Two weeks after the engagement ceremony Mason successfully launched his company which he named Black Rock incorporated.
The few engineers he had were currently hard at work fulfilling orders that he came back with . Even the guards stationed with him had switched from guard duties and had been trained in vehicle manufacturing.
They just had about twenty different vehicles to produce albeit at different specifications. Mason wanted to emulate the sales tactics of the luxury car brands of his previous world and also have cheap and mass produced vehicles that were accessible by the general public.
For this purpose alone word was spread that Black Rock was hiring individuals with an experience with craftsmanship experience although people with no crafting skills were also available to apply.
In this world, there was a severe wealth disparity as the gap between rich and poor was a huge chasm . Wealth was tied to both birth status and strength, without one or both of this the probability of one making it turns slim .
So despite it being just a word of mouth announcement, many people arrived at Mason's Manor which had now been converted to the Black Rock production site .
Ever since Mason arrived in this world , he had never truly witnessed hardship but he knew truly well what it entailed although that was in the past.
But seeing people with worn out clothes clamouring for a work so they could get basic shelter and food for their families seemed disheartening.
Immediately he started the interview process checking the strengths and weaknesses of each individual to know where to better place them .
By the time he was done , he had hired about two hundred workers that would be placed in car manufacturing and the oil rig . An extra thirty were hired to be trained as logistics personnel that would be responsible for delivery, driving teachers and other tasks not related to engineering.
Despite being pragmatic as he understood the troubles of the low class Mason didn't take any chances as he made every employee sign a non disclosure agreement and a contract that detailed their roles in the company. He specifically emphasized the risk of bodily and mental harm or even death if any company secrets were exposed .
This was a society which was ruled by strength so he was never going to receive any backlash for trying to seriously protect what belonged to him .
For a full month , the entire company was dedicated to training the new employees and a division of labour was already established.
Every component from the engines to the transmission and tires all had their respective factories which after production would be sent finally to the respective factories to be assembled.
Within two months, Black Rock had started production of trucks which were modified for carrying heavy payloads. This cargo trucks were nessesary in establishing the logistics branch of Black Rock.
By the third month some of the nobles who placed orders started receiving their vehicles. One of which was a Baron based in Berlin, he was extremely overjoyed when he received his vehicle, a large SUV , all wheel drive using a V6 engine.
The interior was furnished with plush seats which used the highest quality leather in its production. It even had and air conditioning system which was ultimately a magic array that controlled the temperature of the interior in contrast to the exterior.
This meant that if the exterior was warm , the interior would be cool and vise versa .
It also employed a sleek but aggressive body style and all this was possible for the price of three hundred thousand Prussian marks .
There was even a complementary one hundred liters of petrol that came with the vehicle and free training for the car diver .
Soon Black Rock started receiving orders throughout the empire from guild masters and nobles alike for an opportunity to purchase one of the luxury cars , even several well known mages has started contacting the company to have cars made for them.
By the end of the year, especially in Munich where the company was located , cars could be seen speeding along the way .
Mason had even ended up getting contracts to transport goods to various parts of the country .
Guilds in Munich contracted him to transport items ranging from monster carcass to precious stones and metals.
This was done both cheaply and fast making Black Rock logistics the go to logistics company in Munich .
Although car sales to the rich and powerful amounted to a bulk of their income, the logistics and transportation department was receiving a steady flow of income.

Mason has began a journey to achieve his goal but in doing so he had stepped on some toes .
Count Linus of the house Bullock had been the one running cargo transport in Munich and it had been the core of his family's business with shares in other businesses. But for the past six months, his revenue has been dwindling .
This was not the first time that he had sustained losses because of Mason . The first time was during the antislavery period.
Despite him being in support of the imperial family, he couldn't resist taking kickbacks from the slave traders.
Infact many loyalist took kickbacks and that was probably why the investigations were abruptly stopped.
Currently he was in a meeting with James Abel , a representative of the Nightshade guild.
The Nightshade guild was known for information gathering, but their real business was quiet assassinations.
" That boy Mason has to go , he has cost me too much .
I don't care about the repercussions, I want him gone."
James was about to caution that the imperial family or rather Prince Gregory was backing Mason but the look on Linus face showed that he didn't care .
" Okay consider it done ."
Then just immediately, Linus rembered something.
" Oh and please remember, he is just a year shy from adulthood but I hear that he is extremely powerful and that he actually defeated the red Lion matriarch single handedly without using any of his abilities.
I don't know if it is true or just hearsay so please make sure nothing goes wrong or else it would be both our heads."
