Weiss, she slice the Boss on the tail. The two devil swordswomen, continued their assault, not only constantly attacking the Boss, but forcing it on a unfavorable situation of fighting, such a large group. As Nero and Weiss continue their combined attacks, making the Evrae Altana more angry. Allowing the rest of the peerage to swim over, and join the fight. Sensing the danger, the serpent turned to the upcoming enemies, once again Evrae Altana, it roared. Swaying it head, and it's horns started glowing in magical power. A yellowish-white glow of energy, sparked off the top, longest horn. It was preparing to unleash a Photon Spray, attack at the multiple targets. Multiple magical projectiles, were fired towards Laharl and the girls. That were swimming forward, without slowing down or showing any concern. At the barrage of magical blasts, soaring to them. As Raven's eyes turned whitish-grey, and she chanted, "Azarath Metrion Zinthos!!" bringing forth her Soul-Self, and expanding it's size, emencely. Letting out a bird caw, as the Photon Spray, struck against the Soul-Self. Shielding everyone from the Boss' attack. As the Soul-Self was diminishing in size, revealing Ruby and Laharl swimming ahead of the others. Most of their sword techniques, there useless in underwater combat. So they used their respective projectile attacks, with Laharl firing his Dark Bolts and Ruby her Anarchy Bolts. Dark and chaotic magical projectiles, were fired off the hands of both Laharl and Ruby, respectively. At that moments those with range options, joined in on the bombardment of the Boss.
Zombina unloading her bullets, from her SMGs at the serpent. Even using her Gunman's Spirit technique. Usually this barrage of demonic energy bullets, are meant to a onslaught combination. But under the water, it acted as a barrage attack, with the final shot being, as powerful as a point-blank sniper shot. Zombina, she spammed this technique, over and over. While Raven along with Mizore were unleashing a barrage of ice long-ranged attacks. Fast, razor sharp, icicles and ice lances, soared through the water. Stabbing and impacting on the Evrae Altana. Morrigan was firing her Soul Fist. The bat-skulled, demonic energy projectiles, exploding onto the giant serpent. Ranko, she either pushed off the glyphs of Weiss, alongside Weiss and Nero. Hitting the Boss, either with flying kicks, or hadokens. Caulifla, copied Ranko. Only using her flight technique to improve her swimming abilities, and throwing strikes or ki-blasts at the Boss. Even taking sometime, firing at Full-power Energy Wave. At the Evrae Altana, a supercharged ki-blast, almost a blast of red ki, striking the Boss. Setsuna, she decided to attack head on, alongside with Cerberus. Setsuna, her techniques are kinda, compromised by being underwater. So instead she used spear-slashes, stabs, and her Whip of Light technique. She channels her demonic energy through her hand to manifest a razor sharp, energy whip from the claw of her index finger. Lashing at the Boss, whenever, she was swimming away from a attack of the Boss. Kyoko, was spamming her Shuriken Wave, launching demonic surging shurikens, at the Boss. While Daki, she'd attacked from afar, as usual with slashes from her obi-sashes, stretched out at the Evrae Altana. Cerberus they split up. Attacking the giant Boss, with punches and kicks. Rumi, followed the triplets' example. This was the Krichevskoy Peerage's best strategy against such, a huge Boss. Especially when their in a very unfavorous, for the devils. Since they never fight, underwater. And them fighting a Boss, that has the full advantage, in underwater combat. At least Griffon, they're able to bring down, the giant bird of prey, demon by aiming at that previous Boss' wing. In the Boss fight, only by constant bombarding, and rushing against the Boss. This made Evrae Altana, was growing more and more aggravated. None of its attacks, can they hit the swarming targets. Enraged Evrae Altana, roared and started swaying...or shaking through the water. Seems it was time to move, for the devils.
EVRAE ALTANA BOSS FIGHT SECOND STAGE The battle seems to have reached a second phase. Laharl, shouted at his girls to swim. Heading through the path, off the side the chamber. As the Boss, was clearly getting enraged. Then a astral appearing, orange and yellow gradient colored, projection of a cloak. Manifested and surrounded the Boss. It was casting, Haste on itself. Haste, one of the most important, and useful spells in the Final Fantasy series. Making the castee faster, which meant he or she, can have more faster actions in battle. But that was in game, Haste most likely in real life, meant double speed in everyway. Which meant in such a open area, Evrae Altana, has the advantage being a natural swimmer. So it was time to see, if this dungeon also has the sealing chamber lever. At the end of the pathways, as the Boss movements and actions. Were clearly accelerated, it noticed that the seventeen devils, swimming away. Evrae Altana, roared again. Swimming after the prey. Soaring through the water, with unbelievable speed. It was quickly catching up, at the devils. Mizore and Raven, seeing this. They'd used their powers, freezing the entire pathway. Forming a obstruction, as a massive, thick wall of ice. That was smashed against by Evrae Altana. Making the giant serpent, roar in anger. Smashing it claws, against the wall more and more. Breaking apart chunks of ice cloisters, letting the devils swim ahead. Gaining some ground between them, and the Boss. Following Laharl, that was looking for that lever.
