Days had passed since Saiki Kusuo initiated his masterplan.
Hidden in the shadow of his quiet cabin in the Jura Forest, he had spent those days fine-tuning every inch of Veldora Tempest. The Storm Dragon wasn't just being trained—he was being rewritten.
"Now move your wing like this," Saiki said calmly, his finger glowing with psychic control.
"Uwahhh! That's... weird! It's like I'm watching myself but not in control!"
"Exactly. If you mess up, I override your body."
"...Yare yare, you really are scary for a guy who doesn't talk much."
"I'm not here to impress people. I just want jelly and peace."
Saiki didn't stop there. With his psychic abilities, he enhanced Veldora's movements, modified his voice to sound like a demon king from a horror movie, and—most terrifying of all—he increased Veldora's aura output tenfold.
Veldora himself was impressed.
"I feel... unstoppable."
"You're not," Saiki said bluntly. "You're a puppet."
"Tch... can I at least pretend I'm cool?"
"That's the idea."
Meanwhile, Guy Crimson was resting on a velvet throne, sipping a glass of eldritch wine inside his palace.
"I'm actually looking forward to this. I haven't stretched properly in centuries," he chuckled, swirling his drink. "Let's see what that oversized lizard learned."
Velzard, Guy's longtime rival and Veldora's sister, was pacing near the ice windows.
"Don't let your guard down. Something's off. I can feel it."
"Relax," Guy grinned. "If he dies, he dies."
But she wasn't smiling.
"You don't understand. This doesn't feel like Veldora… It feels like something beyond him."
Across the World....
Saiki's magical projections floated in every major city—broadcasting the countdown to the battle. People watched in anticipation.
In Blumund, merchants stopped selling.
In Sarion, elven elders raised barrier spells.
In Dwargon, King Gazel ordered a military lockdown just in case.
In Ruberios, Luminous stared at the sky, glass cracking in her hand.
In the Empire, Rudra and Velgrynd watched the timer with narrowed eyes.
Even Leon Cromwell looked out of his palace window, lips twitching.
"What are you planning, Storm Dragon?"
The sky was clear.
The sun burned overhead.
All the Demon Lords gathered.
Milim was bouncing with excitement.
Carrion stood with arms crossed.
Frey flew above with her wings open wide.
Clayman trembled behind a few of his elite guards.
Leon, Luminous, Draguel, and Dino stood in silence.
From above, Rudra and Velgrynd watched from a flying disk.
Velgrynd narrowed her eyes.
"Why don't I feel his aura?"
"Hmm…" Rudra said, amused. "Maybe he's trying to surprise us."
And in the center stood Guy Crimson, arms folded, looking around casually.
"Well? Did the lizard get cold feet?"
Then It Happened....
The wind stopped.
The sun dimmed.
The ground cracked slightly beneath them.
And then...
BOOM.
A massive rift tore through the sky. Black and purple energy spiraled into a monstrous vortex. The clouds twisted around it like chains of fire.
"W-What is that?!" Clayman screamed, stumbling back.
"This… this pressure…" Carrion muttered.
"It's like the world itself is holding its breath," Frey whispered.
Even Guy Crimson's eyes narrowed.
"Finally."
All eyes lifted upward.
From the portal came a presence—unholy, suffocating, and so terrifyingly alien that even the True Dragons flinched.
Velzard's expression changed instantly.
"No… no no no… that's not my brother. That's something else."
Velgrynd's face went pale.
"What… did he become?"
The psychic projection screens flickered and roared as citizens around the world clutched their chests, gasping for breath. Children cried. Animals ran for shelter. Crops withered under the tension in the air.
"Mommy! The sky is screaming!"
"It's like death is falling from heaven!"
"That's… the Storm Dragon?!"
From the portal, lightning crackled like whips. Then a massive, black-scaled claw stepped out.
Then another.
Then the entire Storm Dragon emerged—Veldora in his full prime. But this wasn't the wild, chaotic Veldora of the past. This was a god-like beast, cloaked in streaks of lightning, glowing sigils, and shadows that seemed to devour the ground.
His golden eyes gleamed like dying stars.
Every step shook the earth.
Some of the demon lords fell to one knee.
"I... I can't breathe," Clayman muttered.
"It's like gravity's been multiplied," Dino said, sweating.
"YEAHHH!!" Milim screamed. "THIS IS AWESOME!"
Even Guy Crimson's smirk faded slightly.
"...This pressure… is that really Veldora?"
And then… he spoke.
Saiki had modified his voice, deepened it, and laced it with telepathic tremors.
"GUY CRIMSON."
The world echoed.
"STRONGEST DEMON LORD."
Storm clouds rolled across the Barren Lands.
"YOU ACCEPTED MY CHALLENGE. TODAY, YOUR REIGN ENDS."
"I SHALL SHOW YOU…"
Lightning struck all around him.
"WHAT TRUE POWER MEANS."
Silence.
Then—
Guy Crimson stepped forward.
He cracked his knuckles.
"Heh… fine, you scary lizard."
"Let's dance."
In Sarion, people screamed and ran from the projection.
In Dwargon, dwarves fainted from the pressure.
In the Empire, the emperor rose from his throne.
In Blumund, soldiers prayed.
