"Empty promises?"
Durant looked at Luo De in confusion, "Lord Baron, you seem dissatisfied with Baron Halon's reply…"
Durant hadn't heard such a term before, but from Luo De's expression and the surface meaning, it didn't seem like a good word.
"Doesn't he want Knight Frank?"
"No,"
Luo De smiled,
"Of course he does, and he's offering a good price."
He held out one finger, speaking nonchalantly:
"A hundred gold coins, plus a purebred warhorse from the Morsal Plateau."
Durant looked slightly surprised at Luo De, then a smile appeared on his face,
"It seems Baron Halon really wants this knight back."
Luo De nodded.
Luo De had heard of the warhorses from the Morsal Plateau. They weren't from the eastern continent, but from the neighboring Land of the Gods.
The Morsal Plateau warhorses are tall and muscular, stronger than ordinary horses, and supposedly have some magical beast lineage in them.
