Chapter 176 - Playing god (176)

When they eventually arrived at the village, Seijuro was beet red.

Could you tell that Tsunade had her fun annoying the fuck out of her student?

Hahaha, she liked that so much. She wondered what kind of BS she could tell him next. Hahaha, he was just so red—it was hilarious to witness such bullshittery.

Anyway, they made their way to the Uzumaki village.

Even in base, Seijuro felt faster. Stronger.

Though little did he know... in the shadows, a little black goo had witnessed the whole thing—from the alien coming out, to the final attack.

Though something it did notice was... the alien looked weakened when it came out. As if it took a beating before getting here. That could explain why the human could defeat it.

Strangely enough, it didn't come here for his mother like expected.

It came because of that human.

...

So... in the future, this human would be strong enough to challenge his mother's clan.

The black goo had to do some changes in his plan.

Some little adjustments needed to be made.

Madara is 100% not hearing a peep of this.

Let his old delusional ass believe in the moon plan... yeah, yeah, let's go with that.

Anyway, when they reached the Uzumaki village, one man stood waiting for them.

Aizen Sōsuke.

He greeted them with a polite smile and folded hands. "Welcome. It's an honor to host the Leaf's best."

Kushina beamed slightly, trying not to tear up as she stepped onto her homeland's soil again. "Feels... warm. Like home."

But before she could fully sink into the nostalgia—

"Seijuro..."

That was Mikoto. And her voice had shifted.

Like she'd just stepped on something dead and didn't mean to.

Seijuro blinked, confused.

Aizen tilted his head politely—but both of them froze internally.

They had the same thought echoing in their minds.

She can see through it.

She turned on her Mangekyō.

Mikoto's Mangekyō narrowed, her chakra reading heightened after awakening. The similarities were too strong. Too precise. Too familiar.

Even Kushina furrowed her brows. "...Yeah, he kinda looks like Seijuro, doesn't he?"

Aizen, ever composed, adjusted his glasses. "I suppose some traits overlap—though I assure you, I'm merely an old soul guiding this sanctuary."

Though... his eyes seemed to never leave Seijuro, as if something in his mind was clicking.

He turned to Kushina. "Welcome back to your birthplace, Kushina. I hope the comfort of home brings you peace."

He even smiled kindly.

It was a real, genuine smile.

Kurama detected nothing fake about it.

Though his chakra and Seijuro's seemed about the same, with some light differences in between—those two were probably related.

Kushina still side-eyed him.

Later That Night – Hidden Chambers Beneath the Village

Aizen was finishing his experiment, having summoned the full Gedō Mazō, since—well, the one he grew couldn't handle all that chakra. So he had to summon the other one, upgrade it, like put some good wood on that shit.

Pumped like 70-ish Kage-level worth of Senjutsu chakra into that thing. Stabilized it and all.

TL;DR: it was hard.

He also removed the will within it—like fully. That will was sealed somewhere. If given to Black Zetsu, he could 100% make the Karma Seal for Kaguya.

Use her for power. Then destroy her will.

Simple and quite effective, really.

He felt a presence behind him.

Turning around, he saw it.

Seijuro had appeared behind him.

Neither spoke for a moment.

Then—

"You were attacked."

Not a question. A statement.

Seijuro nodded and lifted his sleeve, revealing the Karma Seal.

It pulsed faintly before glowing, markings crawling across his arm and neck—until even a single horn, Urashiki-style, appeared on the right side of his forehead.

"The alien called himself Urashiki. Ōtsutsuki," Seijuro said calmly. "He came from the future to stop me... which means whatever I become, it's enough to shake their damn pantheon."

Aizen's eyes glimmered behind his lashes. "Good. That means we're on the right path."

"But it also means we need to move," Seijuro continued. "The Karma... it's empty. He's gone. My soul erased him. But it left behind... something. And if I want to survive, I'll need the rest of your power soon."

Aizen turned, hands behind his back. "After I absorb the Ten Tails, I will return to you. We will be one again."

"...You sell the sick story?"

Aizen chuckled, soft and cruel. "Like a merchant in a famine. Some of the elders already found the forged scroll. They're whispering. Soon, they'll 'discover' I'm too weak to lead."

Seijuro smirked. "Then everything's moving according to plan."

Aizen would, however, take a sketch of the Karma.

He wondered if he could make one...

But with the Ten Tails?

Considering that, he could make an artificial Tailed Beast, and the Karma could work as a way to access that power.

Let's say a Bijū as strong as the Nine Tails, then choose like 10 or so Uzumaki to have the seal, and at all times, the clan would have 10 people as strong as the Nine Tails to lead them.

He would even add something in the seal which made it possible to pass it down, and the will of the person before could be inherited.

Think One For All from MHA.

While Seijuro himself had no clue what this MHA was, his idea was basically One For All.

But instead of one... there were ten of them.

This way, he could somewhat ensure the Uzumaki clan was protected.

May or may not put like 30 or so failsafes within the seal to make sure it never fell into the hands of another village—or that, the second they were a traitor to the clan, the seal could be turned off.

Amongst other things.

Back in Seijuro's Room – 2 Minutes Later

He shut the door.

Exhaled.

Started unstrapping his gear.

Then—

The door opened.

He turned, confused.

And nearly short-circuited.

Kushina stepped in first, wearing a scarlet silk nightgown with gold trimming—the front dangerously low, her long red hair spilling over her shoulder like a crimson waterfall.

Followed by—

Mikoto, dressed in midnight black, translucent sleeves, and a high slit that did NOT abide by the shinobi handbook.

Both wore confident, calm expressions.

That made it worse.

Seijuro? Seijuro was blinking fast enough to unlock the Byakugan by accident.

"Wha—?!"

Mikoto raised a brow. "Nightwear."

Kushina tilted her head, innocently adding, "It's hot. You said this room was cooler."

He stared.

His brain rebooted.

His nose bled. Visibly.

{closest I could find}

A/N.....I leave for two seconds and he is already playing god...{Atleast this time he is helping people}.....
