A day's work ends.

With twenty wheel plows, about ten acres of farmland were cultivated in a day.

If there are no accidents, at the current rate of cultivation until the start of the summer planting, about three thousand acres should be opened up!

Assuming a standard of one thousand pounds of compost per acre, three thousand acres would require fifteen hundred tons of compost!

An adult produces only about four pounds of feces and urine a day. Oxen and draft horses eat more and produce more, about fifty to sixty pounds a day.

Mixing it with mature soil and straw...

Even so, it is far from reaching fifteen hundred tons of compost.

Lynn never imagined that one day he would worry about manure.

Going to other villages or small towns for collection?

Perhaps, this is the best method!

According to Lynn's memory, the villagers now only know to use livestock manure to fertilize crops.
