Chapter 3 - Chapter 2: The Awakening Experiment

The Doctor, who named himself after Dr. Who had spent his entire life obsessed with one goal: unlocking the hidden potential within the human mind. While others marveled at technological progress and the frontiers of artificial intelligence, The Doctor saw those merely as tools, means to an end. His true vision extended beyond anything modern science could grasp—the ultimate evolution of the human consciousness.

Like Elon Musk's vision of Mars, everything The Doctor did revolved around his singular dream. From an early age, he devoured every piece of scientific literature on neural plasticity, quantum mechanics, and consciousness theories. He watched every sci-fi movie, played every video game, and read every book, comic, and even fanfiction he could get his hands on. He also studied any media that explored human evolution and psychic potential. He believed that humanity was not bound by its physical limitations, that with the right push, the mind could transcend what was considered possible.

To fund his research, The Doctor pioneered an advanced artificial intelligence system—ARCHIMEDES. A marvel of computing power, ARCHIMEDES was leagues ahead of its time, capable of deep-learning adaptation, autonomous problem-solving, and groundbreaking scientific simulations. With the AI's help, The Doctor capitalized on his inventions, amassing vast wealth, which he funneled into his personal research.

Years passed, and the culmination of his work led to a breakthrough—a project he named "The Awakening Experiment." ARCHIMEDES had run countless simulations, all leading to the same conclusion: a 99% chance of success. The experiment would unlock the dormant potential of the human mind by synchronizing brainwaves with quantum energy fields, effectively awakening new abilities and his psychic potential. However, there was one catch—he needed a human test subject.

Rather than endanger another, The Doctor, in a moment of hubris, chose himself. He was confident, prepared. If all the simulations were correct, he would become the first awakened human, the pioneer of a new age. He entered his lab, surrounded by machines that pulsed with power. At the heart of the experiment was the Quantum Neural Accelerator, a device designed to bridge the mind's latent abilities with the infinite energy of the universe.

As the machine activated, a surge of power coursed through him. At first, it was exhilarating. He felt his mind expanding, touching distant realms beyond his comprehension. But something was wrong—his body wasn't built to withstand the sheer magnitude of power now flooding through him. Every nerve in his body burned. His muscles collapsed, his heart stopped, and his vision darkened.

But he did not die, at least not completely.

His body withered, but his consciousness remained. No, it was more than that—his soul had awakened, completely untethered from the mortal coil. He had transcended the physical plane. And at that moment, he realized his newfound ability: teleportation. Not just across space, but across dimensions, across realities. His mind reached out beyond the confines of his world, into the infinite vastness of the Omniverse.

The force of his teleportation ripped through existence itself, flinging his disembodied soul across dimensions. Stars blurred past him, galaxies collapsed and reformed in his wake. He could see a new universe materializing before him. His consciousness, untethered and raw, sought stability, sought a vessel.

And then, he found it.

A woman, laying in a luxurious bedroom, cradling her stomach as her unborn child stirred within. The fetus was fragile, yet full of untapped potential. The Doctor's spirit was drawn to it, merging with the tiny form. He did not replace the nascent soul in the fetus but instead merged with it creating a new, abnormally powerful soul. A surge of energy rippled through the unborn body, subtly altering its genetic code, reshaping it to withstand the power it would one day wield.

He was being reborn.

As the days passed, Maria and Howard noticed something strange. Their unborn child was different. Doctors noted a unique energy pattern emanating from the fetus, but they dismissed it as anomalies. Maria, however, felt it. She knew her son would be special.

Months later, on a fateful day, Anthony Edward Stark was born.

His first breath carried the echoes of a past life. His mind, though clouded in infancy, held the knowledge and experiences of a man who had once sought to transcend human limitations. The omniversal energy within him pulsed, lying dormant yet waiting for the right moment to awaken once more.

And so, Tony Stark's Journey in the Omniverse began.
