Chapter 243 - CHAPTER-243

The thunderous voice echoed across the ruins of Marineford, lingering in the air long after the sound had faded.

Through the Den Den Mushi broadcast, it spread across the entire sea.

At first, many were stunned by Morgans' final declaration. But soon, a wave of victorious joy swept through them.

Especially at the repeated mention of the "Fourth Admiral."

Even Sengoku was no exception.

Just as Dark King Rayleigh had said earlier—

This time, the Navy had struck gold.

If Luo Yu hadn't emerged when he did…

Faced with two simultaneous battlefronts, plus the looming threats of the Roger remnants and the Red-Haired Pirates—

The Navy might have been staring down total annihilation.

As Morgans' news ship disappeared into the distance, the battlefield began to recover in an orderly fashion.

Naval officers at every level threw themselves into post-battle operations.

At last, Tsuru couldn't hold back and asked:

"Sengoku, are you heading to meet the Five Elders immediately?"

"Why not take Garp with you? With him, you might have a better chance."

As the Navy's symbol of justice, Garp had long been hailed as a hero.

Not just for the legendary God Valley incident or chasing Roger across the seas—

But also thanks to the quiet efforts of Sengoku and Tsuru to uphold his mythos.

Without that "Hero" title as a shield, Garp might have died a dozen times over.

But now, Luo Yu had emerged—a far greater variable than Garp ever was.

He had single-handedly crushed two battlefronts.

Not even the Five Elders had seen that coming.

And neither had Sengoku.

As Fleet Admiral, he knew: the Five Elders would not let this go.

"You want me to bring Garp?" Sengoku rolled his eyes and waved it off.

"He'd cause more trouble than help."

"What if he blurts out, 'That Luo Yu who just wrecked a Five Elder? Yeah, I recommended him!'"

"We wouldn't even get a word in before getting thrown out."

"I'll go alone."

"Besides, Commander Kong is still in the World Government. Even if the Five Elders are furious, they won't kill me."

"Though… I'll probably lose a layer of skin. I mean, who would've thought Luo Yu would actually strike a Five Elder—and send Nusjuro running?"

"Just thinking about it gives me a headache… but damn, seeing Nusjuro flee like that? That was satisfying."

"Hahaha…"

Tsuru gave him a helpless look.

But Sengoku had made up his mind. She simply patted his shoulder and turned to leave.

"Don't go dying on me, old friend. You're still the Navy's strategist."

"Heh… Tsuru, you're unusually sentimental today. But thanks."

With that, Sengoku picked his direction and leapt toward Mary Geoise.

Meanwhile, in the Highest Hall of the Holy Land…

A disheveled figure stumbled through the grand doors.

Once flamboyant in his flamingo-feathered coat, Donquixote Doflamingo now looked like a plucked chicken. His sunglasses were broken, his pride shattered.

He would never have shown himself in such a state—if not for the nightmare still fresh in his mind.

The battle at Impel Down had been a disaster.

Even Kaido, the so-called strongest creature alive, had been defeated in a single exchange.

It defied everything Doflamingo thought he knew.

If not for his String-String Fruit allowing him to escape across the sea, he'd be dead too.

"Doffy? What happened to you?"

From the high seat, Saint Shepherd Ju Peter frowned.

As a Celestial Dragon who claimed to hold the greatest secrets of the World Nobles—

He and the other Five Elders had long used Doflamingo as a pawn in the shadows.

They had backed him repeatedly, even allowing his alliance with Kaido.

They had even coordinated with Blackbeard and Shiryu to set the perfect trap.

And yet, Luo Yu had crushed it all.

If Doflamingo had died, they wouldn't have shed a tear.

But now that he was alive, the secrets he carried were once again a liability.

"Ju Peter, you bastard!" Doflamingo snarled, his face twisted.

"You promised this plan would work! That bastard would be dead by now! That's the only reason I agreed to help you!"

"I spent decades building everything—and now it's all gone!"

"You swore this would succeed! Now I've lost everything! And don't think you can just sit there safe—I'll expose the secrets of the Celestial Dragons!"

His screams echoed through the hall.

Behind Ju Peter, the towering figure of Saint Marcus Mars—broad-shouldered and bearded—stepped forward, voice like thunder.

"Enough, Doflamingo! Don't forget where you are."

"Everything we gave you—we can take back."

"That brat survived because you were weak. You forced our hand."

"We Five Elders had to act!"

"And that's unforgivable!"

"The Five Elders acted?"

Doflamingo froze, stunned.

He scanned the room.

"You're saying Nusjuro went after that brat himself?"

"What's your plan? What happened?"

After seeing Kaido fall, Doflamingo's faith had crumbled.

Only the Five Elders could still give him hope.

Ju Peter gripped his cane tightly.

"Hmph. Don't worry, Doflamingo. The plan was thorough. Nusjuro left some time ago. I'm sure he's handled it."

"He's impulsive, yes—but his strength is beyond your comprehension."

"CP0—contact our eyes in Marineford. I want a full report."

Outside the hall, a CP0 agent rushed in, flipping open a Den Den Mushi.

"Lord Ju Peter, please wait. We've just received urgent intel."

"I'll project it now."

He activated the feed.

A few bold words appeared in the air.

And in that instant, everyone's breath caught.

Their nerves snapped taut.

Their eyes widened.

"FIVE ELDER—DEFEATED."
