"Here's another two thousand for you guys to give Wang Erjia. It's a kickback from Mr. Liu!" Biao pulled out another two thousand and handed it to the two of them.
"Thanks, Biao!"
"Biao is really rich!"
The two took the money and kept praising Biao.
"Go back to whatever you're supposed to be doing!" Biao waved them off, signaling for them to return to the dorm.
Once they left, Biao pulled out his phone and went to a secluded spot on campus. He opened his contacts and found Mr. Liu's number.
"Hello, Mr. Liu!"
"Ah Biao, how did it go?" Liu Chan's lazy voice came through.
"The plan was flawless. Lin Tian was expelled from school this afternoon!" Biao's voice was full of schadenfreude.
"Heh heh~ so Mr. Fu acts fast, doesn't he!" Liu Chan was very pleased with the result.
"What should we do next, Mr. Liu?" Biao asked.
"There's nothing for you to do right now. Lin Tian's been expelled, and I'll handle what's next myself!" Liu Chan commanded like he was giving an order, "What are you waiting for? Hurry up and serve this young master!"
"Mr. Liu, you're so naughty, teasing me again!" A woman's coquettish voice came through the phone to Biao's ears.
"Don't you like it?" Mr. Liu chuckled.
"I just like Mr. Liu being naughty to only me!" the woman said seductively.
"Mr. Liu, I won't disturb you and Li Li anymore. I'll hang up now!" Biao wasn't dumb; he could tell what was going on from the phone call.
"Call me anytime if something comes up. I have some proper business to attend to!"
After hanging up, Biao snorted coldly, "Lin Tian, oh Lin Tian, you're truly pitiful!"
Shoving the phone back in his pocket, Biao leisurely headed to the dorm.
Humming a tune, Biao pushed open the dorm door, surprised to find it empty.
"Where did these guys go off to play again?" Biao muttered, walking into the dorm.
Creak, the dorm door was shut.
"Eh?" Biao turned his head in confusion; apparently, he hadn't shut the door.
But when he looked, he was so scared his whole body shuddered.
There stood a figure behind the door, holding a chair leg in the right hand, with a face as gloomy as Lin Tian's.
"You... how did you get here!" Biao was so scared he backed away repeatedly.
"Why can't I be here?" Lin Tian gave Biao a playful look, "I'm leaving school first thing tomorrow, so I thought I'd drop by tonight to see you!"
"Lin Tian! I'm warning you, this is a school, don't do anything rash!" Biao backed into a corner with nowhere else to retreat.
"School?" Lin Tian sneered, "I've already been expelled! Do you know what expelled means?"
"Gulp!" Biao gulped nervously, clutching a nearby bowl in his hand as he nervously watched Lin Tian.
"I'm asking you now, who exactly set me up!" Lin Tian was certain that Biao couldn't have come up with such a plan; he must have been acting on someone's orders.
Biao hesitated for a moment, "No one set you up!"
"Fine, since you won't talk, I'll beat it out of you!" Lin Tian wasted no time, charging straight at Biao.
Seeing this, Biao swung the bowl in his hand at Lin Tian.
Longer reach, stronger power. The chair leg in Lin Tian's hand clearly had the upper hand, and before the bowl could reach him, the chair leg had already struck Biao's hand hard.
"Ah!" Biao screamed as the bowl fell to the ground.
Immediately, Lin Tian's attacks came like a storm, aggressively swinging the chair leg at Biao.
At first, Biao could resist a little, but Lin Tian's chair leg hit his arms and legs persistently. Soon, Biao was lying on the ground, unable to get up.
"I'm asking again, who set me up!" Lin Tian looked down disdainfully at Biao lying on the floor.
"No one ordered me!" Biao still stubbornly refused.
"Bang!" Lin Tian exerted full force, smashing the chair leg hard on Biao's leg, breaking the chair leg into two pieces.
"Ah!" Biao screamed, clutching his right leg in pain, rolling on the ground.
"Bang!" Another hit landed directly on Biao's left leg.
"Will you talk?" Lin Tian asked fiercely.
"Go ahead and kill me!" By this point, Biao, with eyes red from being beaten, had finally given up.
"Fine, as you wish!" Lin Tian grabbed the broken chair leg with both hands, raining blows madly on Biao.
Beating you all over but avoiding the head, that way it won't be fatal, but it'll make you wish you were dead.
It wasn't long before Biao couldn't hold out. He had thought Lin Tian wouldn't dare to kill him, but now it seemed Lin Tian was all in.
He chickened out; in that moment, Biao chickened out, starting to beg for mercy, "Stop, stop, I'll talk!"
"Go on then!" Lin Tian angrily stared at Biao, waiting for him to speak.
"This plan was Liu Chan's idea. Mr. Liu said you made him unhappy, so he wanted to teach you a memorable lesson!" Biao said weakly.
"Just as I thought!" Biao's words matched exactly with what Lin Tian had suspected.
"Since Liu Chan is behind it, you must have his phone number!" Lin Tian asked.
Originally, Lin Tian was already upset with Liu Chan. Now, Liu Chan's sneaky maneuvering behind his back was nothing short of a declaration of war.
If you want a fight, then let's fight. Lin Tian will never back down.
"Yes!" Biao pulled out his own phone.
Lin Tian grabbed it and directly dialed Liu Chan's number.
"Didn't I tell you I was busy with serious matters? Why are you calling me?" Liu Chan was clearly dissatisfied with the call.
"Liu Chan, is it?" Lin Tian asked coldly.
"Who is this..." Silence on the other end for a moment, "Lin Tian?"
"Yes!" Lin Tian nodded, "I'm calling to tell you something!"
"You still think I didn't screw you over enough? Want it even worse?" Liu Chan laughed arrogantly, not taking Lin Tian seriously at all.
"I just want to tell you, wait and see, and don't let me find you, or I'll break your damn legs!" Lin Tian's voice was chilling, dead serious.
"Oh~ playing all tough now, huh? Trying to threaten me?" Liu Chan said dismissively, "How about setting a time and place to meet, see who breaks whose legs?"
"Tomorrow afternoon at two, the alley behind Third High School. If you don't show up, you're my grandson!" Lin Tian hung up and smashed the phone against Biao's head.
"Ow~!" Biao screamed again.
Throwing the broken stool legs on the ground, Lin Tian headed for the door and solemnly said as he left, "Biao, let me tell you, if we meet again, it'll likely be outside the school, and I'll definitely break your damn legs by then!"
Watching Lin Tian's departing figure disappear at the door, Biao swallowed, his heart filled with unease as he wondered if helping Liu Chan this time was a mistake.
Back at the dorm, most of the people were already lying down, except for Wu Yong, who sat on his bed as if waiting for Lin Tian to return.
"You haven't slept yet?" Lin Tian asked upon entering and seeing Wu Yong sitting there.
"You're leaving, can't sleep!"
