The next day, Wang Xi's eyes opened at the crack of dawn.
He sat up and turned to look at the girl still sleeping soundly beside him, reaching out to brush the messy strands of hair from her face.
Goddalir's body was delicate, after all. Last night's passion had completely drained her of all strength. If Wang Xi hadn't deliberately held back, given his non-human Physique, the little Witch likely wouldn't have been able to Parry the tempestuous onslaught.
After all, within seven steps, a Mage can't beat a Warrior.
CLICK-CLACK-CLACK…
From Wang Xi's left chest came the sound of turning gears that only he could hear.
"Your Gear Seal has been healed!"
"Current Darkening Value: 0/100"
Thirty points of his Darkening Value had been completely eliminated by the healing power of true love.
Wang Xi's gaze softened as he looked at the girl.
'Since some things have already happened, it's best to just let nature take its course.'
