Chapter 37 - CHAPTER 8: THE TIDE HAS TURNED

High above the broken horizon, a lone Kasugai Crow soared through the skies—its black wings catching the morning sun. Below, the once-thriving Entertainment District lay in ruins, but the fires of hope still flickered in the hearts of the survivors.

With urgent purpose, the crow flapped onward until it reached the estate of the Ubuyashiki Family.

There, Kagaya Ubuyashiki sat in silence beneath the blooming wisteria trees. His wife beside him, his children playing quietly in the garden. The calm was broken by the rustling of feathers.

The crow landed, bowing its head, then spoke:

"REPORT: Upper Moon Six—Gyutaro and Daki—have been eliminated.

Demon Slayers injured: Kamado Tanjiro, Agatsuma Zenitsu, Hashibira Inosuke, and Sound Hashira Uzui Tengen.

Status: Alive.

Tengen Uzui has declared retirement.

Victory achieved under severe cost."

Kagaya closed his eyes, exhaling slowly.

"…So the sun has risen upon another night of sorrow and sacrifice."

He placed a hand over his chest.

"To slay an Upper Moon… It has been over a hundred years since that happened. Their strength… must be growing. But so must ours."

A soft smile formed on his lips, gentle yet filled with unshakable belief.

"Kamado Tanjiro… you truly are a miracle. To all of them… I am grateful."

He turned to his wife.

"It is beginning. The tide is shifting. Slowly… the end approaches."

And with the wind rustling the petals above, the scene faded to stillness once more
