As Wang Manzi stepped onto the wooden stairs, the medicinal smell became even stronger.
In a short while, the two reached the second floor of the attic. Surprisingly, the door to this second floor had three locks on it, and it seemed like it hadn't been opened for a long time.
Out of curiosity, Lin Tian glanced a few more times. Wang Manzi explained, "Oh, there are extremely rare medicinal herbs inside. To prevent theft, we put on so many locks. The interior of the second floor is reinforced with steel plates, so if anyone tries to break in forcefully, they'll just fall into traps."
Lin Tian nodded slightly, not asking further questions. Even if he asked, the old man might not tell him the truth. Why bother?
According to Wang Manzi, Wang Shi was on the third floor of the attic, where there was great natural light and potted plants, providing a suitable recuperation environment.
