"Lead the way."
At Linda's command, they headed straight for the northern manor.
The tall walls of the manor had collapsed, rubble strewn everywhere.
Under the captain's guidance, they crossed through the manor's courtyard and entered the main building, quickly spotting the dark underground entrance on the side of the hall.
"It's in here."
The captain pointed inside and said, "Torch."
The soldiers immediately lit a torch and brought it over, and the squad leader handed it to Linda.
Linda shook her head, frowning deeply,
"I smell magic power."
Linda snapped her fingers, and a ball of fire appeared, hovering beside her.
Then she walked down the stairs into the basement.
The stone steps were slippery and steep, with unknown slime seeping from the walls.
By the light of the fireball beside her, she saw a chilling sight.
Numerous shriveled corpses were neatly arranged on the ground.
