This was especially true for the latter. While human soldiers and Bottom Adventurers could still rely on geographical advantages and tactical equipment, the wild monster cannon fodder were completely expendable. To the upper echelons of the Green Dragon Army, these creatures were merely tools to be summoned at will, and their deaths caused no heartache.
They continued to conscript massive numbers of wild Demons to the front lines. Their greatest purpose was simply to deplete humanity's war reserves and claim the lives of its soldiers.
However, the death of an Extraordinary Demon was an entirely different matter.
