Chapter 192 - Romantic Relationship, Departure

"W-Well, the rest..." Robin stiffened, her face turning even redder as she mumbled softly. "Depends... on Mother's decision..."

"Haha, no need to ask." Lucian let out a low chuckle, then leaned in, his warm breath brushing against Robin's neck, sending tingles down her spine. "In our little family, I make the rules."

As soon as his words fell, his strong arms slipped beneath Robin's knees and back, effortlessly lifting her into his embrace in a princess carry.

"Kya!"

Robin let out a startled cry and instinctively wrapped her arms around Lucian's neck, curling up in his arms like a frightened bird.

"Fath—Lucian!"

Robin, her heart pounding like a drum, hastily corrected herself in how she addressed him.

Lucian, hearing his little bird calling him by name, immediately understood that the maiden he had raised for so many years was finally accepting him not as a father, but as a man.

Soon enough, in the main bedroom of the spaceship, the power belonging to the Path of Harmony ignited completely within Robin's body, but this time, it was no longer meant to soothe others, and instead resonated through a strange connection to the two Paths within Lucian.

Powers flowed, intertwined, and echoed between their bodies like colliding stars, bursting into dazzling light bright enough to tear through the soul.

It illuminated the dim bedroom, forming a brief yet magnificent halo of energy outside the spaceship, like a forbidden flower blooming in the depths of space.

===

No one knew how long it lasted before the halo of energy finally subsided.

Inside the spaceship's main bedroom, Robin, without any garments covering her body, lay limply on the bed as though every bone had been drained of strength from her body, her skin glistening with a faint sheen—her eyes unfocused, her soul still drifting within that whirlpool of ecstasy.

Lucian, bare-chested, lay beside her, propping his head on one hand as he quietly watched her dazed expression.

Outside the window, the silent sea of stars continued to flow—as if witnessing this transformation that began with protection and ended in possession.

Just as Lucian reached out to stroke Robin's delicate cheek, a message from the System suddenly popped up before his eyes.

[DING! Congratulations on completing the script!]

[In one day, the script will close, and the host will leave the current world.]

'One day, huh... Well, compared to before, it's not bad this time. At least, I have a full day to say goodbye...'

Lucian truly felt a little sorry for his little bird—he had just taken her first blood, but soon after, he had to leave.

'No choice. I'll just have to make it up to her in reality.'

He thought with pity, then reached out and pulled Robin into his arms.

Robin, seeming to have awakened by his movement, shifted closer into his embrace with her eyes still closed.

"Lucian..." Robin whispered, her eyes closing peacefully. "Have you thought about how you'll explain this to Mother and Brother when we go back?"

"I'll just tell the truth." Lucian replied bluntly while his palm gently pressed and kneaded her flat belly. "Serfina will understand. I love you, and I love her too. Even though our relationship shifted, we're still a family."

Compared to his original world, this world—where various civilizations and races with unique cultures and common sense existed—their family relationship might seem messy to some and might seem normal to others.

Regardless, it didn't really matter.

Even if some disapprove of their relationship, so what?

Now, no one in the entire Asdana star system or the Epsilon system dared to gossip about them anyway.

"What about Brother?" Robin asked hesitantly.

"Well, since now he's become my brother-in-law, there's no place for him in our family anymore." Lucian replied jokingly with a faint smile. "We can only go our separate ways from here on out."

"Pffft~"

Robin couldn't help giggling when she imagined Lucian calling her brother, his own foster son, 'Brother-in-law.'

"Poor Brother…"

Even though she said her brother was pitiful, Robin honestly tightened her embrace around Lucian because she knew he was just joking.

"Anyway, I think I'll make it up to him a little."

Lucian spoke with a chuckle, imagining Sunday's dumbfounded face.

Considering that Serfina and Robin were now his wives, maybe he should just remove Sunday from the family register and have him open his own?

===

In the end, after spending some tender moments together with Robin, Lucian quickly took her back to Penacony.

He hadn't returned for quite some time, so before the script ended, he had to visit Serfina and tell her about his departure.

"What? You and Robin…"

Serfina was completely stunned when she heard that her daughter was now in a romantic relationship with her husband, who was her adoptive father.

Lucian hugged Serfina from behind, unable to see her expression, but he could feel her body tremble slightly.

Clearly, she was shocked.

"Fina, she's not a child anymore, and we've all lived for many years..." Lucian whispered gently into Serfina's ear. "For long-life species, certain relationships aren't really restrictions, right?"

Hearing this, Serfina couldn't help but let out a helpless sigh.

Honestly, what could she do?

Just before she became Lucian's woman, she had always known that he was not an ordinary man, especially after they made love for the first time that night—she understood well how extraordinary his stamina and prowess in bed were.

