"Fine! I won't lose to you!"
Atalanta pressed her lips together, filled with determination.
As a renowned huntress, running was her greatest skill—she couldn't possibly lose to anyone.
Boom!
The two suddenly sprinted forward.
But Atalanta was shocked to discover that her opponent was as fast as lightning, making it impossible for her to catch up no matter how hard she tried.
Why?
How can you run so fast?
So... you were slowing down for me all this time?
In the blink of an eye.
Nameless had already reached the finish line and extended his hand to her. "Sorry, I won."
"You... what is your request?"
Atalanta looked at his outstretched hand but didn't take it.
"I want you—to leave this kingdom and live freely!"
Nameless placed his hand on her head, gently stroking the proud huntress's hair. "You're a huntress. You shouldn't be caged in a city!"
"I..."
Atalanta stared at him in a daze.
Never in her wildest dreams did she expect his request to be entirely for her sake.
But before this request, there was still the vile restriction from her father—what should she do?
Right then.
The king strode over. "Congratulations on winning the race! My daughter shall marry you!"
He had already accepted Melanion's gifts earlier, and now he saw an even stronger hero, making him all the more eager.
Under his expectant gaze.
Nameless suddenly smiled and pulled out a vial. "Your Majesty, time to take your medicine!"
It was the vial of Gender-Bender Elixir he had obtained earlier from the King of Heroes.
Originally meant for the King of Heroes, but this guy would do for now.
???
The king, utterly bewildered, tried to refuse but found himself powerless to resist.
Under the effects of the elixir, he transformed from a burly man into a woman!
"If you're so eager to sell your daughter for wealth, why not do it yourself?"
Nameless's smile widened as he turned to the other contestant. "There, this is your compensation. Marry her, and you'll have the entire kingdom!"
"..."
Melanion fell into a long silence.
He had already bribed the king with vast wealth and obtained three golden apples from the Goddess of Love.
Two things that should have guaranteed his success—so why had it all turned out like this?
The mighty and formidable king, transformed into a girl, was truly left with no choice but to—
Accept it without refusal!
"No problem!"
Melanion nodded without hesitation.
Having already given away so much wealth and offered so many sacrifices to the Goddess of Love, he absolutely had to make it all back!
"Ahhh, stay away from me!" the king screamed in terror.
But it was useless.
That very night, the two held their wedding and entered the bridal chamber!
The audience was utterly stunned—
-[Holy shit, you can play it like this?]
-[Nameless, you absolute legend! This disgusting king deserves to be manhandled like this!]
-[Damn, I'm dying of laughter. Nameless's wild move just broke my back!]
-[As expected of Nameless, effortlessly achieving what we could never even dream of!]
…
Nameless's outrageous antics left countless onlookers clutching their stomachs in laughter.
It was an ending no one could have anticipated.
Under the watchful eyes of the laughing audience, Nameless smiled and extended his hand: "Atalanta, you are free to fly now. No one will bind you any longer!"
"Am I… free?"
Atalanta looked dazed.
"Yes, congratulations."
Nameless waved goodbye. "Go and hunt freely!"
"Freedom…"
Atalanta watched the two depart, falling into a long silence.
Behind her, the king's pitiful screams echoed.
Her gaze sharpened once more: "Wait for me. I will become strong enough—strong enough to fight by your side!"
She took out the spoils from her hunt of the Calydonian Boar.
Turning the boar's hide into leather armor, she stepped into the perilous forest, embarking on a brutal life-and-death training regimen.
Now, let us hunt the enemies lurking in the darkness!
Three gods appeared before her.
They were none other than the Moon Goddess and the Goddess of Love, who had been watching nervously from the sidelines.
And another radiant deity, shining like the sun—
Apollo!
The Moon Goddess, with her silver-white long hair and ample bosom, rushed forward: "Hahaha, Nameless, I knew you wouldn't just casually seduce my follower! See, I bet right!"
The earlier footrace had been a wager between the two gods!
