Even now, Renji found it hard to accept.
His entire worldview—everything he thought he understood about life, history, and power—was unraveling thread by thread. Sitting in the corner of the wooden house as dusk settled over Uzumaki Village, he stared blankly out the window, his thoughts spiraling into the cosmic unknown.
The world… their world…
It was nothing more than a floating rock—a speck of dust drifting in an ocean of stars. A single drop in a limitless sea of planets. A billion more like it existed out there, scattered through the black void. The sheer scale of it all made Renji's heart beat faster, not from fear, but from awe.
"How insignificant we really are…" he muttered under his breath.
And yet, even within this insignificant world, forces beyond comprehension had already stirred.
The Otsutsuki Clan.
A race not of this Earth. Beings who traveled from planet to planet like divine parasites—planting Chakra Trees, sucking the life from entire worlds, and consuming the god-fruit that grew from the devastation. That was how they grew stronger—how they became what mortals could only describe as gods.
The same fate had once befallen this very planet.
Two Otsutsuki had arrived here long ago. One of them—Ishiki—had come to rule, but for some unknown reason, he had died. And in his death, he had passed on his remaining power… to his son.
"Insane," Renji whispered, clutching his knees.
It should have been too much to take in. A truth too vast, too alien. And yet… somehow, he could accept it. Perhaps it was because his kagura eye could sense souls. Can analyze chakra in its rawest form. He had searched thoroughly—again and again—but there was no second soul in his son's body.
No trace of Ishiki Otsutsuki's.
Perhaps Elric was simply too powerful now. Perhaps Renji's sensing abilities had become outdated in the face of overwhelming chakra.
But the main thing that truly conform this matter was how powerful Elric soul has become.
No human soul should be this powerful.
And yet, there was his son—sitting at the dinner table just a few feet away—eating curry with one hand, scratching his head with the other, humming cheerfully like an ordinary teenager.
Renji let out a dry, hollow chuckle.
"If only he had the motivation to match that power…"
Ishiki Otsutsuki hadn't come to Earth alone.
No. He had brought a companion—a subordinate. Another Otsutsuki whose entire role was to serve as a sacrifice to the Chakra Tree. That was the standard protocol. One to plant the tree. The other to become its fuel.
But something had gone wrong.
Terribly wrong.
The subordinate had betrayed Ishiki. Left him on the brink of death. And then, she had consumed the Chakra Fruit herself—seizing its god-like power.
She created two sons—warriors designed to oppose the Otsutsuki clan itself. But for reasons unknown, they turned against her. Perhaps out of fear. Perhaps out of duty. Regardless, they had sealed her on the moon, hoping to end her threat forever.
But according to Elric, who currently possess Ishiki memory.
She had left behind a backdoor. A hidden mechanism to one day return.
And the key to her resurrection?
The Rinnegan—those legendary sage eyes.
Renji's fists clenched in his lap. His palms were cold with sweat.
Some years ago, Ishiki had sensed it—a Rinnegan awakening on Earth. That was why he had rushed his plans. Why he had transferred his power so hastily. It was a desperate gamble, one Renji hadn't understood… until now.
Even if Ishiki was dead, his power lived on through Elric.
And if she—the first betrayer, the fruit-eater—was revived… would she target Elric?
Renji wasn't sure. But the odds didn't look good.
And worst of all, they had no idea who had awakened the Rinnegan. No leads. No names. And Renji himself lacked any ability to detect it.
Motivation with out the ability, and his son who has the ability seemed don't have any motivation.
Even if he found the person… what then?
He imagined knocking on a stranger's door, only to be kicked halfway across the village by some god-tier warrior protecting a secret legacy.
He sighed and glanced back at his son, who was now cheerfully drinking soup and talking about whether curry tasted better with or without pickles.
Elric. His son. A soul-devouring powerhouse with godlike potential… and the work ethic of a lazy cat.
"If only I could motivate him…" Renji muttered.
He hated to admit it, he doesn't have the faintest idea if Elric could beat Kaguya.
Even in a sneak attack, she had once brought Ishiki to his knees. And now, with the power of the Chakra Fruit coursing through her?
Elric was powerful, yes—but he don't even train in his life till now.
Renji closed his eyes.
He hoped the power gap wouldn't be too wide.
Maybe than they could negotiate with her, but if possible it's best to stop her from unlocking the seal.
Knock. Knock. Knock.
A sharp series of knocks at the door yanked him from his thoughts.
"Who…?" Renji straightened up, eyes narrowing.
He saw a Uzumaki clans man standing breathlessly.
Patric there is a big trouble coming
