*SAM POV*
I am Sam Boone, soon to be alpha of the Tracker Pack; we specialize in hunting down rouges. We are in the middle of the continent, there are 4 packs total, giant ones. Theres Blackstone Pack, Moonlight Pack, Heartsong Pack, Black Sea Pack. Blackstone is on the righthand side of the continent, black sea along the coastline, heartsong to the left and then us, right in the middle. Me and my group of friends are getting our wolves today, theres 7 of us total.
Drake Dawson: hes the soon to be alpha of one of the neighboring packs, Blackstone Pack, he's also my brother. He was adopted after his parents who were the alpha and luna had died in a rouge attack. So naturally he's taking over after he gets his wolf. Stands at 6ft and has jet black hair, his eyes are a stark brown, sometimes i swear they are black tho. Hes the serious one of the bunch.
Carson Black: he was adopted young by my parents when no one else would take him. We have no idea where he comes from but since the other neighboring pack, Black Sea Pack doesnt have any hiers; they wanted him to take over. So all three of us have been trained as alphas to take over our respective packs. His hair a sandy blonde and blue eyes are the classic for female swooning. He stands 6 ft as well, and has quite the sense of humor.
Grayson Sterling: He's the packs head warriors son, the head warrior is the one in charge of the troops and a BEAST on the battlefield. He's one hell of a fighter, he is in my pack and cannot wait for our wonderful leadership thats gonna take place. Ive chosen him also as my beta, the betas now dont have an heir so hes the next bes thing. He stands at 5 ft 11 inches tall and his brown hair and hazel eyes are perfect for his face covered in a neatly trimmed beard. A scar on his face above his eyebrow from a rouge attacking him when he was 10 and failed to kill him is a stark reminder why no one messes with him. He comes off standoffish at first but is a real teddy bear when you're on the friend side of him.
Kendra Nelson: She's the beautiful one, standing at 5 ft 7, green eyes and red hair, shes the embodiment of beauty for everyone. She could get any male wolf she wanted by just the curl of her finger. She is in Heartsong Pack and is known for her beautiful singing and looks.
Heather Stevens: Standing also at 5 ft 7 her jet black hair and hazel eyes, she is the serious girl in the group. Her and Drake have been crushing on each other since the beginning. I only know cause I can tell by the way they act around one another. I am hoping they are mates, that would be cool. She is in Blackstone Pack and is known for being kind and for putting other people before herself. She would make a great luna.
Sarah Brown: She stands at 5 ft 4, and has brown hair and emrald green eyes, she has been crushing on Greyson since shes laid eyes on him. I dont think Greyson has noticed her, he's always looking at Kendra. She is in my pack, she is known for her brains, she is incredibly smart; especially when it comes to battle strategies, but shes smart with pretty much everything.
Carrie Nelson: standing 5 ft 8 and silver platinum hair with equally silver eyes, she was known as a freak for her outstanding features. But those features drew me into her, I like her a lot. She's known for her caring and soft personality and she is in Black Sea Pack and has no relation to Kendra. She would make a great luna as well.
Then theres me.
Sam Boone: Standing at 6 ft 1 having golden brown hair and golden hazel eyes, I've been told my confidence and strong aura I present make it hard for people to approach me. I would like to think im known for my leadership and kind personality but I can never tell. Maybe i should ask Greyson, he won't beat around the bush or lie to me.
Now that you've met everyone, lets get to the events of today. My phone dings as we wrap up the last class of the day.
Kendra: Meet you guys in our normal spot?
Greyson: Fine.
Sarah: Can't wait.
Me: I'll be there.
Drake: On the way now!
Carrie: Okay!
Carson: Sure!
Heather: See you guys soon!
I smile as all of us confirmed the meet up, I walk to my car, a 2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat, my dad and me have tuned this up a lot in our spare time.
"Hey, Sam. Can I ride with you?" Greysons voice catches my attention. I look up as he approaches my car.
"Yea man, hop in." I reply, as we both put our bags in the trunk and hop into the car, I start it up and head straight to the picknic area we'vemade our home for the past 5 years we have all been friends. Course my brothers, Greyson and I have all been friends since the beginning. We have all lived with each other or known each other, the rest kinda joined in one right after the other.
As we pull up to the picnic tables I can see that Kendra, Drake and Heather were already there, Greyson and I arrived at the same time Carrie and Carson did, Sarah not 2 minutes later.
"Hey guys! I've missed you all!" Kendra exlaims, we all smile faintly.
"Are you guys ready for this?" I ask
Everyone exchanges glances, then nods.
"Under the full moon we will all shift together and no matter what, we will all remain friends!" I say again before everyone gives a solid "of course" or "yea".
"Everyone bring a spare change of clothes?" Sarah asks the group. We all nod and hold up our bags.
"Mine and Greyson's are in the car, I'll go get em." I say as i walk to my car and get the bags of clothes and walk back to the tables.
"Come, we will get fire wood." Greyson told Drake as Drake nods and grunts his response they go off insearch of firewood. I walk off into the distance, stopping not far from the rest of the group and look off into the sky.
"Are you gonna come sit by the fire?" Carrie asks softly with a smile. I look past her to see that the fire was already built and someone had brought lawn chairs out to sit on. I nod and walk with her to the area and pick an empty chair next to Carrie.
My phone pings.
Mom: I know you're with your friends, just be careful tonight and I hope your wolf is eveything you hoped for! I love you Sam.
Me: I will be careful mom, we are all here at the picnic area away from everyone. I love you too mom.
I smile as I put my phone back onto the table. Kendra is sitting in Carsons lap as they cuddle into each other. I look around to the rest of the group. I look back up into the sky.
"Everyone get ready, the moon is right here, it wont be long." I say as we all get up and walk a ways away from the fire and the vehicles. We all stand in a circle looking up at the moon.
The sounds of bones snapping follow not too long after, grunts and whimpers of pain mixed int between. The sounds stop and we all open our eyes to find that Carrie hadnt shifted yet, she looks disappointed and on the verge of tears. I step forward and lick the side of her face and sit as she hugs into me and sobs quietly.
I look around again and get s better look at everyone, Carsons deep blue fur, Kendras bright red fur, Sarah and Greysons blood red fur, Heather and Drakes black fur and mine a dark grey. Ive never seen wolves of this color or size before. They are normally white, black or brown and a slight bit smaller than this.
Thats because we are gods. Hello Sam, I am Zeus. My eyes widen.
As in the greek god Zeus? I ask