"Fine, you pass. In the name of Aphrodite, I bestow upon you the supreme charm of [The Beautiful Youth]!" Aphrodite huffed in reply.
After her blessing, Nameless's charm skyrocketed once more, deepening the Moon Goddess's infatuation.
Apollo instantly glared at Nameless with murderous intent.
The surrounding temperature soared violently.
Mash trembled slightly but stood firm by her senpai's side.
Nameless coughed lightly. "Might I ask what trials the Sun God and Moon Goddess have prepared?"
Having just completed trials for four gods, there were still eight more to go.
Artemis thought for a moment, blushing slightly. "Could you… kiss me?"
"Uh…"
Nameless stared at her blankly.
"Ahem, I just wanted to… get closer to a mortal," Artemis mumbled, fiddling with the hem of her clothes, her face flushed with shyness.
The entire audience gaped at her in shock.
How could it be this simple?
Wake up! You're the Moon Goddess, not some love-struck little girl!
Apollo abruptly stepped between them. "No, I forbid it!"
This was his most precious sister—moreover, a cute sister with little-sister attributes. He would never allow anyone to take advantage of her.
Artemis smiled sweetly and cooed, "Don't stop me, just for a little bit, brother~"
"Absolutely not!"
Apollo was resolute. After a moment's thought, he proposed, "How about this, Nameless, you kiss me instead, and let me take my sister's place in touching you."
???
Nameless stared at him blankly.
At that moment, he finally understood just how twisted a sister complex (or brother complex) could be!
Even all the spectators were utterly stunned—
-[Holy shit! According to mythology, Apollo swings both ways. Did Nameless actually conquer him too?]
-[What a terrifying sister complex! But a goddess like Artemis, who's the elder sister yet has such little sister vibes, is absolutely adorable!]
-[Apollo: Children choose one, but as an adult, I'll take them all!]
-[What's it like being the pretty boy all the gods adore? Nameless: Thanks for asking, currently in Greek mythology era, just conquered two sibling deities!]
...
Under everyone's astonished gazes.
Apollo snorted coldly, "By the name of Apollo, I grant you invincibility under the sun!"
In truth, after witnessing the other party slay the demon boar and dragon, as well as defeat the Beast Goddess in another timeline, he had already silently approved the trial.
Now, even my sister couldn't resist his charm, so naturally, he had to be sent far away.
"What a stingy little brother!"
Artemis huffed but still bestowed her blessing. "In the name of Artemis, I grant you the Moon Goddess's favor—you shall never miss your mark!"
Two divine blessings in an instant!
"My deepest gratitude to both deities!"
Nameless bowed solemnly.
But then—
No sooner had he spoken than Apollo summoned his sun chariot and tossed him onto it. "Off you go to the next god!"
Whoosh!
The chariot vanished without a trace.
Artemis stomped her foot in frustration. "Hmph! He won't escape my grasp!"
"He's just a passing traveler."
Apollo sighed softly.
His naive, foolish sister really was a handful.
"Hmph!"
Artemis snorted but said nothing more.
However!
Once under her favor, how could he possibly slip away?
Let it not be forgotten—aside from her divine role as the Moon Goddess, she held another authority:
The Hunt!
No matter if he fled to the depths of hell or the ocean floor, escape was impossible!
Watching the Moon Goddess's shifting expression, Illya couldn't help but gape in shock. "Why does the Moon Goddess seem more and more like a yandere?"
"Indeed…"
Miyu nodded in agreement.
Despite her breathtaking beauty, Artemis appeared even more terrifying than Atalanta.
Truly, gods and their fanatical devotees—you really are alike!
This only deepened Miyu's concern for Nameless.
Once the video was revealed, wouldn't these gods descend upon the mortal world?
When that time came…
Would Nameless be forcibly taken by the Moon Goddess?
Or perhaps struck down by Apollo's arrow?
Miyu's small face was clouded with worry. "If the gods try to take Brother away, what should we do?"
