Chapter 181 - CHAPTER-181

"The moon tonight… looks like a boat?"

Wanda and the others froze for a moment.

Then their expressions changed drastically.

The reason the Mink Tribe had long been targeted as valuable commodities on the seas was their innate ability to transform and unleash explosive power.

On nights of the full moon, when they gazed upon its light, they could transform into beings known as Sulong—Moon Lion forms.

Once transformed, their strength and speed could multiply several times over. Even their signature electric attacks would become vastly more powerful.

It was like activating a cheat code.

But this power came with a price. Not every Mink could control the surge of strength and the wild instincts that came with the transformation.

Those lacking combat experience or proper training, if they accidentally looked at the full moon and entered Sulong form, would become uncontrollable monsters.

A Sulong gone berserk was a nightmare for everyone.

Especially someone like Carrot, who was seen as a future leader by both kings.

If she lost control and transformed, it would be a disaster for everyone present.

Only the two kings might be able to subdue her.

Anyone else? Not a chance.

"Carrot, what are you saying? Did you just look at the moon?"

Wanda rushed to cover Carrot's eyes, her voice filled with urgency.

But before anyone could react, a crackling sound of electricity erupted from Carrot's body like firecrackers.

Pedro's face changed drastically as he shouted:

"Wanda, get back! Carrot really saw the moon—she can't control her Sulong form! Watch out!"

ROAR!

A wild, primal howl tore through the air.

Lightning exploded from Carrot's body.

The once-cute bunny girl transformed in an instant—her eyes now cold, her waist-length white hair flowing, her face fierce and regal.

Wanda's face turned pale. She leapt back instinctively.

"Alert the kings immediately! Carrot's entered Sulong form—we can't subdue her alone!"

BOOM!

A violent burst of lightning exploded outward.

Carrot roared and shot forward like a bolt of white lightning, charging straight at Wanda and the others.

Pedro, her mentor, turned pale. Though usually stern with Carrot, he knew just how terrifying her Sulong form could be. That's why she was chosen as a potential successor.

"Wanda, move! We'll cover you!"

BANG!

Before he could finish, Wanda was struck like a cannonball, sent flying by the blast of lightning. The surrounding Minks were thrown back as well—even Pedro wasn't spared.

He barely managed to land seven or eight meters away and looked up in alarm.

BOOM!

Wanda crashed into a stone monument hundreds of meters away.

The impact shattered the monument, embedding her into the stone. She was completely immobilized.

As Carrot charged again, claws crackling with lightning, Wanda's face twisted with bitterness.

"Pedro! Get everyone out of here! Only the two kings together might be able to stop her. Otherwise, we'll have to let her burn out her energy!"

"Don't worry about me—I'll survive!"

Pedro and the others looked grim.

They knew Carrot's power well.

Yes, the two kings could subdue her unharmed.

But those two hadn't spoken in decades.

Getting them to work together? That was harder than climbing to the moon.

As Carrot streaked toward Wanda like a bolt of lightning, they could only watch helplessly.

Wanda, seeing the rapidly approaching figure in her pupils, struggled bitterly to move—just enough to avoid a fatal blow.

But before she could act—

A figure appeared in front of her, completely unexpected.

Her pupils shrank in shock.

This sudden arrival was beyond anything she could have imagined.

Even more shocking—this stranger didn't even react to Carrot's ferocious attack.

He simply stood there, unmoving, not even raising a hand.

Was he planning to block it… with his face?

BOOM!

Endless lightning poured down.

The full force of Carrot's attack struck like divine wrath, exploding in a storm of energy.

Wanda, Pedro, and the others all flinched.

Who was this guy?

And more importantly—did his face hurt?

No—what was even happening?

As the dust settled, all eyes turned to the two figures at the center.

What they saw made their pupils contract in disbelief.

He blocked it.

The attack they believed only the two kings could withstand—this man had stopped it.

And he hadn't even moved.

He had blocked Carrot's devastating strike just by standing there.

If they hadn't seen it with their own eyes, they wouldn't have believed it.

"Look! Carrot's attack stopped an inch from him! There's golden light around him—and a giant Kannon behind him!"

A member of the Musketeer Squad cried out in shock.

As he spoke, the thousand-armed Kannon behind Luo Yu materialized, shielding him like a divine guardian.

The arcs of lightning were completely blocked.

Standing face-to-face with Carrot, Luo Yu raised his wine gourd, took a sip, and said calmly:

"Apologies for the disturbance, everyone."

"I came here to meet with the 40 million… no, I mean, to meet your two kings. I hope there's no misunderstanding."

"Pedro, Wanda—could you help me arrange an audience?"

"You… know us?"

Pedro and Wanda's expressions changed.

The Mink Tribe had always lived in isolation.

Only Pedro had ever ventured out to sea.

It made sense if someone recognized Pedro.

But to know Wanda's name too? That was unexpected.

Before they could respond, their eyes widened again.

Looking up, they saw a massive shadow growing in the sky.

Carrot had been right—

There really was a ship flying overhead.
