Chapter 12 - Chapter 12: Spirit Treasure Pavilion

"Perhaps." Shrugging his shoulders, Lu Qing smiled and said, "In a few days, isn't the Saintess of the Profound Moon Sword Sect coming to Jubei City? Just find an opportunity to ask her."

"Can Brother Lu introduce me to the Saintess?" Wang Junze asked again.

"Haha, you're overestimating me. I don't have that ability." Shaking his head, Lu Qing replied with a laugh.

Without giving Wang Junze a chance to ask more, Lu Qing said directly, "I have some things to attend to outside, feel free to do as you please."

Watching Lu Qing leave the inn, Wang Junze shook his head, temporarily suppressing his thoughts, and continued practicing his swordsmanship.

It was just a probe earlier, and what Lu Qing said might not necessarily be true. Considering these things now was meaningless. However, Lu Qing mentioned not to join minor sects and families lightly, which clearly showed that Lu Qing looked down on the forces in Jubei City. Even if he had no ties with the Profound Moon Sword Sect, his background wouldn't be insignificant.

From morning until noon, Wang Junze completed the practice of ten thousand sword strokes.

After eating at the inn, Wang Junze finally left.

Although Lu Qing allowed him to stay at the inn temporarily, Wang Junze still needed to go out, look around, and find opportunities. To truly establish himself in Jubei City, he had to rely on his own efforts. He couldn't just sit idly and use up everything. Although he had seized quite a bit of money from Wang Xin, it was only enough for normal expenses and far from sufficient for acquiring cultivation resources.

Also, he needed to gather more information about the Profound Moon Sword Sect.

From the current situation, perhaps finding a way to approach the Saintess Xuan Yue and joining the Profound Moon Sword Sect was his best option.

Coming out of the inn, Wang Junze first found a clothing store, bought a white robe to change into, and then went to the Spirit Treasure Pavilion of Jubei City.

The Spirit Treasure Pavilion was the most famous shop in Jubei City, selling weapons and treasures needed by martial artists. After all, for a true martial artist, ordinary weapons couldn't withstand the impact of True Qi. Just like Wang Junze's previous iron sword, one strike could destroy the sword.

Currently, Wang Junze's most urgent need was naturally to get a new sword. It didn't have to be excellent, but at least it had to withstand True Qi at the Meridian Opening Realm.

Luckily, Wang Junze had first bought a new set of clothes; otherwise, if he had been wearing the cheap clothes prepared by the servant, he feared he wouldn't have even been able to enter the doors of the Spirit Treasure Pavilion.

"Young master, may I ask what you wish to purchase? I can assist with introductions."

As soon as he stepped into the Spirit Treasure Pavilion, a maid greeted him.

This was also a feature of the Spirit Treasure Pavilion, where all the receptionists were young women.

"A sword!" Slightly nodding, Wang Junze answered softly.

"What grade of Treasure Sword does the young master desire? We offer three grades: Mortal, Spirit, and Treasure." The woman continued to ask with a smile.

"How so?"

Raising an eyebrow, Wang Junze inquired again.

"Mortal grade are ordinary weapons but made of special materials. If you are a newly opened vein martial artist with weak True Qi, Mortal grade weapons will suffice!" The woman patiently explained, "Spirit grade are Spiritual Artifacts. For those in the Condensing Truth or Refining Spirit Realm, such treasures are needed to fully utilize their strength. As for Treasure grade... these are Spirit Treasures personally forged by our city's Artifact Refining Masters and are inherently powerful. Each one is extremely valuable, and of course, very expensive."

"Mortal grade is fine!" After thinking for a while, Wang Junze decided.

Actually, considering his current strength, Mortal grade weapons weren't sufficiently suitable. After all, though he had just opened his veins, he had opened eighty-one veins. Once he unleashed his full strength, the intensity of his True Qi wasn't inferior to that of an average Condensing Truth Martial Artist.

However, needless to say, not to mention expensive Treasure grade, even Spirit Treasure Level weapons must be expensive. Just relying on the money seized from Wang Xin was definitely insufficient. He could only settle for a Mortal grade sword for now and figure out a solution later.

Noticing that Wang Junze only wanted Mortal grade weapons, the enthusiasm in the woman's eyes diminished slightly, but she still patiently said, "Please follow me, young master."

However, at this moment, a mocking voice suddenly echoed not far away.

"Yo, isn't this the eldest Young Master of the Wang Family? Doesn't he have any awareness? How could our Young Master Wang be satisfied with Mortal grade weapons? Bring out the Treasure grade ones; otherwise, how can it match Young Master Wang's status!"

With a slight twitch of his eyelid, Wang Junze looked in the direction of the voice and quickly recognized the person.

It was the third young master of the Lin Family, the biggest family in Jubei City, Lin Binqiang.

This could indeed be considered an old acquaintance of Wang Junze's. Three years ago, when Wang Junze came to Jubei City for Opening Veins, it was simultaneously with this Lin Family's third young master.

Before Opening Veins, Wang Junze was immensely popular, vaguely known as the most gifted prodigy among Jubei City's young generation, while Lin Binqiang could only look up to him. But unexpectedly, Wang Junze failed in Opening Veins, becoming a laughingstock as someone with an Innate Wasted Vein, while Lin Binqiang successfully opened twenty-one veins, becoming a Lin Family prodigy!