All across the world, one truth became undeniable:
"Veldora has returned."
And he is no longer the same dragon they once knew.
Guy was excited from what he was seeing. The sky had darkened, pressure thicker than magma hung in the air, and Veldora's terrifying aura—now amplified by Saiki's psychic finesse—shook the world to its core. This was no ordinary duel. This was a clash of titans.
"Heh," Guy smirked, cracking his neck, his crimson eyes gleaming. "It's been a while since I got to go all out. You better not disappoint me, lizard."
From above, Veldora growled. "Come, demon. Today you face the new and improved Storm Dragon!"
Suddenly—BOOM! Guy vanished, using his signature Spatial Shift, closing the distance between them in less than a heartbeat. Veldora's claws swiped… but the air shimmered where Guy was just standing.
"Predictable," Guy muttered, launching a flurry of high-speed punches wrapped in Calamity Claw—a technique infused with spectral fire.
But to his surprise, Veldora matched him, dodge for dodge.
"Yare Yare…" Saiki muttered from the safety of the forest, controlling Veldora with surgical precision. "This guy really likes to make noise."
Back in the field, Veldora remained completely untouched.
"Why aren't my hits landing?!" Guy hissed.
Veldora smirked. "Are you done tickling me?"
Gasps echoed among the crowd of Demon Lords and onlookers through the magical projections. Even Velgrynd's eyes narrowed. "Since when did Veldora get this fast?"
Then came the next shock—Saiki transformed Veldora into his Human Form. He emerged from a wave of gold light, tall, muscular, hair like woven sunlight, and glowing golden eyes.
"Since when could he do that?" Velzard muttered.
"Dramatic as always…" Rudra chuckled.
Guy scoffed. "Nice makeover. You done preening?"
Before he could blink, CRACK!—a punch to the gut.
"URGH!" Guy stumbled backward, coughing. "W-what the hell…?"
"Let me show you real speed," Veldora grinned.
Now it was Guy's turn to dodge. He unleashed Napalm Burst, a spectral fire explosion. Veldora waved his hand, and the blast vanished before impact.
"WHAT!?" Guy's eyes widened.
"Oh yeah," Saiki yawned in the background. "Just redirected that into a void pocket I borrowed from an old manga I read. Worked just like in Psycho Gravity Sigma."
Then Guy summoned Lucifer: Lord of Pride, his Ultimate Skill. His body glowed dark violet as he layered Multi-Dimensional Barriers, enhanced his muscles with Demon Lord Haki, and conjured a Genesis-grade sword made of anti-matter.
"You ready, lizard?"
"I was born ready."
The next few minutes were chaos. Lightning clashed with spectral fire. Fists shattered landscapes. Veldora blocked the Nuclear Death Streak, then retaliated with a burst of speed and slammed Guy through three mountains.
Leon whistled. "Since when did Veldora become a monster like that?"
Milim's eyes were sparkling. "This… is awesome!!"
Clayman was trembling. "He's a monster. A REAL monster."
Still, Guy didn't relent. He conjured his God-grade Sword, slicing apart the terrain. Veldora caught it mid-swing—SNAP! The blade shattered.
"You… broke it?"
"I'm just getting started," Veldora grinned.
Frustrated, Guy released his Calamity Claw Barrage, a storm of 1,000 energy blades. Saiki tilted his head. "Too flashy." Snap. All the blades reversed and exploded midair.
"Let's see," Saiki muttered, flipping a page in a floating manga beside him, "how did that one martial arts anime pull off the invisible step?"
Suddenly, Veldora vanished mid-stride and reappeared behind Guy.
"Wha—!" Guy turned but caught an elbow to the back.
Next came a brutal flurry of moves Saiki pieced together from anime and manga he had seen in his old world—Dragon Spiral Uppercut, Shadowstep Cyclone, and a finishing move called Heaven Break Fist—a combo straight from a battle series called Blazing Fists of Oblivion.
Guy was sent flying again. The audience was dumbfounded.
Backed into a corner, Guy narrowed his eyes. "You leave me no choice…"
Velzard's eyes widened. "He's not—"
Guy activated Time Stop.
The world halted. Birds froze mid-flight. Flames paused. Dust hung still.
Only Guy, Velzard… and surprisingly—Veldora—could move.
Guy's mouth opened. "No way… You can MOVE in time stop!?"
Veldora just smirked.
Saiki, smirking from the forest, thought, Yare Yare… that technique was supposed to be broken. Too bad Crimson, i own time.
Veldora struck. One punch, two, five, ten—each landing with the power of a meteor. Guy was flung through his own frozen time.
Guy finally deactivated the Time Stop to conserve energy, only for time to resume with him being hurled across the battlefield.
Dirt, rock, and blood flew.
The audience gasped. What they saw: Guy was standing one second, then BAM! He was cratered into the dirt the next.
"What just happened!?" Frey asked.
"I don't know… but I'm never going near Veldora again," Carrion said, jaw slack.
As the dust settled, Veldora floated above, cloaked in lightning, eyes glowing.
"This… is your strongest?" he mocked.
Guy, bloodied but grinning, lay on the ground. "Heh… damn. Guess I really was outmatched."
Rudra folded his arms. "This world just got more interesting."