For that reason, she had already prepared herself mentally for other women to enter their lives, since she knew that she couldn't handle him alone in bed, nor could she allow herself to be the only one fully satisfied every time they did the deed while his beloved was left feeling unfulfilled.

It was just that she had never expected that the first woman would be her own daughter.

Nonetheless, now that what had been done was done, she had no choice but to accept it.

"Hahh... this must be fate. You saved me, saved Robin, and gave us a happy life. Honestly, what else can I say?" Serfina said with a helpless smile, then raised her hand and clasped Lucian's hands. "So, are you going to make it public?"

"No, not yet." Lucian smiled wryly and shook his head. "I have to leave for a while, so for now, let's just keep it within the family."

Just as these words fell, Robin suddenly jumped out from her hiding spot.

Earlier, she had been hiding in the corner of the room, secretly eavesdropping on their conversation, wanting to hear her mother's reaction right away.

However, once she heard that Lucian would be leaving, she couldn't hide anymore.

"You're leaving?" Robin asked with a frown, then grabbed Lucian's hand. "Where? I'm coming with you!"

"Sorry, little bird, I can't take you with me this time..." Lucian sighed and shook his head. "I'm going far away to meet some old friends. I promise I'll be back ASAP, alright?"

Since his excuse sounded reasonable and she wasn't a spoiled girl either, Robin had no choice but to relent.

Even so, the wings behind her ears couldn't help but droop.

"Alright then... When are you leaving?"

Robin asked softly with a slightly forced smile.

"Tomorrow morning."

Lucian replied softly, giving a slight, bitter smile.

"In that case, let's have a family gathering tonight, and let's call Brother back."

Robin suggested, her cheerful smile returned.

"Mm, Sunny hasn't come home for a long time either." Serfina nodded with a smile. "He's been so busy with Penacony's affairs."

In the end, Sunday, who had now become the acting head of the Oak Family, was personally summoned back by Lucian. As soon as he entered the living room, he saw his mother and sister being affectionate with his father on the sofa.

'Ah… home really is the best—so warm and peaceful...'

Sunday thought with a faint smile, feeling deeply moved.

After witnessing so much joy and sorrow from the people who had confessed in the church, the warmth of home felt truly healing to him.

However, all of it changed when he heard something that nearly shattered his mind: his own little sister and his adoptive father were now in a romantic relationship.

"Wait, Father, this isn't a joke, right?" Sunday asked with an uneasy expression.

"It's serious." Lucian nodded and replied calmly.

"Robin, are you really sure about this?" Sunday turned to Robin and asked seriously.

"Mm, this was my choice." Robin nodded softly.

"Hiss..." Sunday took a deep breath before he finally calmed down.

He felt as though his soul had nearly ascended on the spot, but fortunately, his willpower was strong enough to digest and endure this shocking news.

"Hahh... since it's your decision, and Father's will, I have no reason to object..." Sunday said helplessly, no longer objecting. "Whatever you decide, I'll accept it."

He naturally had no other option but to accept the outcome as it was.

At most, there would be some annoying gossip circulating around, but if that really happened, he would handle the matter himself and deal with it properly, all to prevent unnecessary trouble from reaching his father and sister.

Just like that, in this family of one human and three halovians, one halovian was forced to fly solo and perch on his own branch.

===

When time reached midnight, Serfina asked Lucian to make love one last time before he departed, but who would have thought that, not long after that, Robin actually came to him on her own and, just as unexpectedly, also asked for the same thing.

Lucian couldn't favor one over the other, so he ultimately made love to both of them together right then and there, and ended up not sleeping all night.

===

Early the next morning, as the time to exit the script drew near, Lucian stood in the front yard, preparing to leave the house, pretending he was truly going on a long journey.

"When will you come back?"

Robin held onto Lucian's right arm tightly and asked anxiously.

"When you've written a thousand songs for me, I'll return."

Lucian smiled as he replied, gently patting her head.

A few moments after exchanging their departing words, Lucian gave final kisses to Robin and Serfina, then turned to walk away, stopping after a few steps to glance back at the two of them one last time before finally disappearing from their sight.

"I'll start writing songs right now, so he'll come back sooner..."

Robin whispered tearfully, hugging Serfina and burying her head against Serfina's chest.

True to her words, Robin locked herself in her room every day from that day forward, composing songs without stopping. Even though she didn't know where Lucian had gone, she believed he would never lie to her.

"When I finish a thousand songs, he'll definitely come back to me."

With this belief, many years later, Robin finally completed a thousand songs, yet Lucian never returned, making it the first time he had broken his promise.

Robin, however, ultimately chose to forgive him and continued making songs.

"I'll write another thousand... but this time, you better not break your promise again... or I will never forgive you... I'll be mad—so mad you won't be able to coax me for a hundred years..."
