Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Big Sister Is a Tigress

Professor Huh quoted extensively, explaining the entire history of the Copper Cauldron's development.

Qin Feng didn't listen much; all his attention was on the Copper Cauldron's strange inscriptions.

As soon as the class bell rang, all the students dispersed immediately.

Wang Shengli waved goodbye to Professor Huh and left the classroom, intending to drive away.

Qin Feng hurriedly chased after him with Lin Xia, blocking Wang Shengli's path. He reached out and said, "Hello, Senior Brother Wang, do you have any intention of selling this Copper Cauldron in your collection?"

A gleam flashed through Wang Shengli's eyes as he smiled while shaking Qin Feng's hand, "Junior Brother, what's up, are you interested in collecting Copper Cauldrons?"

Qin Feng nodded and smiled, "Yes, I have a hobby in this area."

Wang Shengli laughed, "Buddy, you really have an eye for things, better than some experts. However, this Copper Cauldron is the treasure of my store. If you like it, you're welcome to come to my shop and take a look. But if you want me to sell it to you, that would be asking for my life!"

Qin Feng smiled faintly, not showing any signs of disappointment.

Lin Xia, standing behind him, couldn't help but say, "Senior Brother Wang, isn't it just a replica? What's so remarkable about it? Name your price, if it's tens of thousands, we can afford it!"

Wang Shengli glanced at Lin Xia, almost getting electrocuted by her gaze, and swallowed hard, "Junior Sister, if you measure this Copper Cauldron with money, it's not just tens of thousands. You've heard of Christie's auction, right? Last week, an Western Zhou Copper Cauldron auctioned there fetched eight figures. If you're sincere about buying, if you can't offer that amount, don't bother!"

"Eight figures!"

Lin Xia's eyes widened upon hearing this, pouting, "Senior Brother Wang, you're really pushing it. Naming such a price for a replica!"

Wang Shengli chuckled, got into the car, and said, "As I said, if you two truly like this Copper Cauldron, come find me at the Treasure Appreciation Studio and take a look. Unless you offer eight figures, don't bother!"

Lin Xia saw Qin Feng's interest and wanted to discuss with him further.

But Qin Feng pulled her arm, smiling faintly at Wang Shengli, "Senior Brother, let's not discuss the Copper Cauldron anymore. But let me remind you, it's best not to mess with things underground. This thing has excessive Yin Qi; if you touch it too much, you'll attract unclean things!"

Fatty Wang shivered inexplicably, immediately spat a few times, and said gloomily, "What do you mean, are you cursing me?"

Qin Feng laughed, "Senior Brother, your face shows ominous signs. My ancestors were in this line of work. If you need help, feel free to come find me!"

Fatty Wang glared at Qin Feng, frowning, "Alright, get out of my way, you rascal!"

With that, he rolled up the car window, stepped on the gas, and drove out of the campus.

Lin Xia contemptuously raised a middle finger, "Tch, what's with the attitude? It's just a broken cauldron, yet you treat it like a treasure!"

Qin Feng patted her shoulder and smiled, "No need to worry. In a few days, he'll come looking for us and hand over the Copper Cauldron for free!"

Lin Xia squinted her eyes with a sly smile, "Brother Qin, you wouldn't have cast a spell on him, would you?"

Qin Feng patted her head and laughed, "What are you talking about? Witchcraft is used by the wicked. That fat guy has attracted something dirty, soon he'll have vengeful spirits asking for his life!"

Seeing Qin Feng's serious expression, Lin Xia couldn't help but look around fearfully and instinctively clung to Qin Feng's arm.

Qin Feng shivered and immediately separated from her, "Xiaoxia, call your sister and see if she has any plans. If she finds out we're wandering around campus, she'll definitely be angry!"

Lin Xia felt a bit uneasy, blushed slightly, and muttered, "You're so afraid of my sister, a grown man listening to her arrangements!"

Qin Feng laughed, "It's not fear for your sister; since I came to the city with her, I should at least let her worry less, right?"

Lin Xia initially wanted to take Qin Feng to a nightclub for some fun, but seeing him like this, she sighed reluctantly, "Alright, I'll contact her now."

As she said this, she took out her phone, just about to call Lin Nan, when her phone suddenly rang, almost causing Lin Xia to drop it.

She frowned and looked, it was Lin Nan calling.

The call connected, and Lin Nan's commanding voice immediately came through the phone, "Lin Xia, where have you taken Qin Feng?"

Lin Xia looked at Qin Feng, pouting, and muttered under her breath, "Tiger mom!"

Qin Feng chuckled, listening as Lin Nan continued to shout, "Lin Xia, do you hear me? Bring Qin Feng back immediately, I have something to tell you both!"

Lin Xia responded impatiently, "Got it, such a nag!"

Before Lin Nan could get angry, she quickly hung up the phone.

Qin Feng dryly laughed, "Your sister has quite the temper!"

Lin Xia held his arm and giggled, "Oh, you've finally noticed. From now on, we'll avoid her and drive her crazy!"

Qin Feng chuckled and, along with Lin Xia, left the campus, soon catching a cab back to the villa.

Lin Nan was pacing around the house with her hands on her hips. She had hoped to solve some major cases after getting promoted to the detective team.

But on her first day at work, Captain Liu Xiangdong instructed her to go undercover at West Capital University.

The higher-ups were highly concerned about drugs entering the school and demanded the detective team solve the case quickly.

Various clues suggested that West Capital City's drug trafficking network was not limited to Shi Yong alone. Moreover, this gang not only trafficked drugs but also dealt in underground relics.

Liu Xiangdong felt immense pressure to gather evidence, penetrate the criminal syndicate from the outside, and clean up the school's drug problem, which could only be done by sending someone undercover.

Lin Nan had a clean record, and her age was suitable for undercover work at this school.

However, Lin Nan didn't see it that way; she wanted to tackle major cases on the front lines, not sneak around as an undercover agent.

When Lin Xia and Qin Feng entered, seeing her fierce demeanor, they immediately froze at the doorway.

Lin Nan pointed at them, shouting, "Can you two stop making me worry? Running around all day aimlessly, can't find you anywhere, do you know how worried I am?"

Lin Xia defiantly retorted, "Sis, is it necessary to get this angry? I just took Brother Qin to the school, didn't do anything bad!"

Qin Feng just stood by smiling dumbly, unwilling to get involved in the sisters' issues.

Lin Nan glared at Lin Xia, exhaling deeply with her arms crossed, and instructed, "Go pack your things. I've rented an apartment near the school; we'll be living there from now on!"

Lin Xia had just sat down on the sofa, furrowing her brows in annoyance, "Ah, are we really moving? With Brother Qin around, what are you afraid of?"

Lin Nan put her right hand on her hip, pointing with her left hand at the bedroom, and loudly instructed Lin Xia, "Lin Xia, this is an order. If you don't start behaving, don't bother trying to freeload here in the future!"

"Understood, Officer Lin.

Lin Xia helplessly muttered under her breath, walking away while quietly grumbling, "What's the big deal, one day when Brother Qin and I make money, we won't bother you anymore!"
