Meanwhile, on the Celestial Thunder sailing the Aegean Sea, they docked at a small island's port, preparing to exchange treasure for supplies like fresh water.

They might not even need to use treasure because the legend of the Celestial Thunder's voyage had already spread across all of Greece with the seabirds, and the king might offer help for free.

The island's king was said to have married a daughter of Hercules, almost making him a relative to half the heroes on board.

However, as they approached the dock, there was no one to receive them, not even a vessel coming or going—the entire dock was as silent as death.

The heroes who disembarked felt something unusual. Little did they know, in just one day, all of Greece virtually turned into a living Purgatory, with over half the population feverish, infected, and beginning to vomit. When the vomit seeped into the groundwater and spread into the Aegean Sea, it caused an even wider spread.
