Chapter 1 - The Prologue

"Delusion" can be often described as a false belief that someone holds onto, even when there is clear evidence that it is not real. Many people consider delusions as a mental health condition, whereas, some people find them just as a way of happiness. Scientifically, delusions prove to be a mental health condition caused by disturbed cognitive and social processing. But from a phenomenological point of view, delusion is considered as a subjective experience of deluded individual, exploring how their lived experiences have shaped their perception of reality.

Avantika 's delusion of adults being always happy was not a mental sickness, but more like a reason for her to be happy. She held onto this particular belief because somewhere in her heart she wanted to be a happy adult. Maybe she wanted to overlook life's dark side, or maybe it was "JUST" a phase of "DELUSION ".
