Chapter 62 - Chapter 62 Who Cares?

Abu cried out and flew inside.

Upon hearing the sound, Warrington looked away from the toad in his hand and saw a small bird with short feathers and glowing red flying towards his face.

"Get away! You stupid bird!"

Warrington raised the knife in his hand, intending to swat Abu away.

However, Abu dodged extremely quickly, and in the blink of an eye, he was right next to Warrington's ear.

Abu let out a clear cry, opened her sharp beak, and a ball of red spurted out of her mouth.

It directly set Warrington's hair ablaze.

"Ah!!!" Warrington yelled, taking off his house robe and covering his forehead with it to try and extinguish the burning flames on his forehead as he ran out of the classroom.

"Professor! Professor!" Warrington howled, but could only watch in despair as his hair was burned off by the strange flames.

The flames seemed to have a mind of their own, burning only his hair. However, even though only his hair was ignited, they still left behind clumps of scars on his forehead, making him look quite disgusting.

Agarth, who was hiding in the classroom across the street, patted Abu on the shoulder.

'That bastard.'

'Last time it was the mouth, this time it's the hair, and if it happens a third time, I'll be collecting interest.'

Thinking this, Agarth's steps became much lighter as he walked toward the Great Hall.

While swaying his body, he would touch the stone wall next to him. When he saw someone peeking at his portrait, he would stop and greet them with a smile.

However, the portraits that had just taken in everything looked away as soon as they noticed Agarth's gaze.

This kid must be from Dumbledore's family, otherwise why would he have a phoenix by his side?

Even the phoenix beside him looks almost like a featherless bird.

Meanwhile, Warrington ran back to his classroom, hoping to seek help from his Head House, but he didn't see Professor Snape.

He could only press the robe over his head, dodging and weaving all the way, his eyes red, as he ran to the first-floor washroom to look in the mirror.

'Damn Lindgel!'

Warrington walked along, pondering how it could be such a coincidence that a bird appeared and burned his hair.

Suddenly, 'I remembered the Potions class just now, and Lindgel's devilish whispers in my ear.'

For a moment, he was overwhelmed by a mixture of fear and resentment.

Meanwhile, Professor Snape, who was rushing to the headmaster's office, was cursing inwardly.

He ignored the students who passed by, greeted him but didn't expect a response, and immediately turned and ran away.

Such situations occurred frequently after he joined Hogwarts.

'A bunch of cowardly fools.'

He took very long strides and moved very fast. In no time, he arrived in front of the stone beast with the dripping spout.

Professor Snape closed his eyes, calming himself down after the journey.

However, this calm mood vanished when he thought of the password to enter the office, and he gritted his teeth.

"Password," the dripping stone beast said coldly.

"Honey, honey, honey."

"Password correct." After the dripping stone beast finished speaking, it leaped to the side, and the door opened.

As soon as he entered, he saw the assistant who should have been helping out at Hospital Wing at that moment sitting on the sofa, leisurely reading the newspaper and sipping coffee.

Our headmaster, who was eating a small cake, smiled and invited Professor Snape in as he entered

"Severus, my child, would you like some dessert together?"

"No, Mr. Headmaster," Professor Snape said, sitting down directly in the chair in front of him.

"I also need to remind you that I don't have time to make you the Tooth Strengthening Potion."

"Also, I have class this afternoon, Headmaster, please just say so."

His tone was cold, his attitude indifferent, and his eyes mocking, however, Professor Snape's gaze swept over Grindelwald.

"Alright, alright." Dumbledore was used to Snape's attitude, after all, he treated everyone the same way.

Grindelwald paid no attention to the conversation between the two on the other side, though he did notice Snape glancing at him every now and then.

"The reason I called you here today is actually to talk to you about Agarth." Professor Dumbledore tapped the plate lightly, and a plate of pastries disappeared from the table.

He wiped his mouth, put one hand on the other, and looked at Snape with his usual smile.

"You know, the rumors are indeed true."

Since Agarth enrolled, the professors, who had already heard about this new student during the holidays, have been filled with a strong sense of gossip.

Snape nodded, gesturing for Dumbledore to continue.

"Ahem, Agarth is rather a little mischievous." Seeing that Snape didn't respond, Dumbledore had no choice but to continue the charade himself.

"Just a little?" Snape scoffed.

'Last night, I put him in detention, and he still managed to pull off a prank. Not to mention this morning, when I asked the prefects, I found out about the little tricks Agarth had been playing on his dorm room door.'

'Add to that the explosion in class today.'

'Is this just being a little mischievous?'

Dumbledore, caught off guard by the question, was momentarily speechless.

"Severus, have pity on this old man and show some care for my own bloodline."

Dumbledore's face held a pleading expression.

Snape snorted again, but this time his tone softened.

He rarely showed such an expression to the people in front of him.

It was as if he was no longer the supreme number one in the magic world, but just an ordinary parent.

"Headmaster, may I ask a question?"

Snape glanced at Dumbledore, who had shaved his beard and looked a little younger.

"How was Agarth born?"

Snape was very curious about the fact that, well, two people (men) could produce a child.

'If it's about potion, what kind of potion? I wonder if I'll ever have the chance to research it.'

"puff!"

Grindelwald spat the coffee he hadn't swallowed onto the newspaper in front of him.

However, he raised his eyebrows and looked at Dumbledore with great interest, wondering how Albus would answer.

A rare look of embarrassment appeared on Dumbledore's face.

He glared at Grindelwald, then changed the subject, saying, "I almost forgot, Minerva told me she'd be coming to see me later."

"Severus, I'm entrusting Agarth to you."

Dumbledore smiled as he quickly finished speaking.

He pretended to be busy, pushed up his glasses, opened the ink bottle, and searched the table for the quill pen he had somehow misplaced.

Knowing that the person in front of him was telling him to leave, Snape stood up, turned around, and walked away.

'Who cares to know?'
