Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Bro, Time to Transform

Luke sat on the soft couch with a horrified expression. The owner of the apartment he was in was someone who called themselves "The Author."

The Author said to Luke, "Actually, you're the protagonist of a fanfiction I wrote."

Luke replied, "Are you an idiot?"

The Author continued, "Actually, you're a woman."

Then Luke felt around his body… and found something the whole world longed for.

And so, Luke knelt.

Once the Author confirmed Luke had submitted, he continued explaining the situation and Luke's future.

"Don't worry, I'll mostly be a recorder of your life rather than a writer. As long as you don't go off script, I won't interfere. Now, your next identity is that of a transmigrator heading into the Marvel Universe…"

As the saying goes, like the author, like the protagonist—Luke immediately accepted his character setup and got to the key question: "So, what's my cheat ability?"

Author: How did you know there'd be a cheat?

Luke: If I (you) went into the Marvel Universe with our current intelligence and no cheat, it would have to be a short story.

The two exchanged a look.

"As for the cheat," the Author rubbed his chin. "How about starting as a Kryptonian? After all, I write power fantasies."

Luke replied, "Hmm… I think I'd rather keep my human identity. Otherwise, if I get married later, I'll feel like I'm cheating on myself…"

"Well, a human being as strong as Superman isn't very scientific either. How about we merge you with Kryptonian genes, like that kid from Superman Returns?"

Luke thought about it and agreed. "Sounds okay."

"Alright then, it's settled. Off you go!"

With that, the Author snapped his fingers, and Luke disappeared on the spot.

"Now should I make this a harem story or not?"

Gazing at the spot Luke vanished from, the Author fell into deep thought as the couch slowly puffed back up.

"Harem stories aren't as hot as they used to be. Is it because authors are too tired to write them, or readers too tired to read them?"

Meanwhile, Luke had already started his journey in another world—and was on the verge of going crazy.

There had been a previous case of Kryptonian-human gene fusion—Superman's son in Superman Returns, a natural offspring. But there was also one artificial case… Doomsday, from Batman v Superman.

Under some twisted internal logic, Luke's new character… became that.

And so came the problem: Young Superman couldn't control his X-ray vision. Grown Kryptonian generals lost control the moment their heat vision activated. As for Luke, a freshly mutated Doomsday hybrid… could he keep it under control?

Worse still, Luke realized just how terrifying the mind of a science student author could be.

In Superman films, the energy Superman absorbs from the sun and the energy he outputs during battle are not equal. It's like filling a tiny car with gas and having it circle the Earth ten times.

So, what if instead of gas, it was electricity—and you put an engine on the wheels? If the energy generated exceeds the energy consumed… that's practically a powered-up perpetual motion machine.

Compared to Superman strengthening himself with slow sunbathing, Doomsday's ability to absorb and amplify energy is OP. The mindless original Doomsday only consumed just enough to sustain itself, but Luke had a full cognitive function. Without a superpower to manage energy, he'd have to balance the energy loop manually—by releasing excess energy generated by the "engine."

That means Superman's slow growth via sunbathing was the normal path. You've got to eat one bite at a time.

"I should've learned to control my body before I came here…"

As the scenery around him shifted from a dim, cramped apartment to a chaotic street flooded with people, Luke knew—he was screwed.

It was supposed to be just another peaceful night in New York.

At least, that's how it looks on camera—no homeless folks, no police conflicts, no illegal activity.

In Harlem, Manhattan, nightlife was just beginning. People strolled in groups, kids pressed their faces to toy store windows, office workers scanned storefronts wondering what to buy on the way home, and a driver cursed loudly after slamming the brakes—startled by Luke suddenly appearing in the middle of the road.

A massive surge of energy rushed Luke's mind. Unprepared, he collapsed to his knees, face contorted in pain. It felt like something enormous inside him was about to tear through his skin.

The next second, a nearly 3-meter-tall humanoid figure exploded the peace and prosperity of the street.

Doomsday—uh, well, not quite formed yet…

"Did I just drop into a movie set?"

Spotting a poop-colored giant barreling into the street not far away, Luke froze. He had landed smack in the middle of the Hulk vs. Abomination battle. But before he could process it, another wave of pain forced him to focus on suppressing the erupting energy inside.

If someone had a detector, they'd see a faint energy layer covering Luke's skin. The energy bursting from within was immediately reabsorbed in a constant loop.

"I need a stronger opponent!"

"HULK! WHERE ARE YOU?!"

"COME OUT AND FACE ME!"

Nearby, the newly empowered Emil Blonsky—now Abomination—roared as he charged forward, smashing everything in his path… right toward Luke. Meanwhile, the military prepared to intercept, rapidly converging on the area.

Chaos broke loose. Pedestrians screamed and scattered toward shops or ran in the opposite direction. Amid the panic, a hand reached for Luke's arm. A woman—perhaps mistaking him for a frightened or fallen civilian—was trying to help him up.

She was… a good person.

"Don't… touch me!"

Luke growled through clenched teeth. Too late. The sudden energy surge burst out in a shockwave, flinging the woman hard into a car door, leaving a huge dent in the metal. She nearly blacked out from the pain, her stunned face frozen in disbelief.

"What the…"

And then, something even more unbelievable happened.

Maybe it was hitting his limit, or maybe he relaxed a bit knowing he didn't kill her—but Luke's skin finally cracked. Bronze-colored muscle—or some other material—burst forth. His human form rapidly expanded.

Muttering "Please don't be ugly, please don't be ugly," Luke transformed into a giant even bigger than Abomination. Thanks to his control, he ended up looking more like a super-buff muscle man than a "green fatty" or "bronze blob."

Now standing over three meters tall, Luke saw the mixed emotions on the faces of people who weren't quite able to run yet.

Then he realized: Oh, crap. I don't have Hulk's super-stretchy underwear…

"ROOOAR!!"

With an almost uncontrollable roar, Luke's body transformed again. New material emerged between muscle gaps, forming armor that covered his body.

The people stuck between the two monsters paused, then began slowly edging toward the sidewalk. Behind them was Abomination—an actual killer. In front of them, a giant in unknown villain cosplay. Either way, it looked like they were doomed. The psychological pressure was eclipse-level. Some people fainted outright.

Luke's armor, influenced by both his memories and Doomsday's subconscious, resembled General Zod's Kryptonian battle armor from Man of Steel—giving off an ominous, villainous vibe.

Unlike the original Doomsday, who exploded with power upon leveling up, Luke consumed massive energy to fuel his second transformation. The drained feeling lowered the pressure on his still-developing control. As his eyes fell on the injured but kindhearted woman, he had no time to feel relief—another wave of evolution surged through him.

This time, the change wasn't just energy—it was a qualitative leap in abilities:

Strength enhancement.

Enhanced hearing.

Enhanced vision.

The sensation of floating—maybe even flying.

And then… X-ray vision began activating.

His eyes were the problem. Luke already knew what was about to happen...

"Hahahahaha! Are you another of General Ross's monsters?!"

Upon spotting a "worthy opponent," Abomination roared and charged at Luke.
