Chapter 46 - Chapter 46 Only through fire can one be reborn.

"Mommy, it stinks!" This was Ginny's complaint as she lay on the chair in front of The Burrow, covering her nose, to Mrs. Weasley, who was also covering her nose.

"George, does Agarth have a loss of smell? He doesn't seem to be able to smell anything bad."

Fred nudged George's arm with his elbow, because George had already covered his nose with his hand to block out the stench that filled the air—it was even smellier than his own stinky socks that he'd been hiding for a week.

"Ah, Dono!" /I don't know!/ George mumbled through his mouth.

They not only had to guard against the omnipresent stench, but also had to be careful that the stench might enter their noses through their mouths.

And this has been going on for five days now.

Since Professor Dumbledore left, Agarth had been quiet for two days, simply working on his wooden blocks or carving something.

However, starting from the third day, this nauseating stench began to spread from the wooden house.

The older Weasleys have magic that allows them to block out their sense of smell, but we can't do that at all!

Bill, who is capable of using magic, took Charlie and Percy to his great-aunt's house during the holiday, leaving the rest of them to endure the stench for three whole days.

"Mom, are you really not going to consider writing to Professor Dumbledore?" Ron asked.

He was the first person in those five days to suggest sending Agarth back to Dumbledore's house.

However, Mrs. Weasley refused his request, and she wasn't angry with Agarth. After all, compared to the great things Agarth had done on his first day, the stench was only temporary.

Tomorrow, they were going to school.

Mrs. Weasley comforted herself with this thought.

At the same time, Agarth patted his dirty hands, flicked the dust off his clothes, let out a long breath, took a few steps back, and looked with satisfaction at the wooden house with its mortise and tenon structure in front of him.

'This is the first time I've ever attempted such a large-scale work.'

Agarth glanced back at the Weasleys again, and in the distance, a group of red-haired, freckled faces were staring at him.

"Hahahahahahahaha!" Agarth burst into laughter.

He was not unaware that his actions over the past few days had indeed had a significant impact on the Weasley family, but the family had neither rejected him nor tried to stop him.

Just as the book says, this family is indeed a very kind and steadfast partisan of Dumbledore.

"Everyone, how about we watch a good show?" Agarth shouted in the direction of The Burrow.

He flicked a red light from his hand and threw it towards the wooden house.

In an instant, the raging flames engulfed the wooden house! In the firelight, Agarth's azure pupils, along with the ends of his eyebrows, took on a slightly bewitching quality.

"Hahahaha! Only through fire can one be reborn, isn't that right!"

"Merlin's pants, Agarth!" Mrs. Weasley rushed out with lightning speed, instantly appearing beside Agarth and pulling him back by the hand.

The closer one gets to the firelight, the hotter it feels, making one feel irritable and intensifying one's anger.

"You child! I will! I will definitely tell Professor Dumbledore!" Mrs. Weasley no longer cared about Agarth's status as a guest and grabbed Agarth's ear, roaring angrily.

During the few days Agarth stayed at home, he, George, and Fred almost became triplets. If it weren't for Agarth's face, which was much better looking than her two sons, she would have mistakenly thought she had a lost child.

"Ouch, ouch, ouch!" Agarth hopped around, moving his body in sync with Mrs. Weasley's movements.

The children following behind Mrs. Weasley smiled broadly when they saw Agarth's appearance.

'Mom finally couldn't hold back and took action against Agarth! If they had done what Agarth had been working on these past few days, their bottom would have been swollen from a spanking long ago.'

Of all the people here, Ron had the brightest and happiest smile.

There was nothing they could do, Agarth had been spending the last few days making all sorts of spider models with the twins to scare themselves, and those models were getting more and more lifelike and extremely frightening.

"I…I…I didn't start the fire on purpose!" Agarth raised his right hand, trying to make Mrs. Weasley see his demand.

"Aunt Molly, look, look, this house won't break. Once the flames are out, the house will be protected."

Mrs. Weasley completely ignored Agarth's explanation, twisting his ear as she shooed away the children coming this way.

"Don't go over there, children! All of you, get back inside!"

Several Weasleys shrank back and immediately turned and ran back.

'What a joke! Nobody wants to have their ears twisted again, especially Mrs. Weasley, who has a really strong grip.'

"Hey, hey, hey! Look, look! The fire's out!" Agarth clung to Mrs. Weasley's hand, unwilling to leave.

As the stench in the air dissipated, the burning cabin also ceased its activity.

The group stopped and turned to look at the building kissed by the firelight.

Completely different from the previous brown house, this house, after being burned by fire, now has cracks between each wooden pillar.

However, the cracks were not abrupt, instead, they blended with the runes Agarth had been inscribing these past few days, faintly shimmering with a reddish-brown hue.

A transparent canopy is wrapped around the wooden structure of the house, and only when the sunlight shines through can a few streaks of light be seen.

"Agarth, is this still the same smelly house you built?" Ginny took a few steps forward and carefully examined the house.

"Of course, but I've only ever made small things before, this is my first time trying something this big." Agarth rubbed his ears, they really hurt.

'No wonder George and Fred were yelling so loudly that day, Mr. Weasley is really strong!'

"This room is my apology gift, George. Go inside and wait a while, and you'll find out soon enough!" Agarth winked at Mrs. Weasley.

George had no doubt about Agarth's words and jogged into the house, while Fred rolled his eyes and followed him in.

"George, Fred!" Mrs. Weasley tried to stop them, but it was too late, and she could only watch as the two rascals ran inside.

"Aunt Molly, try the spells Deprimo and Incendio," Agarth said to Mrs. Weasley, as he didn't know how to use such magic yet.

Mrs. Weasley refused outright, saying, "Agarth, this is not child's play. These two spells are not as weak as you think."

Agarth paused for a moment, then led Mrs. Weasley closer to the cabin and reached out to touch the invisible, transparent barrier.

'It's a pity I won't be able to see such a defense.'

When the cabin was being built, Agarth used hair from the Weasley family to put inside, so that no one except the Weasley family or anyone brought in by them could enter.