"Heracles would probably help us…"
Illya replied, though her confidence was shaky.
Her strongest trump card was only a demigod hero—hardly a match for two mighty Olympians.
Under the weight of the two little girls' anxiety, the scene shifted.
Nameless, riding the sun chariot, had traversed an immeasurable distance.
Another deity now came into view.
This one bore a kindly expression, holding a sickle as she gazed sorrowfully at the fields below.
Nameless stepped forward and greeted her. "Greetings, Goddess of Agriculture."
Indeed, this was Demeter, the Goddess of Agriculture.
In Greek mythology, she taught humanity to cultivate the land, blessing farmers with bountiful harvests.
Yet in her wrath, she could also wither the earth, leaving it barren.
A supremely powerful Olympian.
Demeter spoke softly. "Savior from another world, the trial I originally intended for you was to retrieve my daughter from the Underworld."
"Uh…"
Nameless frowned slightly.
Her daughter, Persephone, had long been taken by Hades to become Queen of the Underworld.
How was he supposed to bring her back?
"But upon reflection, you're far too weak for such a task. I'll have to go myself."
Demeter turned her gaze back to the fields. "As the Goddess of Agriculture, countless farmers pray to me daily for abundant harvests, leaving me no time to search for my daughter."
"Thus, your trial is this: ensure the farmers can reap bountiful harvests without relying on me!"
Food is the first necessity of the people.
This truth holds across all human civilizations.
The Goddess of Agriculture was perhaps the most hardworking deity of all.
Wanting to refuse, yet fearing mass starvation, she couldn't bear the thought.
She had no choice but to work overtime constantly.
Truly no time to search for her daughter.
"Alright!"
Nameless nodded.
In his hand appeared numerous seeds: "These are hybrid rice varieties. Their yield per unit area is several times that of wheat, and they can be harvested every six months, up to three times a year."
"So remarkable?"
Demeter gazed in astonishment at the seeds in his hand.
With these tiny things, she could completely stop busying herself with answering prayers and have ample time to search for her daughter.
Demeter couldn't help exclaiming: "What kind of being could possibly achieve what I do?"
As the goddess of agriculture, she could clearly see.
Within these small seeds lay generations upon generations of cultivation spanning decades.
Endowing them with astonishing yields that could free mortals from reliance on gods - something she'd never imagined possible!
Nameless answered solemnly: "An ordinary mortal from my era."
"A mortal???"
Demeter grew even more astonished.
How could a being who freed farmers from dependence on gods, enabling bountiful harvests independently, possibly be mortal?
Such a figure would have long been worshipped by countless people as a deity!
"Indeed. Doctor, please show Goddess Demeter."
Nameless called for external assistance.
"Certainly!"
Doctor Roman immediately projected the relevant footage.
Having come to this ancient Age of Gods, there was little he could assist with, mostly just observing.
The video played.
In a rice field ready for harvest.
An elderly man stood by the field, smiling as he watched.
Dressed in ordinary clothes with a hat, he looked like any common old farmer, as if just returned from working the fields.
The footage accelerated.
This old farmer selected two rice varieties from the fields - with partial differences yet complementary superior traits - and hybridized them generation after generation.
One year, two years, three... ten...
Decades of consistent cultivation finally bore fruit, with yields increasing year after year.
The heavy ears of rice brought smiles to the old man's face, yet he continued laboring in the fields.
Famine completely disappeared from that nation!
No one would starve to death, nor would the tragic scene of people exchanging children to eat ever occur!
"This person, truly..."
Demeter sighed softly.
She could clearly see this was indeed a mortal.
Solving the food problem for countless people - this was divine-level achievement worthy of deification.
Yet despite decades of toil and innumerable accomplishments, he remained unchanged at heart, still working diligently.
Rather than normally enjoying others' worship and reverence!
Demeter watched the old man resting in the shade beneath rice stalks, her respect deepening: "A mortal who rivals the gods! With such beings among you humans, there is indeed hope!"