As Evrae Altana, finally smashed through the thick ice cloister. Roaring as the serpent, swam forward, after the escaping prey. As the Krichevskoy Peerage, reached the next chamber. Evrae Altana, was soon to arrive next. Still under the affect of the haste spell. Laharl, told the girls to swam ahead, as the Boss swam straight at the young Krichevskoy King. He banished his Vritra Zanbato Fury, back into his soul. Channeling his demonic power, throughout his being. He really didn't want to use this technique, underwater not cause he couldn't, but because of the aftermath that awaited. Upon raising his arms, multiple huge ball of hellfire, manifested in the underwater chamber. The intense force and heat of these spheres, was actually boiling the waters. Along with increasing the temperature, in a drastic pace. Even Laharl was feeling the increasing heat. After all, it was his own power, clashing against his own magical and physical resistances. As the Boss, was showing some irritation from the boiling waters, it didn't slow down. It kept swimming right at Laharl. With a smirk, as his arms were still up, he said, "Screw you, snake!! Bite the dust!!!" swiping down his arms. Unleashing his Overlord's Wrath, all the giant ball of hellish fire, soared and followed the same direction. Boiling through the waters, as they collided with Evrae Altana. And caused a massive fiery explosion, releasing a underwater shockwave of super heated bubbles and steam. Even making a gapping orb, causing a massive pressurize explosion. That wave of super heated bubbles, was soaring straight at Laharl, and with a frown he said, "Ohh fuck..." He was hit with intense force, and heat. Just like he suspected, he was blasted away, since there isn't any resistance. Laharl was knocked across the chamber, the sounds of the Boss shrieking in pain, reaching Laharl's ears. Telling him, that unfortunately he didn't kill the Boss, but at least bought time. As he desperately, tries to regain control of himself. Laharl, he smashed onto the wall, beside the exit pathway.
Finally able to swim again. As the bubbles, were still blocking everything. Hissing a bit, from the sting of boiling damage, he's just suffered. Laharl swam away from the wall. Recalling his Sacred Gear. The massive Eastern style buster sword, the Vritra Zanbato Fury, appeared in his right gloved hand. Resting his sword onto his shoulder, and began swimming out the chamber. As the Boss, was suffering. Swiping it claws, and swaying it serpentine body through the waters. It movements, swipping through the dissipating bubbles. Once the bubbles cleared, from the chamber with a dark pit, underneath. Signs of burns, spread across the bright colored body of the serpent. Swaying it's head around. The Evrae Altana, noticed that it was alone. It's prey, has escaped. Roaring out in fury. Meanwhile Laharl reached the girls. They waited for him, in the halfway point of the pathway. The girls noticed the slight damage, on the skin of their love. They swam over to him. Raven, she immediately casted healing magic, onto Laharl. All the slight burns, disappearing from his skin. Making Laharl smile, kissing his dark gothic sorceress, that's when they'd heard the roar coming from behind them. The Boss was pissed, and most likely chasing them down, at this very moment.
So they started to swim forward, this next chamber should hold the gate lever. Sealing the Boss on one side, while they on a more safer position came attack without issues. Even with the Evrae Altana, still under the affects of the Haste spell, from earlier. They'll have the advantage of the serpent. As they'd swam, the Boss once again started chasing after them. Already a quarter the way to its prey, as the haste spell, making it movements extremely faster. Back with the devils, they'd reach the final pit chamber, and Zombina. She noticed the mentioned lever, that Laharl told them about before. Pointing her index finger, at the direction. Making everyone look to her direction, this made Laharl happy. As they swam straight towards, the last exit. Right now their enemy, should be passed the half point of the pathway behind them. Perfect, time to move and separate both them, from the Boss. And end this fight. Swimming as fast they can, all seventeen devils made it almost across the chasm pit, beneath them. When they'd heard, the Boss roar again. Much closer, and clearly much more angered. Once the Krichevskoy Peerage, was on the otherside of the chamber. Zombina, shot one of her gun at the lever. As Weiss was final one of them to pass into the path, a massive gate close behind them. And the Boss finally made it to the chamber, seal off from it's prey. But still refusing to surrender, it swam over and smash onto the gate. Not making a dent on it, and with the peerage securely behind the gate, they're ready to end this battle.
