Chapter 2 - Stuck

"Fool," Rian snorted coldly, feeling the rush of wind towards his face.

Who the heck did this fellow think he was? Trying to hit him?

With his Cultivation realm, he didn't even need to touch them. Just with the suppression of realms, he could crush ants like them into a paste.

Thinking about this, Rain released his aura which surged forward like a tide, instantly enveloping the fist like a lone boat sailing the sea during an angry storm that devoured the boat in less than a second.

"Thud!"

A loud sound hit everyone's ears. The figures standing before Rain all fell to their knees, fear written all over their faces and they didn't dare glance at him.

Just now, an insurmountable pressure pressed down on them threatening to tear them apart. The pressure had pressed them to the floor and just as it was about to tear them apart, it suddenly dissipated.

Though they tried to fight back with their Cultivation realm, it was futile and they were easily defeated.

They could tell that this power was even greater than that of the sect elders and could only be compared to that of the sect master.

Rain on the other hand froze as he felt his strength leaving him. His Cultivation of a hundred years evaporated into thin air.

The next moment, a wave of fatigue hit his soul making him stagger and almost fall to the floor.

"No, please spare us!" The disciples kneeling before Rain immediately kowtowed in fear seeing him move closer towards them.

Rain paused and glanced at them, but he couldn't be too bothered to care about them.

He needed to take care of this sudden fatigue and also figure out the reason behind the sudden disappearance of his cultivation.

Ignoring the disciples, Rain staggered towards his dorm wanting to get there before he could collapse.

The crowd that had gathered watched in silence as Rain left. Just now when Rain's power surged, they had also felt it and it had sent a chill down their spine.

Though it was not directed at them, they had clearly felt it and thus were terrified beyond reason.

Soon, Rain got to his dorm given by the sect. It was a single room and because of his position as a disciple of an outer sect, it was a small room.

He didn't care about all of this and directly fell onto the small straw bed inside the room dozing off almost immediately.

Hours later, his eyes flashed open and he sat up slowly, observing his surroundings.

The room was a small one. A straw bed, the one he was lying on, then a pile of scrolls which were probably some Cultivation techniques and Martial arts skills. Then a pile of clothes in the other corner.

Apart from that, there was nothing in the room. Also, the room seemed to be oddly neat and arranged.

"What happened?" Rain muttered wondering what had happened when he released his aura.

Closing his eyes, Rain began to observe his body only then did his expression change.

The body he had just taken over was trash that had not even broken through to the Foundation Establishment Realm and was still stuck at the middle stage of the Qi gathering realm after years of cultivating.

As for his Cultivation, it had disappeared the moment he took over this body. What he had used was just a fragment left.

"No, this is bad," Rain muttered, feeling rather frustrated not knowing whether to curse the original owner of this body.

After absorbing his memory, he could see how diligent he had been in cultivating, yet even after ten years of intense cultivation, he was still stuck in the Middle stage of the Qi gathering realm.

All those he got into the sect with were now inner disciples or even core disciples. The worst amongst them was now a Core Spirit Realm powerhouse.

But what about him? He was still stuck in the Qi gathering realm, turning him into a laughingstock of the sect.

His junior brothers would come and surpass him, leaving him to eat dust. Slowly, he was forced by the other disciples to do menial work for them.

The elders didn't find anything wrong with it. This was a place where strength ruled. If he wanted dignity, then he had to be stronger.

Thinking about this, Rain sighed, not knowing what to do. How was he going to be able to defeat the Heavenly emperor with a body like this?

Even if he cultivated for a million years, he wouldn't be able to reach even the soul refinement realm, talk more or less defeat the Heavenly emperor.

"Let's see what kind of Cultivation technique he practices," Rain muttered, knowing he couldn't give up.

As long as he knew, he didn't want to be sent back to that abyss. It was better to think of a way.

With his thousand-year experience of cultivating, it wouldn't be a hard thing to turn this trash of a body into something good. But even at that, he would have a hard time cultivating to a level where he would be able to defeat the heavenly emperor.

Closing his eyes, Rain combed through the Cultivation technique in the original body's memory. After a while, he opened his eyes and couldn't help but curse,

"Who the heck created this technique?"

"Even if a super genius were to cultivate this, I bet he wouldn't be able to break through to the foundation realm in his lifetime. What the heck is this?"

Shaking his head in utmost disappointment, Rain began to search through his memories for a Cultivation technique.

Cultivation techniques were divided into four levels. Yellow, Black, Earth, and Heaven Grade. Each level was also divided into low, mid, and supreme.

The higher the level of the Cultivation technique, the higher the Cultivation limit. A Supreme-Grade Yellow Cultivation technique would let whoever cultivated it break through to the spirit body realm at most no matter what the talent of the person was.

And a supreme-Grade Heaven Cultivation technique would guarantee one reached the peak of Cultivation.

As for the Cultivation technique he had just come across, he couldn't even say if it was a Yellow Grade. Even if it was a yellow grade, it had to be the lowest of the grades.

Rain had a lot of Cultivation techniques ranging from a low-grade earth level and even had a supreme-grade Heaven Cultivation technique he had once come across in the past.

But the conditions for cultivating the Supreme-Grade Heaven Cultivation technique were extremely harsh and he didn't meet it. Over the years, he also didn't meet anyone who fulfilled it, so he just kept it.

After searching through his memories, Rain picked a supreme-grade earth Cultivation technique and began to cultivate.

Just as he was about to focus, a loud knock came on his door making him frown.

"Rain! You bastard, come out here!" A haughty voice called from outside.
