The Guild was not a babysitter for Adventurers.
If every Adventurer sought shelter from the Guild, it would have to shut its doors.
Gauss sat quietly in Baron Valentine's castle, occasionally giving the man a brief response. Before leaving, he advised the Baron to put the construction of the stone statue on hold, delaying the carving for at least two months.
Although he had other plans lined up, he figured it was better to be safe than sorry. Knowing that a mysterious monster had its eyes on him, Gauss wasn't careless enough to blindly allow this small town to erect a statue in his honor.
Additionally, he stated that with the great victory against the beasts, he would be taking the Red Dragon Team away from Warren Castle within the next two days to embark on a new journey.
Though the Baron was somewhat puzzled by the sudden warning and Gauss's rush to leave, he agreed to respect the man's wishes after Gauss repeatedly emphasized the matter.
Gauss left the castle.
