The wildmen swarmed out of the forest like locusts, screaming as they charged towards the convoy.
Next to the carriage, Gang Le turned his head to see the wildmen, showing no hint of panic on his face.
He stretched his limbs, his armor clanging,
"Finally, I've been waiting so long I was getting sleepy."
Gang Le spat, ejecting a blade of grass from his mouth, and calmly halted his steps.
The other soldiers also stopped, fearlessly watching the approaching crowd in the distance.
"Stay alert, don't get yourselves killed by underestimating them."
After Gang Le's reminder, his expression turned serious.
Confident but not arrogant, no matter who the enemy is, take it seriously.
This was a special instruction from the Lord.
As Gang Le finished speaking, the wildmen's long spears streaked through the sky, shooting toward the convoy!
"They strike hard!"
Gang Le shouted, "Shield wall!"
