Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: Acquiring the Divine Armor: Vibranium Rune Armor

Upon hearing Su Li's inquiry, Schwartz struggled to suppress his shock and shifted his gaze back from Hilude.

Then he held the box in his hands and presented it to Su Li, respectfully saying, "Oh, I have something here that requires your attention. Late last night, Count's Guardian Knight Connor delivered this box."

The Elite Knight had now been completely won over by Su Li. After all, it was in his very presence that Su Li had performed one miracle after another.

He could be certain that Su Li daring to explore the Border Prince's Territory was a clear sign of his immense confidence. This exploration could potentially grant him significant opportunities, allowing him to become a Kingdom Knight or even break through to Champion Knight, all depending on this gamble!

Therefore, he became even more respectful toward Su Li, hoping that his performance would earn Su Li's trust.

Thus, even though the box was handed to him, he had never opened it.

The box was quite heavy, and when placed on the solid wood table in front of the bed, the table even wobbled slightly.

With a curious gaze, Su Li personally opened the box. As the lid was lifted, a heavy, cold glow burst forth from within.

Both Su Li and Schwartz widened their eyes and their breathing quickened upon seeing the contents of the box.

After being stunned for three seconds, Schwartz exclaimed in disbelief, "Vibranium Rune Armor!"

As the most important rare metal in this world, Vibranium could only be mined in super-large iron ore deposits and was exceedingly scarce.

It possessed superior protective capabilities and unlimited load-bearing potential, allowing precise rune enchantments to be imbued upon it, making it the top-grade material for crafting equipment.

An Elite Knight wearing Vibranium Rune Armor could easily defeat five or six soldiers of the same level. The disparity was akin to the gap between heavy armor soldiers and a group of serfs wielding only hoes and sickles in mortal society.

Any Knight of Chivalry hiding Vibranium Rune Armor committed a capital crime. Any merchant trading in such resources would be hanged without mercy.

It could be said that all Vibranium was tightly controlled by the Imperial Knights, Counts, and Dukes. This was the foundation of a faction's power and a symbol of the honor of Kingdom Knights.

And now, Bauhinia Earl had actually sent a set of Vibranium Rune Armor to Young Master Suli?

Schwartz felt so shocked that his mind went blank. Just how much did the Count favor Young Master Suli to make such an investment!

Su Li exclaimed in surprise, "The old man actually favors me this much? Schwartz, do you recognize this armor? What kind of runes does it have on it?"

Schwartz quickly collected his thoughts and took the armor out of the box. With a clang of iron hitting iron, the full appearance of the armor gradually unfolded.

This was a finely crafted black armor decorated with red battle patterns. The armor's surface shimmered with a faint metallic luster. Once the Bloodline Power was activated, the red battle patterns would emit a blazing glow, greatly enhancing the wearer's strength.

Schwartz explained, "This is the Blazing Soul Law Armor, the main equipment of the Red Night Knight Order. Two types of runes are engraved on it by a Rune Master: the [Cold Steel Rune] and the [Crown of Honor]."

"The [Cold Steel Rune] grants the wearer a layer of Cold Ice Shield. Attacking it is like slicing through an indestructible ice block in a frigid environment. It would numb the opponent's hands, immobilize their body, making it almost impossible to grip weapons, and greatly decrease their attack and defense speed."

"The [Crown of Honor] allows the wearer's attack to convert into heavy weapon attacks. Even if it does not penetrate the opponent's armor, some unaccounted damage turns into blood energy damage, greatly distracting the opponent's blood flow and inflicting internal injuries."

"If the wearer immensely surpasses the enemy in strength, and the enemy uses Bloodline Power to attack the armor, it might lead to self-destruction, freezing oneself into an ice sculpture. I have personally witnessed on the battlefield a beastman roaring and swinging his axe, only to freeze himself entirely instead of harming our knight. Then he was shattered into ice chips by an ordinary human soldier's sword, his entire blood and bones turned into frozen debris."

Such powerful effects? Su Li was also taken aback. If a Champion Knight puts on this Vibranium Rune Armor, wouldn't he be invincible on the battlefield?

No wonder the serfs in this world dare not rebel against the Knight Lords. This really was a case where if a Knight Lord stood stationary, letting them hack away, the serfs couldn't even pierce his defense.

Su Li then laughed and said to Schwartz, "Then this set of Rune Armor is yours. Bring the other knights with me; there's another huge surprise waiting for us."

"Reward it to me?" Schwartz opened his mouth wide, too shocked to even speak. This was the armor only the most elite knights of the Red Night Knight Order had the privilege to wear! There might not even be ten suits in the entire Count's Territory!

Though Schwartz had considered that following Su Li could lead to prosperity, he never imagined such opportunities would come so swiftly!

This was a scene Schwartz had dreamed countless times before but could never realize. Now, just by following Young Master Suli, it had manifested so quickly.

He was moved to tears, incoherently saying, "Young Master Suli... I... I am willing to die for you. No... No, whatever happens, I must live to fight for you. The direction your sword points is my battlefield to fight to the death!"

Su Li smiled, patting his shoulder lightly: "Schwartz, don't be so dramatic, bringing up life and death. Aren't they just a few sets of Vibranium Rune Armor? Trust me, as long as you loyally serve, there will be more of such things, even stronger, engraved with three or four runes! You and your family's descendants can all have a Vibranium Rune Armor of their own."

Schwartz, overflowing with excitement, couldn't help but remind, "Young Master Suli, this is Vibranium Rune Armor, extremely valuable. Even a strong Count's territory might not own several sets. Obtaining a Vibranium Ingot is not an easy task for us."

"Oh? Is it?" Su Li said casually, "Then my view might differ slightly from yours. Let's go, bring Frederick, and we'll go out. We might just stumble upon Vibranium."

Upon hearing this, even though Schwartz believed in Su Li, he was inevitably filled with deep skepticism. This was the most precious rare metal, Vibranium! How could a mere outing casually lead to its discovery? Even for Young Master Suli, accomplishing all this seemed unlikely, right?

But with Su Li's determined attitude, he could only follow commands, summoning all the knights and armed attendants under Young Master Suli at the training ground, forming a queue and fully armed, leaving Bauhinia Castle alongside Young Master Suli.
