A group of merry bandits were currently living it up. "Keep drinkin' you louts! Today's raid was a complete success!" As they continued their celebration one bandit began to speak up. "Walking around the forest at night with all that art shit on him... merchants are getting pretty careless i say."
Another bald bandit spike up. "Ya catch a glimpse of that hag's face as she croaked?" The other bandit replies with glee. "Yeah! "Please let myself son live!" What a joke man. So then I said. "If ya wanna live show me yer valu..." his head then slides off as two fierce yellow orbs blend in with the darkness.
As the bandits scramble to mount some kind of defense they are one by one picked off like a horror movie as the final bandit attempted to run away from the what seemed like living shadow zips downwards revealing a small ten year old girl who had piercing Aurelion yellow eyes that seemed like twin moons.
This was Chloé who was wearing a female version of Cid's slime suit with the addition of a mouth covering face mask. "I beat his best i think it was 1 minute so I can only hope so. Anyways that tarp over here should have Alpha." Walking over sure energy there is a blob of rotting flesh inside of a cage so she opens it.
"The slime sword, and suit seem to work just fine. Now let's hope I don't take an entire month to save you." With a sad smile she picks up future Alpha's blob self, and heads to one of the abandoned buildings.
(1 month Timeskip)
On the one month mark Chloé managed to to get it right completely healing Alpha who now was looking around shocked. "How my body was almost rotten completely how did i turn back to normal...?! How can i ever repay you?" Smiling softly Chloé begins her proformance.
"Your curse has been lifted child of the heroes, but the fight has truly just begun. I fight a secret society known as The Cult of Diablos. They are the ones responsible for your suffering, and do all their tactics in the shadows I employ the same scheme to combat their darkness as they inch closer to their main goal of reviving the great demon."
Alpha then gasps at this information. "So instead of being revered were considered vile?! And they want to revive the great demon isn't it just a fairy tail." Nodding at Alpha Chloé continues. "That's correct they are a massive organization with their roots deep into everything twisted history to fit their own narrative. Leading off that they of course covered up the reality of the situation."
After a dramatic pause Chloé continues. "So with that in mind We Are Shadow Garden. We Lurk in the Shadows in order to hunt the Shadows. Preventing the revival of Diablos is no small feat. If we fail the world is slated for destruction so I will ask one final time. Child of the heroes won't you help me in this goal?"
"The Cult of Diablos... if their influence allows them to falsify history, then they must hold immense power. Like me many others are forsaken to die with the truth hidden, but such a notion cannot be allowed to continue! With that in mind I shall put my life on the line for Shadow Garden, and punish these sinners with the death they deserve for their atrocities."
Chloé gains a glint of approval in her eyes as she continues. "Alright good my name shall be Nacht,and you shall respond to the name Alpha. We will save as many as possible. 'I'm glad I happened to save Yukime, and Rose on time same with Alpha here I didn't know when or where they were so I got immensely lucky.'
(Three year Timeskip)
'In these past three years I dreaded today the most. Her kidnapping event is right now let's hope my acting is up to code.'
(Scene Change)
Her oldest daughter had been kidnapped, and now she could only stare at her youngest daughter's lifeless eyes staring like a endless void with a waterfall of tears falling out, and it broke her seeing her daughter so... lifeless. "Sweetheart it's gonna be ok we'll find your sister just go rest ok?"
Meekly nodding Chloé walks off to her room. As she walked down the hallway with a maid her expression changed drastically. "Beta where is Alpha?" The maid then had slime surround her before swiftly retreating revealing a silverish blue elf girl.
"Lady Nacht she is currently looking for clues as to the whereabouts of miss Claire." They then arrived in Chloé's bedroom Beta lays out a map on the table in the middle of the room. "Lady Nacht we–" Beta looks up seeing a shush motion so she quickly shuts up. "Their hideout isn't in the North that one is a fake. It's really in the South specifically an abandoned mine in Vicount Greese's territory.
So summon the seven shadows we move out tonight." Beta for her part was writing down notes the entire time Chloé spoke. "Also tell the others thank you... I really don't know their strength the cultist i mean so it helps to never underestimate your opponent, and to remain vigilant at all times. I'm done now Beta you may leave to tell the others now sorry for holding you up so long."
Beta shakes her head, and smiles before leaping out the window silently leaping from tree to tree off to Shadow Garden's base. 'I'm beyond happy that I manged to get Alexandria or in my case Walpurgisnacht... yea it's kind of a cliché name but who cares. More importantly should I use a Spear or Nodachi to fight the Vicount? I'm thinking I'll use a slime sword Ebony Blade from Skyrim.'
Nodding to herself on the idea Chloé heads to the desk in the corner of the room, and begins to write a note:

Dear Mom, and Baldy.
I'll be going to train outside for awhile I'll be back in a little bit their is a sword technique I developed, and wanna go to test it out as i don't want to feel this powerless again. With much love your daughter Chloé.

Having finished her letter Chloé stands up with piercing yellow eyes stare up at the sky with a gaze of Finality, and a promise of retribution. "Nobody messes with my family, and lives to tell the tale."
