While Alex was on the way towards the thousand beasts forest the world alliance headquarters successfully completed there electricity restoration project as well as retrieve the crashed satellite from the location and are currently investigating what happened in the starry skies by trying to repair the broken camera recorder while also trying to complete the final part of the cultivation techniques.
While they also started cleaning the evolved beasts after all they are still in there weak phase with heavy weapons while also transferring all domestic animals to a special training area so if they mutated then they can still be useful.

(Host can also have beast companion with three methods (1) raise the beast from there infancy then contract him using spiritual consciousness pact or blood bond.
(2)Forcefully enslavement after subduing a beast forcefully place a slave seal in his spiritual consciousness with you spiritual consciousness.
(3)Make the beast submit to you by your strength or make friends with the beasts while treating them equally.
The first 2 methods can only be done after the host breakthroughs the mortal body refining state and enter the next martial body stage in which the host can use his spiritual consciousness to place spiritual seals on the target in this stage cultivators can use spiritual consciousness to sense the surrounding with there eyes closed.)
Alex hearing about the stage after mortal body refining was eager to know more and asked about the cultivation stages after that the system answered his immediately
(Knowing too much about the cultivation stages stronger than the current cultivation will affect the hosts mentality when the hosts cultivation grows stronger host will come to know eventually)
Alex was stunned by the reply but was even more eager to get stronger now that he knows that in the Next stage he can contract beasts he quickly rushed forward towards the thousand beasts forest so that he can increase his cultivation by devouring those mutated beasts.
After half an day of travel Alex reached the outskirts of the forest Alex then speed up even more and soon some beast appeared in his sight but they were too low level for Alex so he decided to enter the inner region of the thousand beasts forest after sometime Alex arrived in the inner region and also encountered his first opponent in this forest it was a black leopard Alex instantly decided to check it's information using his divine eyes.

Alex was excited to encounter Seventh order beast in the inner region that means there are stronger beasts in the core region just the thought made him excited by devouring all those beasts it won't be long before he can finish his beginners mission the beast was asleep at the moment beside the tree Alex immediately closed in but the beast woke up sensing the intruder then bearing it's fangs at Alex the beasts rushed towards Alex but he was ready to use( his eye of annihilation) but the beast suddenly disappeared from the sight Alex with his divine eyes was still able to see that beast was closing in on him with its claws in shadow energy ready to be unleashed anytime ordinary won't be able to survive this move Alex immediately guessed this must be shadow veil Alex this time felt that instead of devouring this beast for cultivation he should devour it's skill shadow veil it might come handy in the core region without hesitation Alex waited for the beast to close in on him while acting like he couldn't see the
beast then suddenly when the beast looked into his eyes darkness devoured the beast whole it fell into the illusion Alex walked towards the beast placing his hand on the beast Alex used absolute devouring.
Alex focused on skill shadow veil instead of cultivation then the beast's essence was devoured by more then 30%then the skill was devoured by Alex and Alex felt like he owns this skill for many years without any training he felt like he can use it perfectly.
Alex decided to ask system why only 30%of the beast's essence was devoured and why he felt like he owns the skill for years.
System like always answered him immediately by saying
(Because hold can devour all of beasts skills but host choose to only devour one so the remaining essence wasn't devoured by the host as for the familiarity with the skill because you didn't learn this on your own instead devoured it from the beast you also devoured his experience of the skill.)
Alex was excited by this discovery in future he can just devour new skills that he likes without the problem of practicing
Alex then used absolute devouring on the beast and devoured the remaining essence.
Increasing his cultivation to the fifth order peak just on the brink of breakthrough then he went deeper into the forest along the way Alex devoured many beast increasing his cultivation to sixth order peak because he didn't find any beast skill worth his attention he just devoured them all for cultivation but the skill shadow veil was amazing it worked like a charm using this skill a black membrane forms around his body like a veil which makes him invisible and also removes his presence from the surrounding Alex felt fortunate to have made the decision to devour the skill after devouring some more beast and his breakthrough into seventh order body refining state Alex decided to head deeper into the forest towards the core region along the way Alex noticed something amiss because he didn't find any beast along the way like they don't exist in the core region after going even deeper Alex found something strange all the spiritual energy was being sucked by something up ahead Alex decided to go ahead and check out the situation ahead after Alex reached the place he was stunned because there were all sorts of beasts gathered around the place in the middle was a spiritual vortex that was sucking spiritual energy from all the surroundings for who know how long.
all the beasts were focused on the vortex like it was a treasure they didn't start fighting with each other but were waiting they didn't even attempt to attack him Alex used his divine eyes to check what it was but the sight on the other side stunned him system like always answered him by saying
(host this might be a blessing or a curse for you this is a portal that connects to another fragmented world(also known as secret mini realm) it might be because of the spiritual awakening that the fragmented world spatial portal appeared here using spiritual energy from the surrounding area the portal will soon be stable and fragmented world are world that were made by experts or were world that were destroyed but only fragments remain traveling the universe in the void storm this might be one of the destroyed world fragment that drifted towards greenheart planet because expert only keeps there secret realms for the descendants this broken world without any world spirit might be devoured by the world spirit so now after the spiritual awakening its portal is visible there might be other fragmented worlds that were devoured by the greenheart world spirit as well...
